Oh great. I didn't see a single one of the pictures. I'm going to assume they are good... Since I don't know anything at all about POP, are there any vehicles, or is it all building/landscape stuff?
-
You are saying that is when the next season starts? I just got into Lost at the start of this year (09), and I absolutley love it. Don't have any DVD's of the seasons yet, but Christmas is not too far away...

That is more likely to be the answer. Problem here is that you state your hopes for the set right after your main statement in the post. To me, that makes it sound like your hopes could be affecting your opinions. (Just some advice) I know for a fact there is something there, but that's called 'Box-art.'
-
Wow, I might actually buy some of these sets now. That visor looks really useful, along with a lot of parts on the vehicle there.

What does FTW mean? I've seen it in some members' posts, and it's annoying because it makes me feel stupid by not knowing.
-
I admit that I was wrong due to the rediculous photography of TLG. Nice, wrong and right at the same time. That's a new one for me. I was beginning to think I would have to actually take a comparison pic of two minifigs with opposite facing parts.
-
That is a very good point. it would be a good parts pack, but the Clone Battlepack just steals the show when compared.
-
That's what I was talking about, and it got me really confused on how big the figs actually are.
-
That is the picture I was looking at. I think they might have taken individual shots of the figs, then compiled all of the shots together here, which makes The Prospector's torso look bigger than the Little Green Aliens' torso, for example.EDIT: Nevermind, I think the Prospector has a regular body, that picture has all of the figs in completely different sizes. This is extremely confusing... The breastplate/shoulderpad thing backwards on a minifig. That's the best way I can possibly put it without taking a picture. I just want to know how that would look.
-
A Troll-like mold could very well be possible. And upon staring at the pictures for a very long time, I'm almost positive the torsos are a tad bigger than standard torsos. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. I mean you take off the head, take off the cape, and then flip that big bulky breastplate around so it is facing behind Zurg. I've sucessfully used parts that way in MOCs before.

Again. I had no idea there was a Mon Calamari up there.... I must have just walked in, enjoyed the ride, and walked out with no stops in between.

Anybody heard from Apache? He hasn't replied about our current trade for a while now...

The Who replied to woody64's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wow, that's awesome. This saves the trouble of me having to make custom ones now, so I have definitely got to order from Shapeways soon.Woody, I noticed there is now an option of having them made in (Polished?) Stainless Steel. Could you please try out that option on this helmet, and show us how it comes out? It would be much appreciated. -
From what we can see, it looks good. What I was hoping for as ruins though, was something kind of like this, but under water:
-
There might be a spring mechanism inside that thing that you pull a lever/bar back, let go, and it fires. Maybe...
-
The closest a large vehicle in an official set has ever come to being 100% Minifig Scale was the UCS Falcon.

That was my point. They may well bring back Trains, but just because there are some in this theme does not immediately make this a sign of that revival. (Wow, that sounded weird; Sign of the Times. ) That's what makes me think he might even be brick built, but I really hope not, even though it would be more pink bricks for us. He could just be one of those new Jumbo-Torso's/Arms like Woody has, but I still think something else is needed to make him a little more rounded, like an actual Teddy Bear. I'm pretty sure that we've seen those, but thanks anyway. (Might not have seen them in that good of quality...?)Off-Topic: I wonder how cool Zurg's breastplate will look backwards, and if those horns can come off...

Soldiers on Patrol...That's an interesting name for the 'battlepack.' What I love about Lego is that you will never have the problem of immobile legs or big green bases getting in the way of the Army Men driving those jeeps. I don't know what to think of Lotso. I kind of hope he is a minifigure, be he would have to be one with a Chewbacca styled headpiece, I think, to better show the 'Teddy Bear' resemblence. Just an FYI, one regular train set and one Duplo does not necessarily mean they are reviving Trains.

Jabba's Sail Barge.

He knows that, computerbug.

Seriously? Please tell me you're joking. Nothing personal to Megablocks, but MB could never match the quality of official Lego sets, we would have to customize every fig into a Lego minifig, and a lot of MB parts do not exist in Lego, so the instructions could not always be used for building with Lego parts.
-
Wow, this is interesting. I was expexting a bunch of tan and light blue building with heiroglyphs on every wall, but I guess this will do. If nothing else, the figs will definitely be a useful addition to MOCs. We should propably be seeing Prince of Persia prelims soon then...

Oh. Oops. I had memorized all of the podracers and their pilots, but apparently I'm being lazy today. I assumed it was Anikan's because Sebulba threw something at him, and I was way more focused on Subelba's pod while watching that. Now I feel like a dumb Gungan. And the Star Tours ride in Florida does not have an Ackbar or an X-Wing either, so I don't know what he's talking about.
-
That's how I interpreted it. I was beginning to wonder how you came up with the body being eight studs wide. If he was talking about the giant figure, then I would almost be positive that the wings fold in some way or another, and probably would still not spring up, unless there was a new brick or two involved.
