  1. It's an artefact so yes. It's 1 vs 5 with 2 healers so a turn so swap them wouldn't be too drastic.
  2. 'Yes, my lord.' Don't think I didn't notice the Star Wars reference. "Stunning people I can do." Dreyrugr attacks Zasies from the front row.
  3. Dreyrugr smiles. "Thanks." Well what do you know. He wants to complete the quest more than wanting to kill me. "I'm ready anytime."
  4. "I wouldn't do anything to alter a fight except in my favour, murderers or not. The fact is she seems willing to fight against all of us at once. And she already seems to know we aren't amateurs in battle. Makes you wonder how strong she is doesn't it?"
  5. "I heard she threw someone through a wall. 'Friendly contest-of-arms'? Interesting way to put it. And is it really all of us against just her? Despite the stories I'd still say it seems rather unfair. Either way, lead the way."
  6. "Oh do shut up. As much as you might hate me we have both been hired for the same job. If you really hate me so much the door's right over there. If you can put up with me then shut up. Yes I grabbed some of the Necromancer's stuff while efficiently slicing him and if you're worried about contamination I'm wearing gloves." I don't care about people hating me but I can always walk away from them unlike right now. Hopefully that gets Pretzel to shut it. "Now Nessa, you've been searching for an opal and now it's over. Erik, Sylph and Pretzel, all of you can have a bone. This robe seems pretty worn out and both of you who can use it already have something better. Pretzel, I'll give this to you. If you want to give it to Sylph then go ahead." Dreyrugr hands an opal to Nessa, a bone to Erik, Syplh and Pretzel along with the robe of the magi to Pretzel. "Here Erik, thanks for the sword." Dreyrugr gives voltedge back to Erik and then inspects the skeleton and picks up the staff???? on the chest. After doing that Dreyrugr inspects the bones of the summon to see if he could determine what it was.
  7. "I agree with Erik on this but we have time to discuss this later." Dreyrugr pulls out his old Scythe and attacks the Heckpup from the front row.
  8. Dreyrugr puts his shield up in front of him expecting a powerful blow from the Necromancer after seeing how his summon dealt with both the monk and Erik. Better safe then sorry. Finding no blow coming Dreyrugr aims to finish the Necromancer from the front row.
  9. You underestimate the Necromancer, even if you were standing far away from him to reduce damage he'd have just fired a spell at you. Distance doesn't matter with those so I believe I just saved you from being hit. If you have complaints about that not looking after the team enough then nothing I do will be positive in your eyes." But we already knew that last part. "Well you angel didn't attack me. Infact it looked like she would've saved me had I come into trouble. Are you sure I'm as evil as you think I am?" With talking back at Pretzel out of the way Dreyrugr prepares to lunges at Vaughn from the front row once more.
  10. Dreyrugr noticing the necromancers speed throws his net at Vaughn from the back row.
  11. "It might be Ethereal but it seems to have an icy disposition which would make it normal."
  12. Can't say I expected it to work. Erik should be at double health due to being inspired. "You're deaf aren't you. I mentioned Blue Assassins which would leave you out of it unless you are a Blue Assassin. And you would dare attack a being blessed by Helvetia. Your a pious man aren't you. Either way you chose option 2." "I'd argue that he still uses his old axe. It seems to have a garnet which will cancel out any other immunity the enemy might have and facing a huge axe any enemy would be petrified in fear." Pulling the sword off his back Dreyrugr attacks Vaughn from the front row. Ok 1 in 216 chance of Erik finishing this on his first attack lets see you go. Edit: Net (1 in 3 chance of cancelling enemy hastened effect, 1 in 3 chance of screwing me over) Feedback?
  13. He's very trusting of someone he just met. Let's see how this turns out. Dreyrugr walks in intimidatingly. He puts the flat of voltedge over his shoulder to make himself more fearsome. He flashes his fangs for good measure while slowly speaking in a terrifying voice to let each of his words sink in. "Hello there Necromancer, I've been trying to get to you for a while. I wanted to meet a man named Rorik but he has been killed, possibly by Blue Assassins. You have two choices, tell me everything you might know or can help us with, or........." Dreyrugr turns his head slightly to look at the sword on his shoulder. "Well I'm sure you can figure the rest out. Some people don't choose the first option, as for their survival rate......" Dreyrugr's smiles evilly to emphasis his last sentence.
  14. "Well we have no leads so there's nothing to lose by asking him. Should I intimidate him for an answer? He's obviously scared locking himself in here and it probably wouldn't take much to push him for an answer but if I'm not successful there will be no room for quiet negotiations. It might be better if one of you with a friendlier tongue try him first" Dreyrugr silently whispered back.
  15. Dreyrugr whispered back "Judging by the state of this room I'd say unlikely." If he gave the skeleton on the door a name I guess it must have intelligence, yet he let us in anyway. Strange.
  16. Agreed, Nessa and Karie would be interesting to see. Leave Dreyrugr out of it though. Although if it did happen I could see him not caring less. He might be slightly annoyed if he ended up in a weaker body though.
  17. I guess that's dedication in its own way. "I am ready to enter when everyone else is."
  18. Pressure much? "I'm backing up the monk's answer, ignoring the part where he is paying attention to monsters with higher than average vitality."
  19. "Notice it didn't ask them to be equally devastating so I'd go with the monks idea."
  20. Well the riddle says that the dragon is fiery so I took it as just that, while nothing is mentioned about mountain goat as in its type so you have to find another source for that.
  21. Old fart? If I was his master wouldn't he be in trouble for that? "Ruby, aquamarine, garnet and opal." Ooc: Dammit. Sniped but different answer.
  22. "Thank you. Very nice sword. A bit heavier than I'm used to." Dreyrugr accepts the sword and equips it. "I've already submitted my answer to the riddle. Now just to wait and see if the door will respond." Dreyrugr then looks inside his bag. The only things that look potentially useful were the venoms he had. These venoms are weak. Although it's better than nothing. Might make the enemy flinch a little. Dreyrugr envenoms voltedge.
  23. "I'm going to assume you've been here a while therefore we can guess as many times as we like. And what exactly does it mean by 'of the latter'." Edit: Because I've figured out what it meant. "I'd say ice, wood, earth and lightning."
  24. "Neither is mine so we'll have to mix and match. Here you can borrow my hood. I'd figured it would come in handy again."
  25. Dreyrugr whistled. "I'll remember to stay on her good side. Hmmmm. Bar fights, different species, powerful tenants. It's not much but I might be able to make a story with this. Thank you good sir." Dreyrugr gives the bard another coin. "Exercise? I probably should, there aren't many times one has to opportunity to keep their fighting skills sharp and you never know when that next bandit attack will come. It was mostly business but it was nice talking with you bard." Dreyrugr walks with Erik out of earshot. "Necromancer? Demon Hunter? Probably explains the welcoming I got. Hmmmmm, unlikely as it seems do you think that the Demon Hunter would allow us a brief use of the necromancers services. It really would be useful for us if dead men DID tell tales." Dreyrugr leaves Erik and goes to see Nessa still talking with the orange creature. Dreyrugr walks past and whispers "Necromancer, uptairs" before he continues to the stairs and travels up to the next floor to wait.
