  1. Hi everyone! I got new project currently. It will be an helicopter again but quiet more exiting in technological design. I'am working on a CH-47 CHINOOK model. I didn't have onother swashplate actualy, and i don't want to take the Bell's one. So did someone have an idea to build a homemade swahsplate? May be someone has 2 of them to let, th'ats another issue to this problem. Last but not least the original model as 3-blades rotors...That's a very complex problem. Official parts are ok for 4-blades rotors. Thanks for your help. Steph.
  2. Here is my vote. First of all you have made great job. Difficult choise. However, here it is: 6)1vote. 9)2votes 13)2votes 14)2votes steph.
  3. Hi! This will be done! I appreciate your job, simple and efficient. This beautiful boat will complete the diorama of my huey very well! one of the best design in this contest. Well done!
  4. Hi, Well done! the design is great, immediatly recognisable as a piper. Technicaly, you offer lots of functions. The most original and technicaly difficult is the variable pitch. It's very well realised! but would it be possible to build this MOC 1/2 scale than actually? When i look at the scale of the BB, it's just an enormous plane. I don't think it's very easy to manypulate it. LEGO are still a game and the playability is an important thing for me. I wait the pictures to give me good idea of the scale. However, you made a very good job. Congrats.
  5. That compliment from a such talentuous Mocer is great! THANKS! Hm, As your here, An idea for a progressive transmition using something else than usual TLC clutch? I didn't find a correct way to realised that.
  6. One more video that shows the winch working and some other details. The rotor was in WIP at this time. @+
  7. Hi! As new member it's time to present myself here. I'am a Belgian boy, 34 years old. I'am architect, passionate about all engeneering questions and always there when a technical challenge has to be realised. Whatever the MOC couldd be small or big. My interrest will always be in technical datasheet and it's realisation. I'am pleased to be here and i thanks everyone for all comments and interressed in my job.
  8. Sorry KEvron, but i didn't understood what you mean. (language translation problem) However i think that the studless offers more solution of connection than studfull. The design of the swashplate just have to be correctly done, with 2 studs oriented by 90° for each of the 4 'arms'. Hi, I saw your job while begining mine. Our too MOCs are very different style. The flight commands are also very differently executed. You use a complete structure moving up and down for the collective control. attached at this structure you placed the cyclic controls. It's a very efficient solution with lots of fiability. That solution needs very lots of place however. I tried to make it more compact. All my commands are executed in 7 studs wide by 5 studs lenght and 11studs high. That gives me place for concentrate myself on the design (as good as i could but the reaction in here confirm it!). I think realy that your conception is very 'clean'. Much more than mine. It makes me think much more at a real TLC model than mine. Yours is very comprehensive, very clear. You made a very good job. Congrats.
  9. My MOC is already on lego cuusoo... Tell your friends for support! i think they are lots of potential supporter in here.... Thanks for comment.
  10. I agree with the facts that this piece need an update ...studless version
  11. it seems to have collective control of the blades. I don't believe in the cyclical control. But who knows, the video and pictures or not clear about it. Wathever it's cool and the blades of this set will fit my Moc very ...quickly
  12. ok, thanks a lot everyone! Is there other helicopter builder out there? I searched on the forum but didn't find lots of projects? ideas?
  13. @ all. This video shows the basic lines of the mecanics. This was the WIP demonstrator. I think this is useful to understand the working mecanics inside.
  14. If they all take so much time than i....we will wait for a very long time!
  15. In french, my native language i would say ' pour un accueil c'est un accueil!' You can translate it, in its native sustance, by 'YES!' Thanks a lot. I'am there if any of you as questions or comments. Have a nice day, all.

  21. Following my message in the contest topic, I present you my MOC. If it's to late for the contest, ok. It's still cool to present a project and see the reactions. More information following soon. Enjoy! technical datasheet: Cyclical control, Collective control, Tail rotor orientation, Motorized winch, Motorised rotors, Commands are executed in twice as real helicopter, opening pilot doors sliding lateral doors with opening section, Lights,
