So I take it that they are not compatible with actual bricks?I also notice the middle part of the hips is unnecessarily wide compared to a regular fig.

Black Friday 2009 discussion thread
The Who replied to Darth Legolas's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
That almost makes it worth the trip. Lines are not always predictable, but more moms are wrong and think they're right than you could imagine. They can be worse than two-year-olds as far as thinkig they are 100% right and 100% of the time. -
If you don't trade with him, I am interested. Please PM me about it.
-
Well that stinks. I don't really want it, in that case. Sure thing. I've always looked for things like that, so it's practically natural for me. Thanks! Hopefully we will actually see some figs in sets of those. It's white stickers on two white pieces on a black piece or two.

QUESTION: How to make a good Mando helmet?
The Who replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Arealight is no longer open, so there's nothing stopping Brickforge now. -
Oh. Thanks, glad I didn't miss anything important. Seriously? And you have no idea what it looks like, how useful the info in it is, or how crappy the part variety may be? What's with all the winking? Do you know something you are not telling us? Our is spelled O-U-R. And do not bring politics in to this. Please, no politics.

Um...I don't see a picture there, just a little box with a red X in it. That's probably right.
-
What was it a picture of? I didn't see it either.
-
Are you saying that you know for a fact they are dropping Indy this year, or are you assuming like the rest of us?
-
True. And note that you can see, at the ends, that that is actually two tiles, so I wonder if it is printed (on both tiles)...?
-
It would be, and it seems they are at least making an effort here by offerring a Rock Band themed product, the keychain.
-
I completely forgot about that.We could only hope that TLG would keep the license running until the movie would come out.
-
Well that's nice to know. Glad to see my eyesight may not have been that bad after all. I found this out almost a month or two into my journey of collecting Lego sets. I thought it was common sense, but apparently not... I don't see why they would give him a rubber head, but knowing TLG's previous random acts of uselessness, it could happen. Just solid, hard plastic (Like you said, the Rodian head) would do great. The angle of his neck seems to be different in all customs, so I don't know how TLG would angle his neck. I can't wait for prelims of the Slave I.

As much as I hate to say it, I must agree here. The media does tend to control the life of a theme. Look at the Clone Wars, for example. Now I do think there could potentially be the fanbase to hold up the theme, but it could be tough, and the fans would need to spend a lot on Indy, I think.

Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?
The Who replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Community
Wow, that's nice. If only I had the bike to put it on, though. It doesn't seem that fast in a car, or even a big truck, but you would feel like you're about to pass Flash Gordon on a bike that fast. And Peppermint_M, I do agree that it is scary to see motorcycle accidents that involve friends. Just this summer, two people I know where pulling out of their neighborhood when a drunk cyclist slammed into the back of their car, completely totalling the entire car, leaving him scattered across the highway, the car in the salvage yard, and the two girls I know in the hospital. When I was around ten years old or so, my father and I were returning from a day out of town when we drove up to an accident that had happenned only a few seconds before. There, the motorcycle had two people on it and was driving up to a stoplight, when a car perpendicular to them continued driving and ran the light, leaving the man in the middle of the road and the woman at least forty feet across the road, laying in the ditch. We waited a while until both police and ambulances arrived, and noticed a pistol beside our truck. I still remember almost everything about that, but I love motorcycles even still. Why, you might ask? Because if you drive safe then you tend to come out alive and well, most of the time. [sorry for rambling on, can't always help it. ] -

As usual, I prefer old Vintage bikes, like the really old Indians and Harleys. I don't know a whole lot about them, but I absolutle love the look of them. Especially the Indians. Sure, wait till it starts raining really hard. -
I bet they miss entirely, and the rockets come back and crash into Russia.Or not... Anyway, I'll be waiting to see some results for this.

THE OLD Official Eurobricks Straightshooters List
The Who replied to The Middleman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
+1 for Apache. Awesome trader, great stuff, and he even threw in a few extra's because of a/the delay! -
Or maybe by the time it got developed and ready, it was too late to put into production with the rest of the set, which would mean it could still be in January's Battle Pack.EDIT: Fixed a spelling error.
-
Come to think of it, they did look kind of fleshy. It was probably dark flesh, since that has more of an orange hue to it than regular flesh.
-
Thanks! that's about as good of a picture as we can get, I suppose. Probably, but that's really not necessary at all. It's a battle pack, it is 100% intended for you as the customer to buy tons of these and use them how you want to. Well, it only takes one fig to pilot a speederbike/speedertank, and that 'pilot' doesn't really need a blaster if he already has his hands full, now does he?
-
There's something about This Page that makes me feel like that apointment isn't necessary. (Maybe?) Considering my preferred sigfig has a large head... And the results?
-
It could be, but the instructions are only partial. Not everything is there, so it is hard to tell.
-
I am pretty sure we already knew they would be in the battle pack. Maybe?...Anyway, I think it looks a lot better in Tan or Dark Tan, rather than White. I don't get it. What is that supposed to be?

I'm really happy to finally see some other lego part than a minifig in flesh color. More than likely, seeing as how it would require a new mould to make a semi-useless solid saddle like that.
