  1. autorazr, thanks on Cassy! I can't guarantee her legs are the correct colour, as I was basing it on my memory of her (I did have the comic out, but I was instead looking at ugly John to make, I kind of shelved the book and the idea and then it hit me, why not make her?). Thanks on Logan's legs, much appreciated. Hulk_Smash, thanks, and I agree, great choice! If it's alright, may I use your idea for Barnes? I was going to buy a spare Hydra tank to increase my Hydra army, and use the spare Cap to upgrade my Major Victory, but, after I've found a non purist solution for Vance, the spare Cap'll be up for customizing. ianmrid, fantastic customs! Your use of parts is fantastic on No-Girl, and your Enchantress and Lorelei are spot on! Glad I could help with Cassandra.
  2. My Cat. Honestly, he just can't stop smashing the city to bits or swatting minifigures around, so he's "banned", though the language barrier is a bit of a problem.
  3. Bill Murray for either Scrooged or Groundhog Day.
  4. Thanks as always! It is! And that's just the official Avengers, I've "inducted" 15 more or so into their ranks (such as Hyperion, Silver Surfer, and a whole other team), and soon a new Thor, Hulk, and Falcon from the AIM lab will join them. I plan someday soon taking a picture of all my customs. EDIT: Some new figures, Scarlet Centurion circa Kang War Improved Gilgamesh Thor, Lord of Earth, Earth 3515 Enjoy!
  5. So, everyone these days seem to be doing one so... All my Avengers that are officially Avengers according to the comics, both official, professional customs, and home-made customs. So, without further ado, Avengers Assemble! Anyway, for a herculean effort, here is everyone, row by row. From left to right: Row 1 Major Victory, Cap, Jarvis Row 2 Beast, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Thor, Shellhead (Iron Man), Black Panther, Wolverine, She-Hulk, Mr Fantastic, The Invisible Woman Row 3 Nikki, Charlie 27, Wonder Man, Vision, Wasp, Giant Man, Hulk, Hercules, Black Knight, Thing, The Human Torch Row 4 Martinex, Thunderstrike, Quicksilver, Spider-Man, War Machine, Namor, Mrs Marvel, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Dr Strange Row 5 Starhawk, Talon, Daredevil, Justice, Jack Of Hearts, Triathlon, Captain Britain, Havok, Moondragon, Living Lightning Row 6 Beta Ray Thor, Nova, Jocasta, Sunspot, Cannonball, Darkhawk, Starfox, Swordsman Row 7 Ares, Demolition Man, Dr Druid, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Dagger, Cloak Row 8 Stingray, Hellcat Few! Just to say as well, sorry about my desk intruding on the far left. As you can see, I had to considerably expand my "photography studio" for the picture Enjoy!!
  6. Fantastic figures Hulk_Smash! I love in particular the Steve Rogers and Bucky Cap, you've nailed Chris Even's smile, and Steve's from the comics, perfectly. autorazr, I love the bone clawed Logan, great use of the Werewolf bone claws! Are the legs from one of the Lego movie figures? A few more I thought I'd share: Cassandra Nova Scarlet Spider (currently adding a belt, proper web launchers, and trimming the sticker further, all non purist so I thought I'd add the purist-ish one while it's purist) Chicken suit Morph Enjoy!
  7. Never! I wouldn't even think about having bricks on the toilet. And I've never used a piece of technology either, it's too risky, both health wise and money wise.
  8. Funny, isn't it? I just had a look at what I posted back in January, and it's strange to see what has climbed my list, what hasn't, what I've got, and what back then I was interested in getting but have little to no interest in now. So, my amended list: Must haves: All Marvel Ecto 1 Benny's Spaceship Bad Cop's pursuit Some of the new Agents sets Classic Space mech Creator Mountain Hut Some of the City Arctic sets Lego movie minifigs Metalbeard's duel Super Secret Police dropship Could use: Some of the Police sets The DC Flash set Chima Beasts Would be nice: Pheonix tribe Chima guys The Simpsons CMF's
  9. If/when I get the hood I'll be sure to post a pic. I'm working on Reily's other Spidey costume at the moment. So, I present, Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD! A front view, his SHIELD suit was made by hand while the heads a modified sticker (i.e. I drew his eye patch on). A side view, you can see his utility pocket and his arm belt better from this angle. A back view, you can see the back of harness and his boots (plus a stray cat hair, sorry about that). And one more figure tonight, Hercules (Earth-829) AKA Prince of Power mini series Herc. Enjoy!
  10. That would be good, I hadn't thought about that! Captain Britain is someone I would like to see, even if it's just a brief cameo or for an episode.
  11. SPOILERS: True, it was just an idea though, I prefer SHIELD too, maybe have SWORD a separate series in the future though after what's to come in the next few Marvel films.
  12. I keep my boxes, all of them, and the spruces, and the emptied sticker sheets, and the instructions, and the cape boxes...
  13. 79,809 pieces and 1781 minifigs according to brickset. And I've only sorted half of it....
  14. rosalind14, I just read it and had to make one, thanks! DC characters?!? I don't think I'd have enough parts plus, I just bought contest of champions, so their no stopping me now! Mwhahahah! Prepare for collective man, le Peregrine, Shamrock, and a whole host of E-Listers! (I kid, possibly ). In all seriousness, I'm looking at making Hawkman, Zatanna, Rocket Red, green arrow and a few others in the future, but not just yet. Rinzler, sounds great! I would've added the belt and web launchers, but I didn't have the time when I made him. I would like to add the blue hood soon available though from the classic spaceship in the Lego movie sets!
