Yes, it is not my design or concept, just my Lego interpretation of the vehicles found in the short movie.

lengineers started following [MOC] Rhinoceptor suborbital spaceship , [MOC] [LDD] [IDEAS] , [MOC] Episode VII Desert Speeder and 3 others

Yes I have to precise that this is not mine, but one that has been added to my site by MOCer Daiman. Yes from what I saw frm the lxf, it is pretty articulated @lachupa cabra: It's kind of minifg scale: a minifig would not reach the left knee. @mikemo: the initial post has link to building instructions :)

Thanks , happy you like it. Actually I should have titled that [LDD] instead of [MOC] , or both ? Not sure if I can edit the title now...
-
Oups sorry for this, actually this one may be too big ? What's the most suitable size ? :)

The Ultimate Rancor, a real desk amplifier. It will stand on its own but prefers a base. You can get the LXF file from: http://www.repubrick.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=3942&virtuemart_category_id=176&Itemid=144〈=en

This is the speeder as seen in the Star Wars Episode 7 trailer 1 teaser. In that part of the video, it is run by actress Daisy Ridley. What's confusing in there, is that in the starting close up of the speeder , we can see a hand weapon, maybe a light saber, and on the following view of the speeder leaving, the lightsaber is clearly not present. On this rendering the speeder is based on a three-wheeled motorcycle part, and I have been trying to render most of the details and the overhall shape and feeling. Hope you'll like it. Hope you like it. You can download the LDD lxf from http://www.repubrick...mid=144〈=en

This ship is the result of an industrial collaboration between Mizuhobishi corp. and Renauld :) It's been inspired by some works of Alexandru Popescu. Hope you like it, more pics on flckr Cuusoo project http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/25362

Cool you like it. No, "arms" are actually part of the quantum propulsion. They could eventualy be used as a weapon being used the opposite way they're intended to be. Weapons are located below the nose.

Click for more pics Here is a new MOC Not so long ago in a not so distant stellar system... Ship is 44cm long. Its inside stucture has been built with Technic lego parts so it's rock solid. Its design mixes classic and modern, lines and curves shapes. Human and alien technologies (Quantum propulsion) Feel free to ask any question, and thank you for supporting the Cuusoo project if you like it at http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/24840

Thanks! Yes actually I find it realy fast and inspiring to build microships first and when the overhall shape is close to what I like, scale them up to a larger/minifigure scale size.
-
Additionaly to the modular cockpit, the Hymenopt ship now has a optional biomech insect head

Here is the midi scale prototype I first built for it: More pics of the proto and full size model in my flickr
