Where can I read some information on Lego's current licensing agreement with Marvel? Or anything related -
Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

Crazy how TLG would choose these over more endgame sets. The child market must be really huge with the adult collector market being really small when it comes to lego marvel. Either that or TLG is having problems behind the scenes with producing marvel sets. Endgame being the highest grossing film of all time, I'd expect the demand for recreating the endgame final battle in lego to be so high that TLG would be pulling out as much quality lego sets as star wars or overwatch. -

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion

I'm also hoping to see Jared Leto's Joker. Could be unlikely because Suicide Squad is planning to be a very mature film so Lego might not be able to endorse it.- 8,446 replies

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion
Simple1DEA replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Ha I guess it's because the idea for having a DC Universe came after Man of Steel. In Man of Steel, Superman's suit is a uniform from Krypton rather than a superhero outfit. In BvS and the DC Universe, Batman has been wearing his outfit long before Superman started wearing his... which is where the problem lies. So it's really just a weird coincidence.- 8,446 replies

Definitely. I'm not a fan of the way it sticks out here. I think it's poor design. I wonder what type of hinges will be used for the doors. It would be cool to make it open like the real thing.- 8,446 replies

Ha thanks, I actually originally made it in black then replaced the parts with grey. If it was all black you wouldn't see the shape of the windshield.- 14 replies

My take on the new batmobile. Tried to get it minifig scale. I replaced the door hinges with ball joints so the doors can open like the film (set photos). Decided not to add wheel guards because it doesn't look good on it and so it will more playable/functional. [MOC] The Dark Knight Vehicle Trilogy + New Tumbler
Simple1DEA replied to Simple1DEA's topic in LEGO Licensed
Newest addition to the TDKR collection. A fully primed neutron bomb, with a blast radius of 6 miles! (the photo above is photoshopped to put the correct colour pieces I didn't have) Also I made rough/mini instructions for anyone who would want to build it. Use only dark grey (or bluish grey) and light grey bricks. -
Does anyone know any ball shaped pieces similar to the boulder? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30293 that comes in any type of grey or silver

[MOC] The Dark Knight Vehicle Trilogy + New Tumbler
Simple1DEA replied to Simple1DEA's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks a lot for the comments! Sorry I don't have instructions but I can try and give you some tips. Hinges are a key piece, I used 3 types of hinges as you can see from the pictures to get the angles I want. I used the clip and bar ones for the rear spoilers. Also it would be good to use transparent slopes all around the cockpit. Most of it would be pretty easy to build but the nose is the hardest part. -
I've been working on these for a long time. The Batpod I made in August, The Bat in December and The Tumbler this month. They were all very hard to build but I think I did my best. The hardest part to build would either be The Bat's cockpit or the back of The Bat. Another interesting thing I found difficult to build was the nose of The Tumbler which people usually do differently in all of their models, and the key piece for that would be a 1 x 4 tile or 1 x 3 tile, I managed to build it so it gets thinner as it reaches the tip. Also I used the same front wheels on The Tumbler as The Batpod for continuity. Loads of pictures on my flickr: http://www.flickr.co...tos/simple1dea/ Support here: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/33582 Cuusoo projects: http://lego.cuusoo.c...le1DEA#projects Back view. The Tumbler! The rear spoilers can bend up and down like in the films. Batman sitting in the cockpit. Transparent pieces are all around him for windows so he can see everywhere when driving. The Bat! Lego Batpod vs Lego Joker! reference photo: i48.tinypic.com/bdkt36.png I currently haven't got anything on my 'to-build' list but if anyone has any ideas, I can build something with the ton of black pieces I have collected. I would like to build a Batcave for my vehicles but I hardly have enough pieces so it will be a long time until that comes.

REVIEW: 76001 The Bat vs Bane: Tumbler Chase
Simple1DEA replied to PhillipJFry's topic in LEGO Licensed
Great review. I think Lego designed The Bat to make it look like a helicopter without propellers but with wings in its place, and propellers and arms below the wings. So really they just transfered features such as the arms but not the actual shape. Man the UK price is pretty expensive compared to US. Does anyone know when this will be in Lego Stores In UK? -
Ohh I completely missed that. My apologies. It's a 1 x 2 slope without a bottom tube. I think the bottom tube version would look better but I just settled with the without-bottom tube version. They are both very rare pieces. I'm gonna head over to the Lego Store soon and buy a ton of black 2 x 4 bricks to make the cube platforms from The Batcave so that The Bat can sit on, then take some pictures. Also my Tumbler will be done in a week.
-
Hmm sorry if I don't understand which one you're talking about. Are you sure 1 x 2 x 2 trans-clear panel isn't it?
-
Thanks. The roof piece is a 1x2x2 trans-clear panel. Similar to the front window which is 1x2x3.
-
Thanks for the comments! @WetWired Yeah I've got your Tumbler in the picture though slightly modified, I also think the proportions are great. I'm actually working on a new Tumbler from scratch, then I'll have 3 unique Bat-vehicles to myself! I didn't think of that before. I'll swap them right now, I can always change it back if I change my mind. Thanks.
-
Here it is, the completion of my new MOC, The Bat. Complete with matching functions such as foldable rear wings and opening cockpit door. The cockpit actually only fits one minifig but I could make it slightly bigger to fit another though the cockpit would appear out of proportion. I'll make a large cockpit version eventually when I make time for it, just to see how it would look. I'll consider making instructions if it gets lots of supports on Cuusoo Support here: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/31708 More pictures and comparisons with the real Bat on my flickr: http://www.flickr.co...tos/simple1dea/ The entire model is pretty much legally built but there is an illegally connected part underneath as shown. Diagram here: http://tinypic.com/v...?pic=zss2ki&s=6 though I think it can be replaced with a legal connection but won't be as stable. My complete trilogy of Bat Vehicles!

Also what should I do when someone isn't sending an invoice? I've made another order at a store on November 19 but no invoice has come. This person has sent several orders to other customers since then. I've sent two messages a while ago which haven't been read yet.
-
Thanks Kristel. Does anyone know what would be a good piece(s) for the front part of this (guard part)? http://itsaboutadventure.files.wordpress.com/2007/08/img_0117.jpg

Is there a way of finding a store that has the most items on your wanted list? (or any similar function) Also what is the name of the front propellers on The Bat in 76001. I couldn't find it in the propeller category.
