I'm working on the next build for the story of Ragnar the Audacious and I already finished 1/5 of it ... -
Thanks mate! Challenge accepted ! Thank you Legonardo. I actually also never red SoT's story, then started a time ago and got a lot of inspiration , so that I began my own.

This is my entry to the 4th round of the MELO at the 'pages. I would like to get some critism about the spider, since I'll use it in one of my next MOCs too... Thank you! Have a great day! Buurli Burri

I take some white papers as background and do they before a huge window we have in our living room. In the summer I go outside, preferably at the afternoon or early evening(sunset is the best time), because there's perfect light. The background of these are all ps'd and everything done by hand, because the computer sometimes can't make a difference between the white bricks and the white background... As a camera, I just take my dads reflex camera (a cheap one, for 400$) and set it all on automatics, that works enough good for taking pics of LEGO . Thank you de Gothia! I can't tell anything else about you !

Sure, go for it . I was very sceptical because I also thought I'd would look too much like a friends build ...

Hey guys! I built a small vignette for the Building Drive, so here you can see it. I don't think there's much to say, most of us know this legend from somewhere, comics, movies, games (Age of Empires 3 ftw! ) and other stuff. So built a conquistador finding the legendary fountain... I hope you like it!

Thanks Matthew! Thank you!

Yes, you should join. There are so many kind people and great builders Thank you!

Thanks mate I didn't even know that something like that existed in Historica Thank you, especially for your critism . As you might see, I'm from Switzerland and in school I don't learn English (because you're not allowed to have more than 14 different subjets, means English is struck out in our class), so the only place I learn it is here in the LEGO community. Feel free to point out other mistakes, cause that surely will improve my writing...

Thanks Brickington . I don't know how many chapters I'm going to do, but there will surely come more. Thanks to both of you and sorry, but the dog is dead . When I built the second and the third build, I forgot that it's quite annoying and unhandy if Elsa always has this dog with her, but I didn't want to rebuild them, so I somehow had to get rid of it in the fourth build. What is RSPCA? Thank you! It's also my favourite build of this chapter, so in the next there might be more interiors. Thank you Kabel

