This is absolutely adorable. Outstanding build!

Very sweet. I like the snow/ice sculptures and cheese display. I married into a German/Midwestern family. This is right on for the area.

This is gorgeous. I really like the pinecone weights.

This is really great! Like your mini fig choice. Already picturing it in all different colors.

Well my favorite pieces in this set are the light aqua plates. You don't need a lot of them to add some great subtle details to MOCs. But I guess we all have different styles :) I am very tempted to pick up several more for the light aqua, ice cream cone and Popsicle. Especially since my girls are quite attached to the one we have staying put together. The one thing I don't like is the Emma clone. We already have so many copies of her. BTW So nice of you to pass these on to coworkers!

Was she little, and wore a red hood?

Love the farm and the highway! This is so sweet!

I was wondering what your thoughts/perspectives are on the Friends line now that it has been out for a year, now that misinformation and hype has died down a bit. Has it been what you expected? Do you think differently about it now? Did it live up to your hopes or fears? How do you feel it has contributed to the lego universe? (And yes obviously I like it, but I think people have had valid concerns about it as well, so I am really interested in all perspectives.)

Thanks for the positive feedback :) This is the largest, and most detailed MOC I have made since am I fairly new to the lego world. There are a few more places I would have liked to add tile to make it look more finished, but my supplies were limited. guess I need to buy more lego lol.

These are so great! Can't wait to see where the story goes. I think I know who scarlet is :)

Thanks so much, after the many years of studying the floors when my mind wandered in high school/college, I remembered some had random patterns like that. Which was good, because every bit of grey and bley tile I could find is in it. (I figured some grey would work, because I remember those off color tiles from school as well). Sometimes a lack of parts boosts creativity.

Descended from a long line of lab animals, the lab rabbit escapes her cage, and finally realizes her dream to create "The Carrot Maximizer". Success breeds ambition and she devises a plan to take over the world... just one breeding pair and in no time she will have a mutant bunny army, since they will multiply...like rabbits. A view of the lab from the top: The large brown bunny and carrots are from Duplo Pink Brick Box 4623. This was so much fun thanks for the great contest! More photos can be found on flickr

This is lovely. I really like the curtains on the inside, and how the interior walls differ from the exterior. The girl by the fountain did make me shiver. Maybe the fact that it is 12 deg F outside my house today is making me cold. Maybe a cape for her would help?

Thank you so much for the review, that's a lot of work. I have been looking forward to your review of this set. My girls saw me reading it and insisted I read it outloud to them. I agree that the pink roof is a little odd. But I love the pet turntable play feature. I am sure we will be getting this set in April when some birthdays come around .

This is just gorgeous! I really like the little "living" spaces you put inside.

It was actually only requires very basic sewing skills. I also briefly thought about the idea of drawing a large map on fabric, or on some type of paper then laminating. But I am a much better artist with fabric and scissors, than pencils and pens.

Well many of the friends sets will be coming into our home. These will technically be for my daughters. I have already worked out as many excuses as possible to buy Friends for them, birthday, valentines, Easter, last day of school etc.... I do want to get lots of opportunities to build this winter. Once May hits the farm and garden don't allow much "play" time. Hoping to have some nice garage sale lego finds in the spring/ summer. I am excited about August. Looking forward to a Castle, and a nice big Creator house, hopefully. Oh and that Friends boat interests me. It sounds like a large set. Hopefully the girls want it for Christmas. Glad it will be a long time before they grow up and take the Friends LEGO away from me lol

This is really nice. Love the organ. It definitely looks like the pics of scottish churches I have seen when researching my ancestry.

Great moose, love the coziness of the home

Thanks all :) thanks pandora ;) And yes LEGO does have a playmat just for Friends. I linked to it in the OP. It is 8.6 square feet, and mine is 15 square feet. I knew it would be full with just the sets we have now. Of course by the end of the year ours will be full too. I am also looking forward to the big boat coming this summer ( the dolphin cruiser) so we needed some seaside.
