Category 2: Embassy Round two of the Guilds of Historica has just launched. We want to see how your guild coexist within another land. Head over to the Guilds subforum to read the full details of this larger building category.

Category 2: Embassy. Build an embassy in enemy territory. Knock yourself out, it can be a point of trading if so desired, but preferably a fortified structure to allow protection for its homeland residents. Make it interesting how your style of guild dwelling integrates into another lands unique flora and fauna. Will a Nocturnus embassy be polluting a pure environment? Will their be mystical snow fall in the desert? Trees growing where they shouldn't? desert in amonsgt a swamp? See how you go! The five best from each guild as decided by the guild leader will earn bonus points, bragging rights, possibly new titles and tags as well, did I mention prizes! All guild members are encouraged to take part in the build categories. Points will be earned for participation, but don't rush, you will have a month to complete the second task. You may post WIP shots as well in your guild thread to gain assistance, but all completed MOCs should be posted in their own topic with the Guild name in the description and the guild standard in the MOC as well to classify as a Guild build. WIP shots in your Guild pinned topics Complete MOC posted as separate topic 48x48 or smaller All guild members may enter Entries close February 15th Indexing will be done in this topic.

My plan is to eventually build Abyssian in the Moruth swamplands, but a few smaller scenes will probably happen first. I love the ideas and will have a good read tonight and comment more then. I think the capital city is not really for Nocturnus, rather the defining of areas and fortifications/settlements will better define our land. Love the idea of worm or assassin vine farming too.

Great job on the watchtowers guys Judging will happen over the Christmas break and then its on to round 2! In the meantime keep the extra builds coming, lets flesh out Nocturnus as a region.

Quite a nice tower possibly missed in the rush of topics posted. I like what you have achieved with the tower itself. Perhaps a little more terrain or a tree would fill the foreground a little more. Good to have you back building again.

Avalonia registration is full for the time being, lets see some depth enter the other three guilds, your leaders look forward to breaking you teaching you many things!

Some really nice designs, I quite like the shield design and think it would go great in the guilds of Historica. Thanks for sharing some of these ideas and keep em coming people. As for a brick built animal topic, I would love to see it, though lets get a few designs built before launching a topic just for one animal

The Guilds of Historica round one challenge has finished, with 79 entries submitted the guild leaders decided it would be fun to provide some prizes for this and future challenges. MMMM, awesomesauce, yummy! Agreed, this is a great build Rod, we Nocturnus are storming home with a late charge. Love the lights, the baseplate, drawbridge, eerie inner lights, red roof, its all good.
