The two small sets, Cloud Cuckoo Palace, Super Cycle Chase and LB Lair seem to be the most popular to me, judging by my trips to various stores.- 2,626 replies

The bank truck looks too slim and long, making it have a really awkward aesthetic. Even though it's only $20, I'd still get the Captain set over it. All exclusive and interesting minifigures, plus a vehicle with unique design and olive green color.

Such a shame, especially since LEGO can do short-sleeve printing on minifgure arms it'd be perfect to reintroduce the themes with updated versions of SpongeBob, Squidward and Mr. Krabs (Though you can make Spongebob better with the new Homer minifigure's arms).

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion

Johnny Thunder is really cool to represent a LEGO character as a Master-Builder. I agree that Lloyd should've been replaced with GL, since GL did have an appearance in the scene this set will be recreating.- 2,626 replies

I believe I saw him a few times (very quickly in the background). - A scene where a police ship shined a light on him while he was walking on a billboard ledge. - In the dog dome behind Marsha. - Running toward the screen for a brief second holding a whip and pistol in the Cuckoo land destruction scene. - Riding a horse during Emmet's/the boy's speech to LB/ The man from upstairs. I agree GL should've been in the dropship over Green Ninja. He had a notable role with the ship (Superman and the bubble gum). It has 706 pieces or so, so I'd say between 60-70 dollars. -

Did he come in a box with the video game or were the videogame and baggie separate? -
What I meant is I don't think official designs are allowed to do that.

Well, Angry Kitty is coming out this summer, but I understand the excitement. Great work; she looks even more evil than her official figure.

LEGO Ultra Agents 2014
bekindsorewind replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hurricane Heist looks like something relatively new and interesting in terms of action themes, so no complaint there. Gives the theme its own "identity" in a way than being a rehash of the past theme. The small ball joints are an ingenious way for sturdy yet easy locks for the truck to open and close. -
Looks really cool and makes me think of an alt build for the set. Only thing holding it back would be some of the illegal techniques (the spear "exhaust").

LEGO Ultra Agents 2014
bekindsorewind replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I still find it funny a certain LEGO website assumed nobody would like these sets because of their "random" designs or whatever, but it looks like the reception, for the most part, is pretty positive. The truck itself looks to be a big improvement over the first Agents HQ, and the sets themselves have a lot of variety in aesthetics and play features. They aren't all blues and blacks and we get some pretty fun minifigures with magenta and green hair, as well as some wacky supervillains. -
Marvel sets are coming in March as well, I believe.

With all the new sets coming out in March (coincidentally SH!) it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to drop $75.

Thanks for the pics! The icy legs makes me think they're "thawing" in a sense. Pretty cool, but it's kinda lame there's no icy version for the other leg in one of the minifigures. It looks like we're getting vultures, mammoths, tigers, sabertooth tigers, and phoenixes. The mammoths are a little too much for me personally, but I'm sure fans will enjoy them greatly. The phoenix temple looks to have nothing but new tribe figures as well as a phoenix king (I think...). Should be an incentive for fans of the theme.
