Actually it is very close to scale to the S01E05 "Rookies" Landing craft that appeared several times during that episode. Note around minute 14 1/2 that the front opens up and only about a dozen droids fill the main entry which appears to be an elevator rather then an MTT.

Yeah KimT you didn't hear the ranting over on the CABG in my WIP thread. I quickly noticed I was running out of pieces and I was't going to be able to build it as big as I wanted. So yes I had to use some old faded yellow grey pieces.

Sadly I was running out of pieces very quickly as I was beginning to build it and realized I was going to have to builder it smaller then I wanted. As far as weight? I don't have a scale in the house but I guess about 40 lbs at least and I can still pick it up without straining so it's probably less then 70lbs. As far as number of pieces I'm not going to waste the time to count. The Trade Federation MTT measures 16" (41 cm) long and 10" (25 cm) high and has around 1000 pieces, I think, and it fits inside. As far as where did I get all the pieces: The total sum of a collection of 3 brothers, a wife's small collection, and almost 10 yrs. of grossly spending too much money on Lego as AFOL.

Excellent work. I haven't seen pictures of this craft before much less in Lego form. Glad to see it was built well. I hate seeing canon stuff that looks like it was shot out of a cannon.

Separatist Landing Craft: Clones Beware! Well here she comes. After 30+ plus hours the Separatists are landing. "Clone Commanders take cover!" Some of you may recognize this smaller version from the new TV series. Thank you Lucas for making it smaller and grey! :o MOC includes: 100 droids, 4 smaller vehicles (Including: TLC's MTT & Droid Carrier), 1 separatist alien scum bag, and of course our favorite villainess Ventress. Wow. I'm a great ship builder. I have a huge collection and this just makes my heart sink. I have about 5-15 more years before I'll have enough pieces to be able to even attempt a build like this. Just amazing.

All in good time. It does have dark blue on it and 2 CIS Logos. There's only about 8 dark blues pieces though. In the TV episode there is no dark blue so I didn't want to add too much and make it unrealistic.

Yes the arms side in and out. I always try to build playable ships. The problem with this one of course is have the minifigure scale Ventor to go with it.

Yep. That's what makes it more believable. It does look like other things from the Stars Wars Universe. Therefore you can recognize it s being Star Wars.

Not a stupid question. It's actually asked pretty regularly. I have 2 rooms. 1 for show that houses all of the Offical Star Wars Minifigure Scale Sets and another (the basement) which I've nicknamed "The Lab". Everything down there lasts for about 2-24hrs. Rarely does anything not get recycled right away. Sometimes I won't if I'm waiting for feedback on what I should change in the MOC. Well many of them aren't "Republic" Ships. The main reason for many of them being called "Republic" is because I'm an Administrator for the CABG, and we're all about the Clone Era. Sometimes it's a real stretch of the imagination to call something "Republic".
