  1. I like it! Actually, I have trouble finding the normal font after I copy something (I copyed the names and numbers) - so I went with Comic Sans. It occured to me (has this been mentioned before?) that (suggested by the large gap between some of the numbers) some of these might be more April-ish releases?
  2. Nice job, using different levels was a great idea! I especially like the underwater setion!
  3. Great work so far, I love the gold highlights and the lady baking bread looks great.
  4. They may end up surfacing pretty soon though. . .
  5. Thanks guys! And part two (much shorter! - they'll all be about this length now): ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Visiting the Elves in Avalonia! April 29th. Gathering supplies took us longer than we expected; although there are many farms and villages along the way, we had to have at least sufficient to get us through the Wither Woods, and Ageven always packs three or four times what is needful. Regardless, we made it through the woods with great speed, and have spent our time agreeably since, going from one beautiful homestead to another, stopping to admire the beauty of each passing city. Last night we met with a band of Elves, our first meeting with any creatures save humans. They were very hospitable, and were more than willing to explain to us the origins of Avalonia. Long ago, there was a group of creatures they called Druids, who created a spell of peace and harmony and then hid it in a sacred shrine, whereupon, having finished their task, they disappeared into dust. Or so says the Legend (why they hid it in the shrine - as well as why they later disappeared - is a mystery to me). A dark time settled upon the land, as all races and classes strove for power there. At last, a group of noble-hearted Elves (and this was the part our host took the most care to elaborate), came and vowed to protect the hidden power until a suitable ruler could be entrusted with it. Why they had to protect a concealed power no one could find is beyond me as well, but however that may be, a group of warriors led by humans and known as the "Flight of the Dragons," arrived. They vanquished all their enemies and took control, ruling justly and well. We were all amazed to find that this was only two years ago. By their description, Avalonia has changed drastically, turning from a land full of strife into a gorgeous countryside. The liberating warriors were placed on the throne, and Artorious Rex is now the leader of this kingdom. And what with the cracking warmth of the fire, the rounds of delicious pastries covered with apple butter, and the beautifully crafted benches, we were all very sorry when the story was over - with perhaps the exception of Raz, who had a go around with the cat. May 3rd. We have arrived in Albion! The "Pearl City", a thriving, bustling metropolis, is located right at the junction of the Cadarn and Draconem rivers, providing it with great security and an easy way to do business. Inside the city, there are two sections, one of which is called the "Inner Sanctum," home to the Great Keep, and also some of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen, rivaled only by the palaces of Petraea. The first telescope on record is housed here, and has been used by the Avalonians for centuries to defend their kingdom and spot any intruders. The entire city is very prosperous, and Avalonia's young ruler, Artorious, is doing his best to fortify the city and make it as rich as any other.
  6. Part one of the next episode poor quality (22): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHRunI4Prbg&feature=BFa&list=ULeS99MhyrGyMe And Part two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS99MhyrGyM&feature=channel&list=UL I like this episode a lot better than any of the previous few. And
  7. I agree, it's looking better and better.
  8. Uruk-Hai army - without minifigs. Plus two PoC w/o minifigs either. . .
  9. Nice job! Love all the Romans! Looks great with the trees there too!
  10. Is there still a spot that tells you your average post count per day?
  11. Well, I just spent myself broke. . . I did get some light grey though. . . I had forgoten about DarthNick's build. Guess we better get some girls in the Gardens! Edit: Oh, and is there any interior?
  12. Now that I have some time, here's how I look at these sets: 70000 Razcals Raven glider - Although I do like the birds in general, this one really doesn't strike me as anything that great. It's just doesn't look that much like a Raven and more like a helicopter coc-pit. At least to me. 70001 Crawleys Reptile grabber - What happened with the middle on this one? Did LEGO forget some pieces? Thick treads, huge back weals, and this skinny middle with almost noting in it! I'm not going for this one either really. 70002 Lennoxs Lion-Buggy - Not as nice of a lion head as some of the others, but I like the new (relatively new) color. (I still probably won't be getting this one). 70003 Eris Eagle Jet - Except for the legs, awesome! But right above the claws looks way too boxy. . . gives me the impression that it was designed so that a minifig could be heald captive inside (maybe it was?). 70004 Wakz Wolf tracker - I like this one too, but not enough. Especially that one wolf, I really think they could have done a uch better job on that one. 70005 Lavals Lion-Quad - :wub_drool: Lovely! Awesome mane and it really looks lie a crouching lion! Thumbsup on this one! 70006 Craggers Croc-Boat Center - A bit too fat of a Crocodile for my taste. It's a nice color if you're in to army vehicles, but I'm not. Which is good, I can pass this one up. 70012 Razars Chi Raider - Something tells me we don't have pictures of this one yet. . . I like Razar, so. . . 70013 Equilas Ultra Striker - :wub_drool: My favorite! Wings that open in and out, two spring-loaded shooters (why am I feeliing that with all of these in Chima, I'll never be needing another one in my entire life?), and eagles! I really love those wings, black and white, this one is a must by for me! 70100 Speedorz Fire ring - All that trans-orange! And my favorite bad-guy! Hopefully these are just $15, or I'll be broke. . . 70101 Speedorz Disc Shooting - Unless the cards are really great, I think I can skip this one. No irraplacable pieces and I'm not a fan of the eagle head thing here. 70102 Chi-Waterfall - I was really hoping we'd get some nice water pieces in here. . . probably the most disappointing set of the line. 70103 Speedorz Boulder Bowling - Who needs all those boulders? I have one and I hardly ever get to use it. . . But I'm likeing the green and brown - and maybe crashing into a bunch of boulders would be a lot of fun?! 70104 Jungle Gates - For the pieces, this is awesome. But the minifigure. . . in general, I'm less than impressed with the lions. They should be more yellow and less flesh. 70105 Nest Jump - Awesome. Everything about this, the nest (great job! ), the four green leaves ( ) and of course the eagle! 70106 Speedorz Ice Tower - I wasn't anticipating much for this, so it doesn't beat the waterfall as being more dissapointing. But it really not looking that great to me (because of the Wolf figure, really. The otehr wolf looks much better.) 70113 Starter Set Chi Tournament - No good quality on this one means I can't really say how much I like it or not, but it does seem to me that it includes to figures that aren't in any of the other sets? 70115 Ultimate Tournament - I like the lion head here, and the crocodile is nice, but other than that. . . nothing really stands out to me here. Overall, it's a pretty nice line-up, I really like the eagles and the crocs are looking good too! The main bonus of Ninjago spinnners over Chima is how easy you could carry enough for one game - whereas here, although I'm sure there will be some function that doesn't need the boulders/fire ring/disc shooters/etc., you can't carry an entire set around in your pocket - or at least, not in one piece!
  13. That Karate set looks pretty cool. . . and maybe the soccer one too? I really want a ball (somehow useing a basketball for everything just doesn't seem to cut it. . . )
  14. Fabulous job, someone really wants first place eh? The entire stable looks gorgeous!
  15. Yes they were. . . along with 6 or so others Thanks!
  16. Great job, especially with the arched doorway - although don't the professors have better things to do than sweep the roof? I see we went ahead and included girl students as well. . . Nice work, I love all the light grey!
  17. While it does seem nice that HF pieces could be used in a set like that, I would actually prefer something else, since I really don't think those would be useful in the type of MOCs I build. And really, I don't think the leg pieces are that cool by themselves. . . I agree about the hilt though, it look's really out of place with the rest of the smoothly flowing mech.
  18. Well, we really can't be absolutely sure if Garmadon was in control then or not, but it would seem likely, since he could know about the inventor (whereas how would Samukai know?).
  19. Yeah, spotted that when Aanachir pointed it out. . . Thanks for the new pics, those are a lot easier to see! I'm really liking the bigger eagle vehicle!
  20. Thanks for telling us, that should mean my pre-order will be shipping soon as well. . .
  21. Great idea, nice job portraying it as well! I like the yellow floor matting especailly
  22. Love all the colorful trees - why doesn't LEGO make those in more colors? Great job with the lodge as well!
  23. Great work with the colors, nice front balcony as well!
  24. You're right. Good eye! Maybe someone got confused with the "Speedorz" vehicles?
