  1. it would be this piece here: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4696b
  2. I thank you for the very undeserved praise. It takes me about 2 hours to do one decal, plus I'm only using MS Paint, so the decals look kind of "flat", no shading, no nothing. I would love to help you do some of the easier ones, since it'll probably take me hours to do them anyway, it'll be great practice.
  3. For the next addition to the collection, I made the main leads from the 1995 Pocahontas. Pocahontas and John Smith: The Pocahontas decal was designed by me, and the horrible spray paint job on John Smith's hair was also done by me. Enjoy! tin7
  4. The Gaston hair is sculpted with sculpey... what I normally do, is take a huge block of sculpey, cure it, and use an exacto knife to sculpt out the shape I want, then spray it with a clear coat. hope that helps. As for the Jasmine skin... I know it's not the light flesh tone, it's more brownish in color, like the Native warriors in the Indy sets, but I don't have those heads, so I just chose to use a flesh tone. Thanks for the comments! tin7
  5. Another addition to my DMC. I rarely create villains, however, the challenge to create this rambunctious idiot is just too hard to refuse. Hence, I give you Gaston, from the hit Disney movie Beauty and the Beast (1991). The decal and hair are custom made. I also created the better (and hotter) half of Aladdin: Princess Jasmine The decal for Jasmine was done by LuxorV, thank you so much!
  6. Here's my entry. My favorite character in the show is Princess Azula of the Fire Nation, therefore, my MOC centers around her, and her great accomplishment of taking down the City of Ba Sing Sae all by herself: This is Azula. The highlight of the MOC is her hair, hand sculpted. Decals by LuxorV, with slight modifications by myself. The remainder of the Earth Nation Army who are still loyal to the Earth King. The MOC is titled: The Last Barrier. Where the Earth Nation soldiers are defending the final door in the path between Azula and the Earth King. I took many more angles of this MOC, but I think there's a picture limit, so for more of this MOC, go to my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/ Hope you all like it! PS. This is not an actual scene in the show, just something I envisioned.
  7. LuxorV, you are AWESOME! A true hero! The Avatar decals are great, exactly how I wanted it too, and here I was.. thinking that my description of what I wanted was too vague.
  8. The newest addition to my Disney Minifig Collection is a fan favorite: Mr. J. Thaddeus Toad. The head (which already appeared on this site) was done in Sculpey, and the decal was done by ImperialShadows, once again, Thank you so much! Mr. Toad: The Head, made from Sculpey: The Collar: And as a bonus, here's another minifig in the collection: Wall-E Wall-E This version of Wall-E has been built by many people, but I think it goes really well with my Collection (size-wise) More to come next week! Stay tuned!
  9. I actually requested for it to look like Poison Ivy , and LuxorV did an awesome job once again!
  10. I know exactly what you mean The actual thing looks better though.
  11. Do you know where the cloth on your Tarzan came from? The version of Tarzan @ Disneyland has a "fur garment" strapped across his shoulder. I actually wanted to try it out to see what it would look like, but didn't really come across any "LEGO-sized" shoulder strap garments.
  12. This is the 4th figure in my DMC (Disney Minifig Collection). The head appeared in this forum last summer, custom made from Sculpey. The decal was made by ImperialShadows... sometime during summer if I remember correctly. Scrooge McDuck The Sculpey head: More coming soon (tomorrow actually )!!
  13. Thanks LuxorV, very helpful. Also, you'll be seeing a lot of your decal creations appearing soon too, I have the whole Princess thing planned out etc etc.
  14. I created a whole bunch of Disney figureheads during Summer 2006, and I never got around to completing them. Now, I finally got around to ordering parts on BrickLink, and they've been arriving, so I have started creating my Disney Minifig Collection. First up are 3 minifigs from 2 Disney movies: Aladdin (1992) & Tarzan (1999). These pictures are really crappy (thanks to the 100kb restriction, for better pictures check out my flickr). Aladdin: The decals were my own creation. The hat is made with Sculpey and glued on (highly regret it, but I have 3 copies of that hair, so I guess the glued one went to a good cause). Tarzan & Jane: I think these two minifigs will be the only ones to use entirely original LEGO parts. For more, see my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/
  15. i really want to complete the "Avatar" minifig collection, I have antagonistic views toward Lego for ceasing production on the theme, so I was wondering if anyone could make decals for: Toph: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toph Uncle Iroh: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iroh Azula: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azula Thanks! Also, I was wondering if it's possible to draw the faces in the Avatar style (you know, they have larger eyes and more cartoonish faces than the normal lego heads), and in flesh too. THANKS!
  16. GENIUS!! now u just have to make a Toph minifig and allow it to do some earthbending!
  17. this is great. i wish that people would post instructions for these things... this castle would go EXTREMELY well with the set of Disney minifigs that i'm trying to create. as for the minifigs, still waiting for my parts to arrive from BL, and to place an order for decals.
  18. Can someone make the decal for the hips and legs of this fig in flesh? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=pi066 (Female Islander) Also, would you be able to do a simplified version of the Poison Ivy torso? Just the outline of the green, minus all the leaf patterns I'm aiming for a Tinkerbell torso with the 2 requests put together. Thanks!
  19. haha, I'm not inclined to put my life in danger for a $5 can of brasso.
  20. I'm actually snowed in right now, and I ran out of brasso and can't really go out and buy it. I was wondering what other alternatives there are. I've used an eraser, and don't really envy repeating the experience. Are there any other alternatives besides an eraser? Thanks
  21. I was actually hoping for something more dark coloured, for stealth at night and such.
  22. This is a Dwarven transport to add to the Dwarven theme from LEGO. It's an heavy artillery wagon that has twin cannons firing from the back. It's pulled by two raging bulls, and carries to dwarves. Pics: Front: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3117152694/ Back: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3117153002/ Tell me if there's anything I can improve on! Thanks!
  23. I've had this built for almost a year, but I never got around to posting it. This is an Elven battle wagon (would be great if Lego is still planning to make those Elven sets). It's small and quick, and can be used not just for battle, but for transport as well. Pics: Front: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3117152124/ Back: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3116324815/ Tell me how I can improve! Thanks!
  24. i'll paint those arms flesh, then i can replace the arms on Bane with them.
  25. i also suggest buying sculpey. it's fun and challenging at the same time, sculpt your own molds. sculpey's cheap as well!
