Actually, I wasn't here back then, the first I saw of Ninjago was on the back of the 2010 Nov-Dec club magazine. And, personally, I've always loved Ninjago (I might have felt differently if I had seen preliminary pics though). Anyway, yeah, Chima will probably look better when we see more. So I'm not worried!

Not sure I would say school is "girly", but shopping probably would fall into that catagory. Anything like that would probably get put in friends.

Thanks, that's awesome! My guess is the episodes will begin airing in Singapore or wherever again soon, so we should get bad quality in a little while. And something else just occurred to me:

I think once the store has only a few left they keep them separate so you can't feel. Of course, that's not necessarily the case there, but once my local TLG store had, maybe 30 S2 minifigs left (Tesco probably had more than that though - of course they would have S8), they stuck them in their own separate containers - my guess is several of them were witches and no one wanted them! And once they got down to 5 or so S7, they went ahead and opened the packages so you could see what you would be getting (for all I know they could have done that with other series as well).

Great job Gabe, my only question is how the ruler is ever going to get down from the balcony! (Just kidding) Great background story, really excellent work with your minifigs too.

Great work, it's really funny how many people have chosen women leaders for their guilds! Blue and green is a great combination, and I love the myth of formation and your incorporation into historica!

Thanks everyone! (As you may have noticed, I really enjoy micro building!) A winding path is certainly a good idea, although exactly how I could do a winding path on such a small scale I'm not sure!

My guess is that the manager meant the new kimono costumes the Ninja will be getting in 2013. After all, even if LEGO wanted to introduce a new character, it would only be one or two, not a whole group. And the Stone army (presuming they will be in sets) could well qualify as new characters.

Yeah, I can't say I see myself likeing these as much as spinner right now, but that's bound to change. Still, I wish the vehicles had less (apparent) new molds.

IMO that would be cool, but I don't think TLG would do that; it would be too mush like a rehash. Besides, why would Garmadon need or want a robot - I really can't see how that would help him defeat the ninja(control the stone army.

A lovely castle situared high in the mounainous regions of Kaliphlin. This originally started off as a part of my Botanical Gardens University project, but then I found it turned out too big. . . A few trees off to the left, and a drawbridge with a statue on either side. Unfortunatly, I don't have two dark blue hands, just one (and I'm wondering how that happened). Yeah, non-licensed is always preferable, but licensed themes do have more of a tendency to go on sale. So as long as I can hold out a while, it might not be so bad. . .

That's nice to know; we need more pices with odd stud numbers. Hopefully it will be in a cheaper set!

I'm hoping he won't have one of those weird NRG faces though. I'd prefer a golden ninja rather than a golden monster.
