I like it, very nice! It very much reminds me of some of the tudor buildings in Winchester, near where I live. That's a compliment hehe. :skull:

They can't be, vintage sets are for older figures, these Pirate torsos have not been seen before! :skull:

Agents Review 8636 Deep Sea Quest ~ Photo Review
Shoc replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice review ReZourceman, I wanted to see one of this set. It seem's there isn't much to it other than what it looks like in the official pictures, but I may well get it. I like Slime Face! :skull: -
I mentioned it - those are the Impulse sets. As I said before: They're as close as we'll get to what there used to be, but they're probably better. :skull:

4910 Hover Scout Pictorial Review
Shoc replied to metalandi's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
When I got this set, my first Rock Raiders set, I thought it was the best set I ever had. Maybe that was a little bit of an overstatement, but I like a lot, the pieces mainly, and this is a nice little review! What would be more appropriate is commenting on Iamded's torso saying "OMG Jet's torso!" :skull: -
It most definately is, no doubt about it! Maybe in the storyline they could say they're related, like with Vladek and Ogel... Good evil? An oxymoronic witch, haha. I'll definitely be getting that Advent Calendar, not just for the witch, but because the figures are really well designed, and we haven't had a Castle Advent Calendar yet. :skull:

I'm listening to my favourite song ever, Vampires Will Never Hurt You (by My Chemical Romance) but a string quartet version! It may even be better than the original! It's very amazing, if anyone would like to listen, here is the link! Violins On! :skull:

Mine's boring: LEGO - 60% Toy stores - 30% Other Retailers - 30% Simple really... :skull:

Or maybe it's "great minds know their Lego Space subtheme colourschemes" hehe :skull:

Agents Review - 8637 Volcano Base - Mission 8
Shoc replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the review svelte_corps! I would have replied earlier about it but I was too busy looking at all the pics. I thought the set looked good when I saw the first picture of it, and it certainly is. Very nice outside, and who cares if it has an inside? You could make that yourself! I would, if I buy this. I probably will buy this, when it's a bit cheaper - though it looks worth the price that it is! I'd love to see a review of the underwatery set (hehe). Umm, the words aren't invisible, hehe :skull: -
Hi Are92! Welcome to Eurobricks! I had a look at your Blood Spectre on Flickr, it's very nice! I like the incorporation of the red windscreen. If you want to put pictures in your posts then go to the picture you want, right click and then go to properties, and copy the URL of the picture. Then when posting click on the tiny picture of a landscape underneath the "fonts" bar, and paste that address. There's probably a tutorial on this somewhere, but I though I'd tell you anyway By the way, why would anyone be rude? :skull:

I was about to say the same thing! It is a very good model though, I like the hovery torchy thingies (do they have a name?). :skull:
-
This is great, Pencoin, I really like it. The construction is brilliant, even though LDD has quite a limited selection of pieces. This would fit in well with Batman, I think, when I first saw it I was thinking that. It's very nice, good job! I don't know if you can... Maybe you could post a link to it uploaded onto the internet, if you've done that... :skull:
-
Maybe you could just get an actual Lego Pirate ship to sail across instead :skull:
-
I believe there has, I have a World City police torso with printing on the front and back! :skull:
-
Yeah, it's a con! In the UK it's £12.49 I think, meaning each minifig is £2.50 - $4.95 for US citizens (we have it a little cheaper) and 3.16euro for other Europeans... :skull:
-
Easily... :skull:
-
I expect this torso will feature in a Harbour set or something, I may be wrong... :skull:
-
I agree, but I guess this happens in many themes, it did in the Castle version of Exo-Force, Knights Kingdom 2. Just main characters, and not many others... It's sad, really :skull:
-
The title is just Apologize, it's by OneRepublic, or maybe the remix by Timbaland. Either version I find makes me want to sleep, hehe :skull:
-
Nooooooo! But, if they were fan made customs (hopefully not), then how did they get the Castle Joker? :skull:
-
I'm not sure what Community Window is, but when he says custom figs he means they are, as I have said, a collection of parts, not actual figures from actual sets - the bit about the Obi Wan hair is probably true, so he means that they are mixed up, but not that they are false parts in any way. Even if the pirates we have seen aren't official ones coming out, they have official torsos in them, which ae pirate ones we have not seen. This spells a return, I say! :skull:
-
I don't think it does... Fake Lego is not stupid, but it is worse quality, and also a disrespectful copy of Lego products... Anyway, on your decision, I think the one with the yellow figures looks the best, and not cos it has yellow figs :skull:
-
Wow, I never saw these before, they're good! Has there been any individual topics of them? I voted for SirNadroj anyway, I love the bar! I saw it, but thought it was just a hat, then realised what I was meant to be. Haha. :skull:
-
Haha I do, but I don't know if I'd call it using... There doesn't seem much reason for it. :skull:
