I'll probably post a big thread here at the end with the whole Alphabet. Some I don't like and I'll go back and redo. But of course! I mostly build Star Wars Starship. They tend to all be minifigure scale and highly playable. Just the way I would have wanted them when I was younger.

From my brain. I'm doing the "Alphabet Wings". Excluding the already offcial set ones (A,B, X, & Y).

I've built one of these too. They had it labeled as the L-Wing. So I'm glad to see it by another name. I like the front of yours more then mine.

It's a nice cross between a speeder bike and a BSG Viper.

Ok here's the update version I hope it's ok to have double posted since it's an update. If not please merge. Updated: H-Wing for those that might want to see it in Republic Red. ;)

Many of you on this forum don't know me that well so I'm just a little fish here. But here's my opinion: As a designer, if you want to build something that can actually move it's easier to build with technic peices and build a shell around it afterwards. A classic and real life version of this is a car. There are all these technical/mechanical parts assembled to make a machine and then we cover them with molded and shaped pieces to give them a certain look and to interface with the organic operator. I believe the same is now being done, more then they used to, to bring increased realness to “playing” with Lego. This is sometimes referred to as “playability”.

I love green so just for guys I'll take some shots with other colors before I rip it apart.

The H-Wing: This Heavy Escort Class Fighter is heavily shielded. Designed to take heavy fire this ship is slow moving in its escort position. However energy can be diverted from its shields to its 8 sub-light engines. This allows the craft to be come extremely maneuverable at sub-light speeds. Ship includes: 8 sub-light engines, 1 ERJ-Hyper-drive (Emergency Random Jump – On board navigation computer maintains an emergency Hyper Jump button. However this option is only usable for about 96% of an average flight mission and where you jump to is well completely random.), 4 missiles, 2 harpoons, 1 ion pulse cannon, a long range communications array, small cargo hold, and seats 2. Looks good even with the green. I'd work on creating a less destracting back ground.

Ah very good advice. I have lots to do in the next few days and weeks I'll try to fix 'er up a little before the contest closes. Arrrg!

First, thanks for the tips everyone. Sadly I don't have pirate torsos but I'll see what I can do. Also yes the cannons are brick built. Third, it's not a mast but I see how it looks like that (must work on that). Fourth "contradicts usual mooring rope systems" Wow. Ok I'm screwed if you guys are looking at things like that. I get sea sick, so "usual mooring rope systems" is not part of my everyday life. Finally, I'll see if I can clean up the boat and stones for you guys. And yes I've been down many coble streets and stone docks in 3rd world countries before, they do have many shades of color in them. I think in Haiti they even had some human blood. However that being said I'm off camping for the weekend so look for updates around Monday or Tuesday. Thanks Everyone.

Ah thanks. It didn't bother me until someone said I should change it. Then I find out I can't. Seems weird they would have told me to change if they knew I couldn't.

So someone recommend that I change the discription from Shipwreck Island to something else. However I can't find where to do that so sorry it is going to have to stay. But if you're a MOD and can do it... It should be, "The Collector".

Thanks everyone for your comments and ideas. This is actually my first Pirate MOC ever. I was entering my dark ages when the pirate theme was started. So I went out and bought a pirate since I didn't even own any. If I don't win I wouldn't be surprised since I have never really built anything in this theme, a few medieval boats as a kid. I thought the implied violence would be funny enough. Apparently not! So I'll repost a new entry in the original post (If that's ok?) with plenty of obscene content.

Yep. Like I said plenty of things wrong with it. I need to build up my white brick collection before I try this again. Mars Mission sets here I come! I am a fast builder. With no kids and a wife that works long shifts. Lots of time to myself. Compared to what? It's wind span is about 2-2.5 feet. And its' maybe 18 inches long. A little longer then the last Y-wing if that helps.