  15. Thanks! Strange how some people really, really look like someone, famous or otherwise. I couldn't figure out what to do with the John's head, I was thinking about Professor Horton, the guy who made the original Torch, but I ended up looking through the Secret Invasion graphic novel for a friend. At the back their's this list of well, every named Skrull, and he seemed like an interesting one to make. He certainly sticks out amongst the masks, capes, guns, shields and bladed weapons of my Marvel figures. And your welcome to use my designs, I've had a lot of inspiration from EB, so like I say it's great to give something back, even if it is through a truck load of C and D list Marvel characters! Any suggestions/recommendations? I've still got loads left to post, with more being made at this moment, from the most obvious to the most obscure and everything in between. I've got a Thor and a Hercules to post tonight, plus a 100% non purist Earth 616 Nick Fury, a fig that I'm very, very, proud of (possibly my favourite custom of my entire collection thus far), but I'm always open to any suggestions anybody has!
  16. SPOILERS, read further at your own risk, I haven't seen Cap 2, or any SHIELD episode beyond where it's at on British TV, so what I say may seem incredibly stupid, forgive me, but I must say Nick's a genius. It looks like Hydra wasn't that prepared for it's big reveal, so Nick has, effectively, flushed the system of bad guys out of SHIELD while leaving those he can (possibly) trust, forcing Hydra into the open. I'm also going to say that, due to SHIELD being labelled a terrorist organization, the paperwork to call SHIELD SHIELD again might be a bit too much, I don't know, so perhaps not Agents Of SHIELD, but maybe Agents Of SWORD?
  17. A bit of a botched lot, the original three I was to post where completely inaccurate, so they'll be up later today perhaps. Anyway, the latest in my Marvel universe of minifigures! John Lennon (Skrull) Old Man Logan Count Nefaria Enjoy!
  18. I'm really considering buying some of these bootlegs. I mean some go for 50p on eBay UK, I've got all the official figs up to this year, I've made 350 customs myself, bought numerous customs and well, for not that much I can get a pretty nice FF, a Winter Soldier, Odin, a grey Hulk, GL, Green Arrow, Spidey 2099, Cyclops and so many others. All I'll do is swap the legs, arms, and any of the accessory's possible. I'll hate doing it, honestly, I'd much rather support Lego and the customizers out there, but I'm not made of money, and if someone's going to offer me some great figs for cheap, how can I refuse? I'm a Lego purist, through and through, but where can I go wrong?
  19. 100% agreed. I was bitterly disappointed as I have a Sinister Five now (though Sandman will be made shortly), still, I'm glad they made the classic Ock. Haha, the trike isn't that bad IMO, it's not great but it's greatly improved with a couple of Hellfire club guards hanging of it, pursuing X-Men! I like the design, impractical yes due to the hight, but still OK. A few more: Rick Jones (hailing from 80 years in the future (in 1992/1993 or what ever it is this week on Marvel's rotating time scale) on Earth-9200, AKA Future Imperfect.) Goliath (Eric Josten), AKA Atlas later on. Elektra Improved Vision (still fixing the sticker) Stone Knight (not accurate, I just thought I'd make him with some spares) Enjoy!
  20. Well, they went back and did older films for Harry Potter and as mentioned to some degree in the latest Batman sets, so I could see it perhaps happening, but in the future. Marvel wise, It depends on how far back were looking at, I'd certainly discount the direct to video Cap films from some years back, the Daredevil film, the multitude of Punisher films, Electra, Howard the Duck, the other Nick Furry film, the Hulk films, and the Blade films due to popularity/market fit. That's not saying I wouldn't want a Daredevil set or a classic Nick Furry, just not them versions. Really that leaves the X-Men films, the Cap films, the first two Iron Man films, ASM, and the Thor films. I'd discount X-Men and ASM at least at the moment because they don't seem to have the licence plus, Lego seem really good at making sets related to them films but not from them, thus avoiding licence costs. I do, however, perhaps in 5-7 years, maybe less, maybe more, see a Thor V Destroyer and an Iron Man V Iron Monger sets based on those films. I'm not too knowledgeable about DC, but like the Marvel films I could see sets based on the more popular Batman films. As for Superman? I'm not to sure, we've got Lex, twice, I don't see that side being too different than what we've got. So I'm saying yes, as long as it's different to what we've got at the moment.
  21. Haha, I decided to use him as Iceman back in January! I'm an old fart I guess, but to me Electro isn't Electro if he doesn't have green tights, yellow gloves and boots and a starfish hat. Thanks for the Beast decals. It might be a while before I get to use them (I still have 25 ish figures left to post not to mention stuff I'm working on). But they will be useful, I wanted a "modern" Beast for X Factor after Havok's left that team of mine and joined a new Avengers team I've formed. The face reminds me of him in the SWORD mini series with Gyrich, Brand, and Death's head. Ho, fellow readers (I hope!). Other activities have occupied my attention this week, however, I'm back with more figures (I bet you thought I'd run out by now)! Death's Head (SWORD Appearance, I've got a silver skull lined up but I need to get it first) Iron Man 2020 (boot's to be added soon) Upgraded Beta Ray Thor (the shoulder pads are more accurate and boost his cape up much like many versions of him) Enjoy! P.S I have one more I'll add but I need to quickly change it before uploading.
  22. Fantastic Hawkeye! Sorry to ask again, but what torso did you use? Is it the bus conductor figure from Harry Potter with the torso swapped around? It's perfect either way in my opinion, I may have to "borrow" the idea!
  23. A similar piece though will be coming out later this year, so something similar will be available. Great for the Torch and a number of others!
  24. Ah, I know the one, thanks for that! You certainly have done much better positioning them tentacles, they look more, fluid, alive. Great job!
  25. Nice Carnage! I love the way you did them tentacles, much better than Venom's that Lego made! And I love the head, certainly looks like a mad killer. May I ask, what torso did you use, or is it customized?
