  1. Very good diorama - the roof is pretty good. And I like your creation of the different minifig characters!
  2. Fine scene - great dragon head and great rockwork!
  3. This is my favourite so far. An excellent build, with very clear design. Very well done!
  4. Thanks. It has become a bit too colourful in the end... So, I am learning a lot. Thanks - a lot of things to answer: a) Yes, the garden looks nice b) I have not reused the small fountain. It is a new creation (borrowing some ideas from the other). c) You noticed the black treasure chest in the midst of all the turmoil? Well done! d) The ostriches are actually sparing the flowers! e) The TM was a little fun for myself. It was not done in superscript but today it appears this way - nice surprise for me too. f) In the first version, the fire mage was creating blue magic flames ... which did not look so good and did not create contrast to the other magic. So, the magic flame thrower TM came in handy. Appreciated! The building is my little greek/roman reference... Yepp! Thanks! It is the biggest action scene I have created so far! Thanks - last picture shows that it could have been beautiful... Ska made me do it! Thanks!
  5. That is from an old "orient adventure" set... 7418 Fine build, the scene/action is fantastic. As for the building, I like the "chinese" part.
  6. Brilliant counter - and I thought that GA could not be countered!
  7. The banana picture is superb! The "other picture" is ...
  8. Thanks! The background has been reused several times now. (And the Wookies are brand new!! ) ....ok...(see below) ...ok, I give up. I declare this build to be an island! Thanks for noticing! (and for not mentioning the island...) Yepp, I also started to like this guy. He is coming back in most of my current MOCs.
  9. ... how funny... oh, sorry... Fine small scenes!
  10. The "Scarlet Magnolia"? Fine, ok!
  11. Thanks. About the details on the wall: Here's a true story. My younger son once took a book that contained a mapping between hierogplyphics and the alphabet - and he started to transcribe what was written there. (I had never thought about deciphering that stuff.) And he came up with a solution which was - in hindsight - pretty obvious. You may want to try yourself. This should work. Great - it was fun for me too.
  12. Fine counter - seems kind of logical that something like this would happen.
  13. Fantastic pipe organ - and great that you came up with this totally new and different idea!
  14. Another cute monster - I'm a fan of Swampy! Should you need more brick separators ... don't call me...
  15. Hail to the desert king! Fine build!
  16. The serpent does not look nasty - it's a cutie! Very lovely monster!
  17. Not quite what I had expected... nice mosaic!
  18. What a beautiful building - very well done!
  19. A bit early - or well in time for the deadline : my entry for the Desert King: Going down in flames - The Fall of Xersia
  20. Hooray! Desert King troops have managed to destroy the source of power of the First Centurion! In a fierce battle the defenders were defeated: A large part of the battle raged in the garden of the Celestial Palace: The brave DK fighters (supported by Mounted Ostrich Bowmen) were excited about their victory. The defenders (dis-)appeared in the usual way... Key to the victory was ... ... the Desert King's fire mage ... ... who destroyed the artefact of the First Centurion with his magic flame thrower . The magic monument, that had been beaming with yellow thaumaturgical energy, came crashing down in flames. When its magic died, a loud, unearthly scream was heard through the gardens of the palace... C&C welcome.
  21. Maybe I'll bring them up again in future MOCs! I'm ok with my pics... well, reflections are troubling me. I never thought you had lighting issues. Your pics look perfect to me. Ok, it is not meant to be a desert island - it is my take at an irregular base... The landscape is quite barren if not for the tree...
  22. Fine build! But maybe King Flickr's tyranny is not so bad after all - Lord Brickshelf is down again...
