  1. Same for me, maybe because of the scenes we already saw in the lotr trilogy or more likely because it is an actual complete set (a bitt like the Lego Helm's Deep version is). The Barrel Escape set would be better (in my opinion) if it was an actual 'complete' set (even if it was only the cellar/prison part) with more walls etc. But there is no doubt that I will buy all off the sets tho
  2. Thank you
  3. Amazing build! Very nice to see that you made (used) an Eye of Sauron flag Have never seen the sword that the orc in front of the ranger is holding, from which set is that (or is it custom made)? That sword looks really orcish like btw
  4. Great build! Looks really like a Trojan house. Those wooden sticks sticking out of the wall make this build complete
  5. A masterpiece indeed! When I saw this, I immediatly emailed some of my friends (who are not on eurobricks) with a link to this awesome build They all agreed and said that this was a magnificent build. There are too much cool things too sum up, but I if I have to pick something, the moving parts (especially the guards guarding the entrance of the palace) EDIT: I felt sorry for that poor dead mouse outside the citywall with all that blood
  6. Great build! Nice to see the old eygptian theme wall ornaments used in this building
  7. I'm a fan off your creations, they all look better then what TLG produces. Hopefully we'll be getting a new update soon
  8. Wow this is fantastic! If this was a real set I would instantly buy it, no matter what the cost (not TOO much offcourse ).
  9. Today I got the last set of the lotr line (9469 - Gandalf arrives) This line is fantastic btw! Also got the Medieval Market Village (I think it fits really well in with the lotr line, with those houses and some Bagend sets you could make Bree or Staddle from) today and auto with that my first lego cows
  10. Definetly better then the TLG version That's a clever way! Gonna try it out immediatly Btw that's the troll head off Harry Potter, right? EDIT: not the troll head OFF Harry Potter , but in the bathroom/toilet set?
  11. Wow! This looks good! Like everyone else I like how you used those Death Star spheres That lightbrick is also a nice feature that makes it even more awesome
  12. I like the look of the sets, but somehow it feels less then the lotr line Those wargs and elves look great tho
  13. Those Old Republic sets took me back into star warsagain, actually really looking forward to the tor BP (those republic troops look great!) That AT-RT looks great (even it is a bitt large compaired to the minifigs). right away on my shopping list (maybe gone buy two of them, if the price is ok). The Umbaran MHC look relatively small compared to the figs, but doesn't matter, I like the look of it and TLG did a great job sticking with the tv version. I actually like those Umbarans even with those helmets Those planet sets look better then the other series before, coruscant is bitt of a downer and that asteroid field ... Gonna buy them anyway tho, except the asteroid field Hopefully my wallet can handle these Star Wars sets and all of the Hobbit sets
  14. Thank you! You made a good point there I forgot about that one
  15. True , haven't thought about that actually, I could use Boromir his face and maybe some bearded faces from star wars (Qui Gon's face for example). Thanx for the advice
  16. Thanx Well, I used the torso's of the Hobbits (and their fleshie heads) and I find their torso's not really dwarflike (they don't have the armorlike design like Gimli), so I used the armor to cover up their torso's. Because of the armors I can't use the dwarven beards So in my imagination they tucked their beards in their armors to protect them so the goblins can't cut them off
  17. Thank you! Yea initially it wasn't my goal, I tried to not photograph the walls actually
  18. I'm really looking forward how LEGO will do the Great Goblin But Bolg looks kinda weird, Dwarf-Orc Hybrid? EDIT: That Grinnah creature looks like a big naked Gremlin
  19. Hi, I don't know if this has been posted before but these scenes look more extended then the ones in the second trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fZKdRLS1fk4
  20. Thanx!
  21. This looks really well! It's nice to see how he did the roofs on the gatehouse/towers so that you can open them I like those signs in front of the butcher and the fishseller and those cheese wedges are a nice detail on the towers too Great job!
  22. Sorry, but it has been said before some post back...
  23. At the end you see the Great Goblin falling down on the dwarfs (that fat naked horrible looking creature ) EDIT: It could be a troll, but look what he has on his head -> a crown
  24. Looks very good, great work! This is one is packed with details It's nice how you incorporated the darkgray boxes as part of the colums
