Do you think we'll get a Lego LotR or Lego Hobbit brand?
Shoc replied to Dollar Bill's topic in LEGO Licensed
No, I don't think we will. Then again, I didn't think we'd ever get Toy Story Lego... :skull: -
Hehe! I like to think of yours as more of a Chibi, though. :skull:

I saw these just around an hour ago on Flickr, I really like them! The Galidorian businessman is really funny (I have all the pieces to make it!) and the reptile bird is also pretty cool, I made one like that once. Very inventive! :skull:

If you could revive any one dead theme...
Shoc replied to Darth Legolas's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Adventurers! Paradisa, as Sinner suggested, would be cool, but I love Adventurers and would love to see more of it! :skull: -
Thanks! I found that head aand thought it looked like him, so I made him. At least you can't see the lightning scar on his forehead, it's hidden. Why not? I think it looks a lot like him. :skull:
-
Thanks! Nah, but that was the best face I could find (I don't have the original Lego Riddler, though I may adapt my spare Robin head for him. Just his design from (more recent) Batman comics. I couldn't get it exactly the same of course, but I think it turned out well and captured his look. :skull:

A while ago I posted my custom DC minfigures, and now I have made some more Batman ones! First up, the Joker in his trenchcoat (a cape over his arm sockets) and his clown henchman (loosley based on Lego Batman: The Videogame)! Dr. Jonathan Crane (the Scarecrow in normal identity) and Harvey Bullock of Gotham City PD. The Mad Hatter and Mr Freeze's henchwoman (based on LB:TV, she has white hair but hard to see). Ra's Al Ghul and the Riddler (these are my favourites, their torsos and Ra's' face work very well). Thanks for looking, I hoep you like them! Comments are welcome. :skull:

But they were just a return of pieces, not exactly hints. This is a concept, and TLC have never copied a concept as a hint of a theme return. :skull:
-
Thank you. Finally some appreciation for the smile! Thanks. I like your poem too! :skull:
-
It would be a reference (or just recycled idea). TLC don't do vague clues, but they do do references (as we have seen in the great Space torso also in the same set). :skull:

I think it's meant to say "menu". :skull:

Ahem, purple was going to be discontinued. But in the end they didn't do it. This is what CopMike said in the "Bye Purple" topic: :skull:

I use Brickshelf. I don't care about the lack of commenting function on there, I just use it as a place to host pictures that I post on Eurobricks. :skull:

Model team return petition
Shoc replied to Buttons's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That's very true! :skull: -
Aboslutely yes, this year is the best so far for minifigures! Those are all my favourites too! I have to own almost all of them by the end of this year, they're great for a big minifig fan like me! :skull:

Model team return petition
Shoc replied to Buttons's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I had some Model Team sets... but I much prefer minifigure scale. So far I'm the only one who's voted against a return. :skull: -
Awesome! I might buy that... :skull:

Wow, absolutely perfect! It looks just like Hellboy, yet just like Lego, which is a tricky thing to get both looking just right. Great job, well done! :skull:
-
Actually, there was a female Martian called Cassiopeia in Life on Mars. Yep, the leader, Gypsy Moth. We need more Lego women in all themes (which we are gradually getting). :skull:
-
Ooh, nice! Watchmen's my favourite novel, so I know what they're meant to look like, and these are pretty good representations! I especially like Dr Manhattan and The Comedian. Rorschach's face doesn't look quite right though, maybe you could use a decal? Great job on these great characters anyway! :skull:
-
Same for me. I still like the proper Star Wars films, but the Clone Wars should have stayed in comic book form, which is the best form for them. :skull:
-
I have two of them, and they are useful, yes! I'm not sure which you're talking about, would you be able to post pics? Yep, I own that set and that is a really effective torso (and head) too. :skull:

He is a gangster anyway if you think about it! :skull:
