  1. I also didn't know what the Lone Ranger was, only heard the name once, but that's all. So it's a western and a license theme, so more fleshies! (I almost only have fleshies, always collected Star Wars and now LOTR/Hobbit and maybe this theme if it's a nice one). If you change all the fleshies, do you use the simple face heads alot (whith just the eyes and the smile) or do you also have alot of doubles?
  2. In the picture you also see lots of awesome Star Wars sets who aren't released either. But we only have hope until we have a real confirmation that we will have a second LOTR wave (those Gondor soldiers look really good in the game so it would be a shame if they don't produce them )
  3. Yeah you are right, those characters are actually not so important (in the movies that is, in the books Imrahil and Beregrond play a more important role)
  4. Both Imrahil (Lord of Dol Amroth, you see him also when Gandalf and Faramir enter Minas Tirith, he wears a black cape) and Theodred (son of Theoden who dies after an attack by the Uruk-Hai, after which Eomer shows a helmet with the white hand on to Theoden) are seen in the normal movies, Beregond is from the books if I remember correctly. It actually doesn't matter if I don't have some characters ingame, as long as I get the Elrond minifigure
  5. WOW! This looks really great! All those details from the movies (books) are amazing Congrats with the 3rd place
  6. Thank you
  7. Thanks guys!
  8. Although I have to agree with frogstudio, I do have to say that the end result looks kinda good, especially the castle (the burning gave it a ruined look, like it was tainted by nature during a long period of time and it decayed slowly).
  9. Hi, In the stickied topic "Detailed guide to building a medieval village" if you scroll a bitt down, Cadarnold Schwarzenegger gives some photographs and tips how to make such beautiful grounds and rockformations. I hope this helped you a bitt EDIT: and even a waterfall
  10. Thank you Yea it's maybe a good idea I make them a bitt different so they don't look like twins Thanx for the advice .
  11. Yea I know, but it's possible what they let us see in the game that they will produce in reallife? The Fellbeast kinda looks like a possible lego version (the legs etc.). EDIT: if you look closely you can see the gondor soldiers wearing there normal shields (round on top and below)
  12. Looks great! Thanks for showing Eowyn and the Witch King look fantastic So a moulded Fellbeast and Mumak?
  13. Your Smaug looks really good Also great idea to use the gold foil, works out perfectly Would be very cool to have such a dragon (maybe you could put it on CUSSOO?)
  14. WOW! This looks amazing! Great to see all kinds of little details and especially the scenes from the film (Aragorn talking to Arwen, Sam talking to Frodo, ...) I also like your waterfalls. We can only hope that TLG would make such a beautiful Imladris set (even if it's just the buildings)
  15. This looks very good. It looks very cute too. I especially like how you made the geisha kneeling down and the ninja jumping move with the legs
  16. Thanx you all very much! Yeah it really does look bigger on the photographs I'll probably expand it later on with some more (maybe 2) halls. I just don't know what I could put into those halls though (a smithy, or maybe a front gate with some green in front to have a bitt more color?). .
  17. Thank you all for the kind words It's actually not that big (compared to most of the other MOC's ), I used two 48x48 baseplates.
  18. Hello all, I humbly present to you my very first MOC: The Throne Room of the Lonely Mountain (Erebor) . After 5 years of being in a "dark period" and because of the release of the new LEGO LOTR sets, I again discovered my passion for the lego brick. Had been lurking on Eurobricks for some weeks when I got inspired by all the very nice LOTR and other Historical MOC's so I couldn't resist to start building a first MOC myself. I like the dwarfs and their architecture so I decided to build one of their Halls: Erebor and Khazad-Dûm had been done before but mostly in a destroyed form (the Mines of Moria and Erebor with Smaug and the treasure). Erebor is going to be present in the upcoming Hobbit trilogy so I thought it would be fun to do something with that . The first hall and entrance of the Throne Room: A little well in the middle so the Dwarves have water to drink (and not just beer ) The Axemen stand Guard at the Great Gate: They gladly open the gates for esteemed visitors: The King's Guard protects him with there lives: Dáin II Ironfoot, King under the Mountain and Lord of the Iron Hills on his throne (and he always has his personal treasure closeby ) King Dáin holding the Arkenstone and accompenied by one of his Raven friends: Overview of the Throne Room: And a second overview of the Throne Room: More photos on Brickshelf (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=511010) I hope you'll like it and C&C is always welcome! Greetings, Moexy P.S. Sorry for the quality of the photos, also first time I tried to take photos of LEGO .
  19. Wow those soldiers look great especially there shield Would be better tho if they wore armor like the uruk-hai, but maybe they are going to do that with some sort of elite soldiers or maybe like the white hand armor in the orc forge set. Thanx for the pics EDIT: there helm's are also great actually
  20. Looks really great! I especially like the bridge and towers It also looks really (lotr) dwarvish, like in the game Battle for middle earth 2.
  21. They are available (LOTR and MF) at the online shop of Dreamland (Belgian Retailstore). Ok, same price then. But looks like they also have no Orc Forge
  22. The LOTR-sets are available on the Belgian official Lego website's webshop Good to know, thanx for the good news 9469 Gandalf™ Arrives 16,99 € 9470 Shelob™ Attacks 29,99 € 9471 Uruk-hai™ Army 39,99 € 9472 Attack on Weathertop™ 69,99 € 9473 The Mines of Moria™ 89,99 € 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep™ 139,99 € 9476 The Orc Forge 49,99 € Wouldn't those prices be cheaper in retail stores like Dreamland? they are pricy tho! Maybe tommorrow they are available in stores (august 1st release date?)
  23. Same goes for Belgium, haven't seen anything here yet I do hope they are released soon (hopefully the first week of august)
  24. Seeing this awesome bag end set makes the waiting for the lotr sets almost unbearable! Hopefully they come out in Belgium at the end of this month and not in August
  25. "For the belgian fans, I just received the confirmation from the LEGO PR Manager Nordic Benelux (which is a really kind person) who says that all the LOTR sets will be available in August." - Posted by jikamuseum on Brickset today. Now we finally have a decent confirmation of a "release" here in Belgium Although there are some people who say some sets are already avaiable in Holland.