Hey guys! I was working on the backgroundstory of my character recently and I'm proud to present you here chapter one of the story: The Legend Begins... It was a foggy day, Ragnar couldn't even see his hand before his face. Nothing. Just grey, everywhere. What should they do? The sentinel was useless. If they were attacked on the other side of the village, they wouldn't even see it. Suddenly, Ragnars friend, the well known Olaf with his two golden braids heard a little noise. It sounded scary. First there was only a small smack, than one more, even one more, until he couldn't count it. A short cry of a woman. Then he heard a kid whining. He run out of the house... BONG! He just hit the fence of the deer farm. At least Olaf knew, where he was. He managed to stumble to the house of his friend, Ragnar. Now they already were two to face the ennemy somewhere around there. After a short time, they were an army of 5 men, who all served the Jarl. The fog cleared up. There was a lady lying on the ground. Ragnar run to her, she was his neighbor for a long time. He couldn't feel a pulse. He now saw them: A huge and hungry horde of Trolls, trolling the poor people who lived in the villages in the mountains and who didn't have an enough good defence. They also noticed him. He run back to his comrade in arms, warning them. And then, the attack already came. It wasn't a battle, it was a massacre. A Troll run against Ragnar, he tried to defend his attack with his sword, but the strenght of his ennemy was to big. BONG! He just hit him in the face. Ragnar fell to the ground. Then, the last thing he saw was how his best friend, Olaf was killed by a bunch of hungry monsters. Then everything became black... Ragnar awake. He was in a house he has never been before. But the much more important thing: There was a beautiful woman he has never seen before. Ragnar: "Good Lady, where are we and who are you?" Elsa: "We're in my house, it's a little bit afield from your village. Oh, and please, just call me Elsa." Ragnar: "How the heck did I got here, in the house of such a young lovely woman? Elsa: "That's quite a long story... Two days ago, the village was attacked by a plundering horde of Trolls. They killed everyone they found. I didn't remarked anything of this attack, until I went to there to go shopping . I came to the village, houses were burned, lichs of soldiers lay around everywhere and it stunk like the pest . I found you, as the only surving of the attack. you were already there for 2 days, aswoon, halfway frozen. I took you with me and now you are here." Ragnar: "Also, I'm hungry... Get back to the kitchen!" Elsa: "Hey, you're now in my house and I rule in here and you do what I say, just that this is clear!" Ragnar: "Why are you so agressive against me? It was just a joke, not meant to be insulting. Elsa: "I'm sorry... I don't know, maybe I'm a little bit agressive because of my husband." Ragnar: "So you're married? Elsa: "I was married. My husband was in the village while the attack... Now he's dead. I don't know if I should mourn him or be happy that he died... I actually never loved him, my father forced me to marry him. I'd propose that you get out of the bed now and that we leave this house, I always have bad memories when I'm in here, so I'd like to get away from this place. The Trolls won't need a long time until they arrive here, they will smell us so we better flee to another location. A good friend of me, a mage, lives in the mountains. I'm sure he'd offer us his hospitality, if we make it to there. So Ragnar got out of the bed, dressed and fully armed. Ragnar: "Wait! You don't look like an usual woman, so who are you?" Elsa: "I'm Elsa, traveller in the high mitgardian mountains. It's my business to kill Trolls, Outlaws and other uncool guys. Now let's leave!" After some hours walking... Ragnar: "Look, there's a door in the mountain! Is this the home of your friend?" Elsa: "Yes it is. Also, before we go in there, I have to say that he hates the Jarl, so he might not be happy to see you... Pay attention that his guard don't behead you, he's pretty agressive." Ragnar: "I'm a guard of the Jarl, I know how to defend myself!" Elsa: "His guard isn't one of this weak Trolls, he's one of the best Berserk in the whole country. You're not able to drow aside his hits, he's too fast and if he hit you, you're dead." Ragnar: "Don't worry too much, we'll just walk in and talk some words with them and everything will be ok." Erik, the guard: "Aaarrrg!" He lunged at them and made the Elsa's dog, Mopsen, a head shorter. "I hate dogs!" Meldun, the mage: "Stop it, Erik! Elsa, I tought I'd never see you again. That must be the happiest day in my life!" Elsa: "Daddy!" She run right in his arms. Ragnar: "Nice to meet you, Mister..." Meldun: "My name is Meldun." Erik: "Sorry bro, about what happened before. I didn't know you were a friend." Elsa: "Dad, we need your help. Trolls are plundering the villages around here, but were only two and can't force them together, but if you and Erik would join us, we would be enough to save a lot of people." To be continued...

Sorry, but best chocolate and best cheese already belongs to Switzerland @SK: Your wip looks very impressive! I'm very excited to see the finished MOC @Infernum: Nice little vignette! -
Hey guys I built a figbarf to advertise the LCC project a little bit. It's similar to GoH, just over at Classic-Castle. Here's a link to it: http://www.classic-castle.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4 There are 4 figs, each represents a faction: (from the left to the right) Ranger, Lenfald (similar to Avalonia) Druid, Outlaws (similar to Nocturnus) Light infantry, Garheim (similar to Mitgardia, just with the colours blue/dark blue instead of yellow/green) Hero, Loreos (similar to Kaliphin, althought this figure doesn't really look oriental...) I hope you like them Have a nice day! Simon S.

Yes, Rambo joins Mitgardia! (Sorry, that was just the first thing that I thought of when I saw this fig...) @Erikur: That's a nice fig, it fits Mitgardia much better than this ugly red one Also welcome to you and your brother! I hope that you can have a nice time around here, it surely will be a lot of fun. -
Thanks man! Btw. ringing the town bell is the worst strategy you can choose! LOL Thank you! I just can say, you missed a lot! Thanks mrcp6d ! As you might have remarked, I used exactly the same technics like in the previous one, even some details were the same Thanks. I first had villagers, of course all men shirtless, with big hammers, axes and pitchforks, but it looked too unreal, so I changed it to some Loreesi guards (a project like GoH, over at CC) attacked by some desert bandits (no idea how they're called )... Thank you! I agree that some dead sheaps would have been cool, but I didn't make it that game near, I rather gave an oriental touch to it ! Btw. I'm honored that your first post goes to my MOC! Thanks man ! Thank you Roland

Thank you DaMaximus ! I just imagined how amazing it would look in dark brown ... (opens Bricklink window )

Thanks mate! There's a thread over at CC about AoE2 they're planning for BrickCon 2013. That might be interesting Thank you!

Hey guys I built a towncenter from AoE2, one of my favourite games ever made (after AoE3 ). I hope you like it! Have a great day Simon (For more pics visit my Flickr stream )
