So they were right about about the release and the name - anyone know if the 'replace the Maersk' bit is true? Have only just got back into trains and have been paying for a wedding the past six months so haven't got round to buying the Maersk yet! It wondering if I need to shift it up my priority list..?

Hi - a couple of quick and easy questions for any one who's tried it... I'm tempted to get back into LEGO trains via the Maersk, but my set-up is entirely grey era / 12v and I don't fancy shelling out for a load of new track: - will the motor happily go round on the grey track without having any traction problems? - is there an issue with clearance under the motor / model / trucks running over the 12v conducting rails? Any guidance would be appreciated before I shell out for the set!

Hi all - I've just got back into Lego and the trains after digging my old 12v system out of the loft and setting it up for the first time in 15 years! My layout is the same as when I was 14 (based upon one of those in the 7777 book) so I'm looking to extend and expand it in the next few months to make it more elaborate, run a few more engines etc, so will probably have a ton of questions to ask the more knowledgeable people on here (I've already got a load of useful advice just from browsing old 4.5v/12v threads!)!
