  1. Reminds me of the Minish from the Minish Cap. Cute little build, Ecc.
  2. No AFOL understands Fabuland until someone puts a gun in the Fabu-fig's hands... I see nothing cute about Chima... I'm glad, as I think that would hamper down the action... Panda's are an exception, however. They can be cute and lethal. They are just that epic.
  3. Might I add that Kaliphlin is now a Collection thread. All of those Desert Tycoons showing of their... preciouses...
  4. Didn't get the love...

  5. I did say something about spreading the love, right? Any donations are wonderful, however I will be buying up on foliage (main brand and AltBricks) at Bricks Cascade, the local Lego Convention. I have a special stash set away for that, but don't expect my Challenge VI build to be green. It isn't just dead soldiers in Cedrica...
  6. It's nice to see that the has a different Power-up. Unique cards were a worry for me. The Jungle gates is actually a very good Castle Theme parts pack. I won't be getting multiples, however, due to my plans in Lego spending this year. Also the wheels on the Power-up were around at the earliest in 2003 if not earlier. Nice review.
  7. It seem as if Brickset user wagnerml2 has found polybag 30231 Insectoid at Toys R Us. http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/9355/found-30231-poly-insectoid-at-us-toys-r-us#latest
  8. I have my story all planned out now for Challenge VI. Started the first build and what I have is decent. Not as far along as I should be, but decent. I have to make a Bricklink order soon for parts for a VIP in the Dawn of Ages. Can't really do Challenge VI without him. In summary. I've started, but with studies in the way, I can see it being just a bit more before I really have some things complete.
  9. In the US those polys have yet to be released. Typically they are sold as is, not in a newspaper.
  10. I get this very classic vibe from this MOC. It's very nice. Good MOC.
  11. No, Ewald has his normal head. Expect that to be updated come Summertime. If not, then let's not be surprised of finding confused children... Anyway. Any new Razcal poly info, just2good?
  12. Galactic Titan... $99.99!!! How long has it been since there has been a set that has over 1,000 pieces in it that is priced below $120? Bought upon sight (unless there's Chima at wherever I find it at ) The rest of this theme looks amazing. Can't wait to lay my hands on them!
  13. Money. Why do these things need to cost so much money... $15! This isn't a licensed theme Lego! I think the price will be an extreme deciding factor here. Speedorz vs. CHI Constractions will be the thought of going through kid's minds. Everything else is fine though, and I intend to buy one of each. It's just that I'd rather buy from another theme with that money. Expect me to be one of the last to get these.
  14. I've already voiced my opinions on the Summer sets, so I'll put it this way: Whoever already feels broke, raise your hand! *raises hand* I will say that the Chima Board game looks decent. Glorious parts pack, especially for those aspiring for a full pool of CHI . Did we ever get a price for Worriz Combat Lair?
  15. ^Yes but that is for a different thread. @Wall E There was never any confirmation on the name for the Kimono Ninjas. Energy eXtreme doesn't fit for me. Especially since it does not apply to and energized form.
  16. Well, every season is half one-episode and half multi-episode epic. If the show will continue, I assume that this pattern will continue.
  17. Toy Fair is very much today. People have to get home and upload pictures first. News has been slowly creeping in, but don't expect pictures until later today. You should message the seller. They might be willing to give you the info. Allow me to follow up on this polybag news with my mini reviews on the first three poly sets. Ewar's Acro Fighter was definitely worth it's freebie status, especially from Lego.com and Lego Brand Stores. The build is small and quick (perfect for three-year-olds) and its simple eagle shape is executed nicely enough that you can tell it's an eagle. Out of the three though, it is the worst at looking like the respective animal. Ewar is nothing special if you have Equila. His "helmet" is all that differentiates them both as Equila has light blue feathers on his forehead (not to mention the black rings around the eyeholes), and Ewar has light blue feathers on his side plumes. This was the cheapest way to get Ewar, however. It has been very common for "exclusives" to discontinue earlier than the sets they were released along side of, so if you missed this freebie, and intend to collect all the eagles/the entire theme (of course, not putting into account that the poly might be released again with a promotion or for sale), then it would be good the get Razar's CHI Raider, especially being that Ewar is not present in the Summer sets. Leonidas' Jungle Dragster was the most expensive of the polybags, being that it was released (in the US) at Toys 'R' Us (do not shop there unless you know you can save money! ) It is no larger than the Acro Fighter, but it does much better at looking like an animal, albeit a deformed one. The Lion head is however mostly a dark bley 2x2 jumper plate, and with a view from above you could probably never tell it was a lion. Leonidas is... Leonidas. There isn't too much to say about him as he is the least fanciful looking. He is also available in two of the cheapest sets available at the moment with Crawley's Claw Ripper and CHI Waterfall, not to mention also being available in the most expensive, Cragger's Command Ship. He is the most common Lion to get, and it appears that he will not be included in the summer wave as well. Minifig collectors will save money on this one, but if you can't make it to the store that sells it, there are more sets that should suffice. Now Winzar's Pack Patrol is quite different. It's a sled... in a jungle... who cares. It's my favorite of these three polys. You once again get a deformed animal head as a vehicle, but this one you can clearly tell is a wolf, even with a huge gap on it's "snout." Winzar is very nice. The scars make him look very viscious. however the scars on the "helmet" do not line up with the ones on his head. It should still works fine as it still looks like three complete scars. This is the cheapest way to get Winzar, and runs at the wonderfully cheap price Target always has on their polys. Winzars other appearance at the moment is in Wakz' Pack Tracker, with Ice Tower coming later this Spring. Yet again, Winzar will not be available in the Summer, so minifig collectors take note. Ewar's Acro Fighter: 6/10 Not very creative design for the Eagle shape, okay minifig. Leonidas' Jungle Dragster: 7/10 Nice little car, but really ANOTHER Leonidas. Winzar's Pack Patrol: 9/10 There does seem to be something to be desired from this, but its fantastic nonetheless. Thanks for reading!
  18. It wasn't the beavers that really caught my eye. It was the kids that were aboard the plane chariot thingy. It was Plomar, Skinnet, Furty, G'loona, and an (as of yet) unnamed wolf! I wonder why the decision was made to make Skinnet and Furty taller in the sets, and leave G'loona short. Also if you look behind Cragger and Laval while they race on their Speedorz, you'll see the Eagle Castle (set). Here's hoping the CHI Raider and the Ultra Striker will appear in the show.
  19. WAKEY, WAKEY, CHIMA THREAD! Found Winzar's Pack Patrol at the local target!! Now that I have all three of the US polys that were available in the past couple months, I believe it's time to do another mini-review.
  20. Well this poor chap has only two dragon Knights, and a couple of Rascus' from KKII. Suppose you all could send some this way as well?
  21. This set is a much better choice for Gold pieces. It also has a better assortment of gold pieces. The Temple of Light doesn't have near as many good pieces. In other words, if you want to stock up on gold pieces, buy two Golden Dragons rather than one Temple of Light. Very good review Lord LOLrus.
  22. @Ska Being that I'm sending my Sigfig, you probably need a picture. A good picture of Owlan is on the first page of the Avalonia Guild (Im too busy to take a face front photo for the time being). He will be arriving wearing his usual armor and pendant. If you feel that his armor is lacking (being that you are lacking the parts required to build him) he will gladly accept any armor he is given. He does prefer a sword however. Handing him a bow would be no where near wise. He has very, very little skill in that area.
  23. Any doubts I had in this portion of the LoC theme has been destroyed. I want them now! All of them! Razar, Worriz, and Gorzan are my top three.
  24. I have over heard your sad situation from some fools who didn't keep their mouth shut. Soon the University will be aflame with it! If a false-Avalonian took life, then an Avalonian will help make it right. Owlan will gladly join your mission to Cedrica to purify the world of this wretched wizard! (My character may not be Kaliphlin, but know that he will serve you well)
  25. Please Susan Jr. By all means TAKE YOUR FLIPPIN' TIME. It would be disheartening for the rest of us if you became the first premature winner the Guild's have ever had. It's too beautiful. So when should we expect the life-size Helm's Deep? You obviously have a hoard of the set.
