  1. Ever since the holiday boxes my local store here in Utah has been extremely sparse when it comes to the PAB wall. I talked to an employee and they just said they can't keep it stocked for very long. I asked him if because of the poor selection on the wall if they planed on extending the use of the holiday boxes beyond the end of March and his response was a positive one. I am glad they are allowing holiday boxes to be filled after that date but I also want to see the PAB wall full again.
  2. I live in Taylorsville so it's only a 10-15 minute drive for me. I tend to swing by the store 1-2 times a week. You also tend to have better connections as I couldn't get access to the purple 1x2 plates and they were not on the wall. Wanted to get the pink and purple pieces for my girls. I did however fill up half the cup with palm leaves and a good part of the rest of the cup with the 1x4 pink bricks.
  3. NiceMarmot, Murray, Utah store. Jay, I was in the store to pick up some of the items you listed yesterday and I mentioned you. Sounds like they know you very well at the store.
  4. After reading this post I had to run over to the Lego store last night and get me a cup. I was talking to one of the employees and he said there were some tires for the wider hubs they had on the wall and a few other treats that once space opens up they will put out in the next few days.
  5. I will have to agree. The Utah stores PAB wall is 1/3 repeats now. I like to think that the Utah store is doing better than predicted and therefore is selling out parts faster than they can be replenished. As I walk around Fashion Place Mall its interesting how many Lego store bags you see every where. Though there is one complaint that I have with the store is how long it takes to check out. There is usually only 1-2 cashiers at a time and a line of people covering half the length of the store.
  6. http://wallofbricks.com/pab-display.php?pab_store_id=127&country=USA Cara, this is what is currently on the Salt Lake PAB wall with the 2x4 pastel colors.
  7. Jaysapathy, the wall still looks similar to that except for the window pains and white doors. I didn't see any of the windows them selves to put the pains in and asked one of the brick specialists if she knew of any in the back. I was told there wasn't any, I plan on swinging in again either today or tomorrow for any other updates to the wall.
  8. Went to the Murray, Utah store yesterday and noticed window pains and white doors and stocked up on them.
  9. jaysapathy, Good to see someone else from Salt Lake. I have been to the Fashion Place mall 3 times to visit that store since it opened and filled 1 cup so far. As I was filling the cup there was a guy there filling up 3 cups and taking time to pack them in extremely well. I did some basic packing for some increased benifit but with the wife with me I didn't take to much time with it. I informed this guy with a couple kids that was filling a cup that he needed to stack them and it will increase the amount he could fit in. His first comment was thanks but maybe he will do it next time. A little while later he was staking them and he said to me he increased the amount by and easy 20%. Funny thing was his kids that were with him looked annoyed that their dad was taking so long to get some Legos. I was there yesterday for the Grand Opening but didn't really see anything new so didn't pick up anything. I have my eyes on anything that will allow me to build the old Modular sets that are no longer available. I know the white grills are available currently but what I really want to get is some of the metallic grills. I also like to think I was one of the reasons Salt Lake now has a LEGO store since I took the time to write them a very long letter on why Utah should get one. It was back in 2012 and I received a reply back letting me know I had giving some very good reasons to why Salt Lake should get one but at the time it was not on the list of cities. Lets just say I was extremely excited to see the list in February that Salt Lake was on it for a September opening.
  10. I added the FB to my checkout on the 19th of March and will finally get it Tomorrow. I did not have to wait till the 18th of April like it said it was shipping on at S@H.
  11. How did you manage to get all the parts in a week and where did you get them?
