  1. I'm in the same situation as Darth Dino, and I don't know the CW show. I've also just get to the AFOL world so my opinion migth be biased. But I think that the reiteration of the OT sets tends to comfort the OT lovers that the nulber of OT sets are less than the CW sets. Look at the next wave, we got 8 sets, 2 of them are OT, and one of them is an A-wing...
  2. Wow you bought one for me, that's so nice
  3. Really nice And thank you for putting that crapy 80's music in my mind for the remainder of the day
  4. I'm not really excited by the actual sets... I migth get the A-wing tough, because I like Mon Calamari... Sadly I don't have a lot of money to spent on Lego, so I think it's a good thing that I don't really like these sets
  5. I like that vignette But one of the pict seems to have a hole between his torso and his legs (the blond one, bare torso with a round shield)
  6. Great build so far I don't know for others, but the pictures that get me the most excited is the one with the box full of bricks
  7. Really cool ! I wanted to do that as my entry, but in LDD the planet part is not available in LDD, so it's nice to see it brickbuilt
  8. On the contrary, there is no reason for a spaceship to have a box or spherical shape. I think a real spaceship would have it's shape dicted by fonctionnality and not aesthetics
  9. I like what you did here. I'm not into squared ships, but that one is great, and in line with the Dovahkiin. The top turrets are really good, I might steal them for my current LDD project
  10. Really great chess pieces !! It's nice how you included Golum. I think elves would be a little out of place. Rohan soldier (or Gondor when available) are the best choices. Oh and I always knew that Gandalf was a queen
  11. That's an awesome AT-AT But you realize that if the AT-AT is crashed, the rope shouldn't be connected to the rear of the T47
  12. Wow that really well done!! As you I love that scene. The falcon entering the entrance would have been a better choice, but it's just my tough.
  13. Thank you admiral I'd love to see it built too
  14. Others noticed this too. It was discuted here, but the posts got lost... If I remember correctly, Mortesv's got correcly colored threads, but others got 10 of them in what looks like old light grey.
  15. Wow very good and usefull job... It's like an "EB for dummies"
  16. Like I said earlier... That speederbike looks great Building something out of the limited pieces of a given set is a really good and exciting challenge. You have to be inventive and creative. I think EB should hold a building contest open to every themes (pirates, starwars, etc... except maybe technic) and the rule would be to use only bricks from a number of various sets, so every builder start with the same bricks... But maybe I'm the only one interested in this kind of challenge, and maybe it's already been done here
  17. Really nicely done, I like it
  18. How can you already regret getting it?? You won't know all that's inside until the christmas eve!!...
  19. I think it's a tree with yellow leaves since it's autumn Your little brother is skilled, but I guess he has someone to get inspiration from. Well done little brother
  20. The stud on dwalin's head is a little... well... i think it gives that minifig an unfinished look compared to the others.
  21. Glad to see EB back again You all did a great job during this troubled time
  22. Are you sure it's Gloin and not Santa Claus? Discussions here made me want to watch again the films, but during the week end I could only watch the two firsts... And of course I couldn't help but compare the movies and the Lego LOTR sets. Gimli's helm for exemple is very accurate
  23. Awesome ship I really like the modularity. It fit very well in the theme, and has a lot of play feature. I'm wondering where the big blue vehicule goes in the ship. The section where you seem to have piled lots of equipement doesn't looks safe for space travel tough
  24. I'm trying to resist to that shining B-wing who calls my name every time I go to the lego online store... Be sure to post lots of pictures and of course the modifications you mentionned earlier
  25. Really nice MOC The ibis is very well done, recognizable even without reading the text But do ibis cruise on the water like ducks do? I've never seen it before... anyway it's just a small detail in a great MOC
