  1. I can tell some true stories too.. The bedroom I slept in when I was young was right on the other side of the bathroom, with the toilet. One night, I urgently needed to go to the toilet and went to the bathroom. At the end of the corridor was the door of the garage, with dotted glass you can only see half through. When I stood up, and walked into the corridor, I always had the tendency to watch to the direction of the garage, but that particular night I was, and still am, sure I saw something passing by in the garage, even though everything was closed! Even now I have goosebumps when I think of that night. Another interesting, but sinister story, is one I heard from my mother, but she doesn't know I heard it. Also when I was younger, my aunt and uncle were on visit. When it got too late, I had to go to bed. Stubborn I was, I went out of bed again, and sat in the kitchen, which was next to the living room. The door was closed, but I could hear everything they said. Suddenly they were talking about weird things that happend to them, and then I heard this weird story: It was an evening, many years ago; when I wasn't born yet, my parents were visiting these same uncle and aunt. They sat in the kitchen drinking a nice cup of coffee. To get there, they had to pass through the living room, where some old and expensive oak bufet and furniture were, with thick iron keys on it. When it got a bit late, they were leaving to go home, passing through the living room again. Then they saw it. All keys of the big bufet were all bent into one direction. And you should know, it was almost impossible to bend them without a tool, and they were still undamaged when they arrived. They also told some other stories, of objects that were gone one moment, and when they returend to that place they were back (stools, bicycle, stepladder, ...) And I have some more weird stories of noises I heard and things I saw, but it is too long to type All of this isn't just a joke, but real facts that give you the creeps when they happen!
  2. I found the hint, but not the post! Let's continue searching...
  3. You bet! If you place a 100 blue bricks, you can hardly see them! I definitely need a few 100 more! It's not a picture of me, but it could be I'm a die hard boarder Can't wait till it's winter again!
  4. No, I won't be there this year. Legoworld will be a big trainproject this year, nothing else. But, you'll see my church there, which you can also find in my flickr gallery
  5. Thanks for the joyfull comment I appreciate it! I think I used about 250 trans blue bricks 2 x 2 and about 100 1 x 2's. But I'll need more in the future, 'cuz I love the use of water in MOC's! And no problem, new projects are spinning in my head This one was supposed to be 4x this size, with an overgrown temple partially build into a volcano, but this won't continue. That's why I gave it the technological touch to finish what I already had
  6. Should it be an exact copy of the picture placed in the first post? Or can it be an image of a moc from someone in which the fig is used?
  7. It's not the gold Conquistadores were after, but some highly developed Native technology! Enjoy! This topic is also in the history tread, but it kinda belongs here too - Flickr Set -

  9. I'd give you the advice to use a lot of small parts, such as plates 1 x 1 with clips, tiles 1 x 1 with clip, ... to give it an impressive look :) Also use arches, and watch out you don't make the walls too empty, by which I mean: use arches, different colours, bricks with grills, statues, parts that come out, ... Here's the one I'm working on right now, which you can maybe use as reference Church
  10. Sorry to bother you again, people This is the last update. The next one will be of the final version! Now the church is halfway, and this is the result: Front: My link Right side: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27412574@N02/4850249488/in/photostream/
  11. My fellow EB-collegues I've been working quite some time again, and I'm almost halfway now. This is how the church looks right now: Rotated Front: Front view: Right side (which is the same as the left side): Any remarks or things that might be build better are always welcome Kind Regards Castlestrike666
  12. I've been working for some hours again, and here's the progress. Now I'm about over 1/4, so still a lot to come! Grtz castlestrike666
  13. My personal congratulations, Daniel! In my opinion one of the best looking castles I've seen. I really love the way you use the environmental objects in your castle, and let it all grow a natural and realistic way. Due to the fact I also attach the utmost importance to greenery and natural objects in moc's, it's one of my favourite creations until now, and I've seen a lot! Keep on building mate! Cuz it's a pleasure to look at!
  14. Thank you all I appreciate the kind words. Today I'll continue working on it. I'll keep y'all updated when something has changed.
  15. You have a point there, and it's a theme with lots of possibilities! Even monsters can be used (see the pirates of the carribean movies ) Enjoy your new sets mate!
  16. It looks a little crowdy. Too bad you didn't make it a little bit bigger to have a more peaceful impression. But, nonetheless, this looks really amazing. I very much like the shape of the balloon! Great job! And I like the way you made the trees with those palm leaves. Nice touch!
  17. Or action theme? Isn't scifi more the space-topic? Great creation you have there. I especially like the raft and the small floating town in the sky. Always nice to see some perspective in moc's. This gives you the impression the creation reaces further than its baseplate.

  19. I'd love to, but the pics are too oversized.. Tried to shrink them but they turned out completely black then
  20. Our LEGOclub has been approached by a group of Trainlovers who wanted to see their favourite traintrack build in LEGO. Due to the fact it's a few 100 years old, and dates back from the old days, I thought it could find its place here on the 'History' topic. I volunteered to make the church of Olloy, a city in which the train is passing by, and here's what I currently have. The three most left pictures are taken today: - Brickshelf - Any comments or critics are more then welcome! I'll keep you updated when more has come! Kind Regards castlestrike666.
  21. I hope I won't see this guy in our street, or I'll run like hell Very impressive dude. Reminds me of the Resident Evil 2 guy: Resident Evil 2
  22. Sorry people. This is the first time this happens to me, but I just cannot vote. There are way too many great creations that I just cannot choose between them. For this one time I'll leave my vote to my fellow Eurobrickers. So: amazing job to you all!!
  23. Zcerberus: 3 Oky Wan Kenobi: 2 Nich Artri: 2
