  1. Hello, this is my FIRST EVER TOPIC so i'll make it pretty simple I just made a brickshelf account so I could post pictures and just share my MOCs with the world. I will be posting some new information on my future builds and asking questions if I have any, and who else to ask but the wonderful members of Eurobricks! I'll start off by showing you guys a couple of photos of my most recent MOC called DRIFTER-a very fast and compact car capable of actual drifting. I bought a buggy motor recently so I made this model to test it's capabilities. I made enough photos so you can build it yourself-just give me some credit Here's some of the pics, but if you want to see the whole folder just click on the link in the second sentence. Happy Building!
  2. how does this look? (if only it was possible)
  3. LOL. was JUST looking at that on brickshelf. yes, if I do decide to get custom tires, I'll probably get those or the rock crusher x/t. may I ask...what are the two cheapest tire choices on the list dluders made? Cute kittens BTW
  4. Couple new videos-nothing new, just a and an :D
  5. I like the look and size of these rock crusher x/t tires, they are kind of an alternative to the ansmann tires
  6. Does it now have longer wheelbase? I like the link placement on the shock absorbers
  7. Yes I'd also like to order them, can I get them in U.S?
  8. My crawler comes friday and I will do 8/24 in hubs, but also replace 20t/diff with 12t/20t-sariel's mods didnt seem to have enough torque for me, but if it's too slow, I'll just redo it.And nice red truck, I made a black and lime accents for fun, and it looks great
  9. Original color looks awesome, its just fun to change it up :D
  10. I'd like to see a lime or lime and black color scheme, I've seen lego trial trucks like that before
  11. 8081 is a mid size vehicle-so no, but you could use the 9398's black panels to try to 'extend' the current dimensions of the 8081 body.
  12. Ah you are so lucky I'll be looking at that box in a few days too, can't wait! has anyone else modded their crawler other than sariel and efferman?
  13. A new video showing two of three 2h sets by osuharding1. The sets are on the shelves of toysrus, which probably relates to my purchase of the crawler today at toysrus ebay.
  14. sad, but i think they released these sets on ebay just hours before I checked! What luck! It should get to me next week
  15. Just bought crawler from ebay for 200 USD  Is this normal? I thought I'd have to wait till August because I'm in the US The seller was toysrus.
  16. New videos of offroad performance by RunningHippo. There's a part 2 to it as well. Wow, another video, it's the official tlg advertisement. of course the performance is exaggerated But it looks nice either way.
  17. Cool! It looks great from the front but as you look towards the rear side, It seems to get more and more boring and empty, but this can be solved with an extension of cage and panels, and cover up that unnecessarily colorful chassis thats showing.
  18. I agree with this, the crawler I have currently only has 1 xl for both axles and it is similar to zblj's raptor, and it works like a charm:
  19. Thank you for the instructions, I will definitely use this when I get the 9398, but I will still see if I can mount the servo directly on the axle of my new crawler:
  20. Thank you for those instructions! This is kind of what I had in mind, I'll surely use this axle to build something like the 'Skunk'
  21. Thanks! Well, I guess I'll just use the xl, unless I give l motors more gearing. I forgot they ARE faster but xl with less gearing is simpler-so many pros and cons, I'll just do both!
  22. My plans are to hook up two l motors in the middle of a chassis, have a four link setup for both axles, and have servo directly on axle, but its only worth it if 2 l motors have more torque than 1 xl motor. Do they? and does this idea sound possible?
  23. At least you can trade more speed with being able to climb decent obstacles. And efferman, I agree that the model is too heavy, and I really look forward to the new axle types that can be made.
  24. Does anyone think you could use the servo motor directly on the axle like this:
  25. WOO HOO! I guess I don't have to wait so long for the crawler, alyhough its a bit pricey
