An internet tale Winchester/Shaun of the Dead project on CUUSOO
Super Goblin replied to Yatkuu's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Seeing this bumped got me thinking how much I would love a line from Lego aimed at just adults. I don't mean like the modular buildings. More along the lines of movies like this or other past properities that would be ideal for 25 to 45 year olds. NECA does a great job providing to that crowd with their toy lines. In my opinion Lego would make a killing. -
Ignorance? You sound ignorant right now. I was talking about a African-American not a Jamaican.

Got my Iron Men in. Overall I'm happy with them. The new armors(the ones that Lego hasn't made) turned out good. A couple them have their printing a little off center but it's not that bad. The ones that are remakes came out pretty crappy paint wise. Plastic quality is almost right there with Lego.

It looks nothing like the new 52 Batman but looks just like the BTB Batman just a lighter shade of grey. With Superheroes being an evergreen line now I wonder if we will start seeing advent calendars? I hope so.

The LEGO Movie Video Game Discussion
Super Goblin replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Is the Emmet figure with all versions of the game or a specific store? -
The hands won't fit lego arms, legs won't fit lego hips. The torso fits lego hips. Lego arms fit the torso but it is a really tight fit. The black Superman pic I posted has lego arms, legs, hips and hair, bootleg torso. Same for the Cyborg Supermam except hair and head are bootleg. Bizarro has lego arms, legs, hips, bootleg torso, bootleg hair and head. Capes are kind of crappy, real soft material, most likely they'll fray easy.

I just got in a set of the fake Superman and Green Lantern figures. The printing isn't even close as good as Lego but a couple have really good printing. The plastic isn't that bad, feels just like a lot of the CMF and minifigs you get with the books. I'll get some comparison pics up in a little bit. Overall I think they are worth the few dollars I spent on them. I have a set of the Iron Man Martian Manhunter and Shazam figures coming in so hopefully the printing is as good on those. Edit: here are some pics comparing them to the real deal. There is also a pic of Bizarro, Cyborg Superman and black suit Superman mixed with real Lego parts. The hair pieces are pretty crappy. The torso prints are pretty good. The face printing on a few are two high or low. The best thing are the trans weapons

WTB: 6866 Wolverine's Chopper showdown
Super Goblin replied to MicroM's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I've got one available. -
It would be great if they made a set like this with just one stud wide bricks, I don't have much use for that many two wide bricks.
-
Actually the Turtle bootlegs are some of the best out there. The only really noticeable difference are the top of the torso. The bootlegs are pointy and the real thing is more rounded. The printing on them is great. I'm going to pick some up to compare to my real ones. I also picked up the Decool Iron Man ones to compare.

LEGO parts made of Chinese plastic?
Super Goblin replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It wasn't that Mattel had no control as to what came out of the factories it was that they are too cheap to care. They care about profits not their reputation or quality of their product. It's obvious to me that Lego cares more about their image and their customer than Mattel and they most likely are more strict on what comes out of China than most companies. -
do people actually buy huge collections?
Super Goblin replied to Bobskink's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
No people hate large lots. To help you out I'll give you a dollar for the entire lot. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 8 poll
Super Goblin replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Why not? He wanted to give his opinion on this series? Maybe he got them late or wasn't around when they first came out. It's not hurting anyone or taking away from the other threads. Your statement annoys me more than someone bumping an old thread. I like it when people bump old threads because sometimes I to see sets I never knew existed or cool MOCs that were posted before I joined. -
So is there enough sand blue in the Pet Shop for the GG? Will I have to buy any additional sand blue bricks to complete it? I was thinking about getting another PS for the house side so if I can use the pet shop half for the GG it will be a bonus.

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Super Goblin replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I just think it sucks cause we are going to have every minifig in that movie poster except Green Lantern. They have to know that people want the Green Lantern minifig or any Green Lantern minifig. I mean they used it the movie and advertising of course people are going to want it more now then ever before.- 2,626 replies

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Super Goblin replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
What a disappointment, they had a perfect opportunity to release Green Lantern but instead they release a Batman they we have seen 20 times and a Green Ninja that is is multiple sets already.- 2,626 replies

Yeah it's Skeletron from the MetalBeard Duel set, the body is grey as well. I know it's hard to tell in my dark picture.

If I'm a customizer that made 200 Green Lantern minifigs and I place them on eBay one at a time, not posting a new one until the first sold it is just like a bootlegger making 10,000 non licensed Green Lantern minifigs and selling them. I'm not talking about somebody that makes a one off without selling it. The stolen designs on these bootlegs are from customs that are sold on eBay everyday. I have no sympathy for these customizers.
-
Either way customizers and bootleggers are stealing from Lego and and the IP of Marvel, DC and whatever other property they are making figs of.
-
They have no right. That's like me stealing a painting then someone comes along and steals it from me. I file a police report that someone stole a stolen painting from me. I have no right because it wasn't my painting to start with. These customizers that are selling these figs of licensed characters are doing the same thing as these bootleggers. It's just more accepted because they are labeled customs.

Why do people that take pictures of these retail catalogs always take the worst pictures?
