ooh, this is really really good. does it stuff back into the tumbler like in the movies? i love how it's minifig scale, but where would batman hold on when he's riding it?
-
It's $50? It's probably gonna be jacked up to double the price by the time it appears on Bricklink. The term "exclusive" really does jack up the price.
-
I really liked this set, it's cheap and comes with a good supply of flesh heads and the new hair mold. I love the tent too. I'd give it a 10/10.
-
I actually like the smaller size... it's more minifig scale. I always felt that the normal size cars are just a tad too big.
-
oh, I see what you mean. I didn't have anything to base it on, so I just assumed that it wrapped all the way around his head. great work anyway.
-
great work. But I suggest that you round out the corners a bit, cause the bottom of a junk doesn't form an angle with the sides... if you get what i mean.

Heath Ledger Joker *V.1 Finished*
tin7_creations replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
It's really good. But I suggest a change of the face decal... it doesn't look "fearsome" enough. -
YEAH! I'd like a Lego retail store too. In Vancouver.
-
I can probably custom an Azula minifig, the hair is not too hard to do on sculpey. I'll see what I can do.

If you could live in a LEGO set...

For some insane reason, I would choose Arkham Asylum. Either that, or the Batcave. -
Custom Final Fantasy X-2 figures

These are really good. But you've got to change the Yuna head, it just doesn't work. I like how you use photoshop to try out the decals, I'll do that for my figs too, you've got to get me a tutorial or something. -
hmmm... does this forshadow a future batgirl minifig? though, most of the time, game characters don't get made, since it means new molds and stuff., im pretty sure they would make gordon though, he's just a simple fig based on the screenshots.

Harlee's and Plain Old Plain Motorcycle Shops
tin7_creations replied to NewRight's topic in LEGO Town
I LOVE THESE!. Especially Harlee's. I like the Batman and his Batpod thing. One question, does it spin around? -
these are really good. but I don't think in the movie Joker's makeup goes all around his face. so you should decrease the "white" part to just the face area, and not the whole head.
-
It's good, but I think that the back should be longer.
-
I sorta just expected Azula to be next door to her father, and soul bended out of her fire powers. Avatar: Universe? Intriguing... is it a game, or a show? Shame they didn't make more Lego sets, I'd love to have Azula, Toph minifigs.

7040 Dwarves’ Mine Defender - Review

I hate that wheel-rubberband-blade contraption. It doesn't work period. I like the chain-catapult part though. It actually shoots pretty far. -
Heath Ledger Joker *V.1 Finished*

I suggest using Unknown Artist's trenchcoat. The sleeves should be wide enough to hide a small knife. The Joker needs to use his knives. -
I have no problem with my friends knowing. They don't care, they never did. Some of my friends even went to buy Lego after seeing my collection. One of my friends knows this guy, who is this big-shot B-list actor in Hong Kong and is a huge Lego SW fan. So, just ignore them, if they laugh at you, it's their problem. I have a friend who's big on anime and stuff, and I just think that's absolutely weird, but I don't bother him about it, so he doesn't bother me about my Lego.

Favorite Non star wars licensed minifigure

Batman (the newest suit from 2008). Two-Face. The Riddler - simple, yet effective. -
I actually wanted to find a job at Lego Canada, but they don't have a base in Vancouver, only halfway across the country in Toronto.
-
People in US, UK and Germany are so lucky. I live in Vancouver, and the only place to buy Lego is at Toys'R'Us. Wish they could open a Lego Store here, the closest one to me is a 20 hour drive across the border to Anaheim.

Nolan's Rogue Gallery WIP
tin7_creations replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I actually have both of those parts. I did think about using them, since Qui Gon and Ra's al Ghul have the same actor. Problem is, the flesh Qui Gon head doesn't have the eyes I want. So I just chose Karkaroff's head, it looks more fierce anyway, seems more suitable for a genocidal maniac. -
The four villains that have so far appeared in Nolan's Batman: Ra's al Ghul: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2704820645/ The Scarecrow (Dr. Jonathan Crane): http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2704821367/ The Joker WIP: Front - http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2704822043/ Back - http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2705645388/ Two-Face (Harvey Dent) WIP: Front - http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2704822631/ Back - http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2705644734/ The hair for The Joker and Two-Face are made of Sculpey. The Joker will receive decals and a trench coat, probably sometime in September. For Two-Face, I have decided to use SirNadroj's "burning" method for the torso, but I have to wait for my suit torsos to arrive first. Again, sometime in September.

After watching The Dark Knight, and hearing countless rumors that the new villain in the third film will be The Riddler, I decided to create my own "Nolan style" Riddler. My biggest disappointment with the Batman lego, is the lack of a bowler hat for Riddler, so I created one. I also made his little "hook staff" from the game screenshots: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2699874415/ For my "Nolan style" Riddler, I made 3 bowler hats for him, I like all of them, but it's kind of hard picking 1 from 3, so I require some aid. Hat #1: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2700689726/ Hat #2: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2700690278/ Hat #3: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2700690842/ Replies are appreciated! Pick the best hat! PS. Remember, by "Nolan style", it means as realistic as possible, so pick the hat that you think is most realistic and at the same time suits the minifig the most. THANKS!
