Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day One
TrumpetKing replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, that is really more of a matter of opinion. I feel it is more townie to less townie, because saying that at first you can be recruited by either scum or mason is only possible for a town, I would think. But then if I recall correctly he said he was confused and that his PM didn't say anything about conversions, which really doesn't mean anything, but seems a bit more scummy than his original post.- 249 replies

I was literally just watching Wreck-It Ralph! And even, funnier, I was thinking of LEGO Wreck-It Ralph! I'd love to see them, but I doubt they would ever happen. My dream LEGO license would be Harry Potter. Again. Just a revival of the parts they missed.

Vote: Li'l Zepher I just think his overall behavior is strange, and I don't know how I feel about his attitude about the PM's. I'm just unsure about him, the things he said almost completely contradict eachother, and I believe we are supposed to "Lynch All Liars". I know that we aren't supposed to use Role PM's to our advantage, and I don't think that's what I'm doing. I am voting for him because of his inconsistencies.- 249 replies

I don't know, I know we shouldn't be using the role PM's to our advantage, but I find it odd that he claimed with his PM in mind and then said "Oh, no, I read it wrong". Those sort of things are kind of hard to believe because we don't know for sure whether he is telling the truth or not, especially when he is referring to something private. The thing that strikes me odd though, is that he went from a pretty townie PM claim to a claim that says he didn't know. It seems pretty hard to mess something like that up. He said he could be converted by either scum or masons at first, and then said he reread it and didn't know if he could. Saying he didn't know is quite different from his original statement of being pretty sure he could be converted. I think that seems odd..- 249 replies

Li'l Hinck, it's actually interesting that you bring up the lie detector. I do believe that Mr. def said that most of the roles would remain the same in this game from the last, so it actually is going to be useful to do that just in case. I am aligned with the town. Sorry, that is how I read it. It's still really similar to what I thought you said, though. I meant to respond to this, too. I actually had mentioned a similar possibility, which involved him wording PM's differently. It's also a good thing you mention that rule, do you think we should simply stop talking about it?- 249 replies

Li'l Cecilie said she didn't recall seeing that. The odd thing is that it appears that after she said that she left without filling us in on if her PM actually did say that. That gives us an O.K. lead on her. Not super strong, but it does seem pretty scummy. I feel that the question asked by Li'l Chromeknight does imply that everybody's PM says that, though we don't know that. It is very possible that Mr. def only wrote that on some PM's, and possibly forgot to on others. I don't know about the leads, because there is always the possibility that the PM's were differently written, but I doubt Mr. def would confirm that, so we can only go off of pure speculation, which in turn is an O.K. lead, as I said before. Our vig better be taking some good notes...- 249 replies

I didn't see anything in the post you linked to about tiebreakers, if that is what you were referring to. You had said that your PM said you could be recruited into the masons or the scum. And would you please explain everything about my "non-town" PM that you think I have? I'm having trouble making sense of it. And the fact that I don't want you recruited into the scum can easily disclose your "Li'l TrumpetKing has a non-town PM" theory. Do you really think I would have said anything about that if I were scum? I said that I was worried you would get recruited to the scum, which I didn't want, so it might be better to lynch you so the scum don't get an advantage. Sorry.- 249 replies

Li'l Zepher, I don't know why you would say that. Now the scum know that you are apparently recruit-able, and that is not good. Though the masons also know you are recruit-able, I'm not sure who the recruiting goes to. I didn't see any rules about that earlier. I'm becoming more and more inclined to vote for you, even if you are town, because the scum now have an easy recruitment, and I am thinking that we need to stop that from happening.- 249 replies

I had meant that it was brave of him to do this after he was killed for doing the same last time, so I see him more likely as town. I do find it odd that he says he knows that he won't die on night one, though.- 249 replies

Sorry I have been gone, guys! Li'l Zepher, despite being an Earthling, seems to want the recruit-able players dead. I can see his thinking on that, and I actually don't think that it is that scummy. The recruiting team of scum is obviously going to want recruit-able players recruited rather than killed, so if I understood the gist of what he was saying, he would rather the recruit-able players dead. This could actually be an asset yet a disadvantage for the town, but more-so a disadvantage. On one side, it keeps the scum from recruiting anybody, but on another side, it brings our numbers down (which does make a little "ping" noise in my head towards Li'l Zepher), and it means that we can't confirm other people the easy way (using any future mason results to root out scum).- 249 replies

I'm not taking it too seriously. At least, I don't think so. I'm trying to look at this at the point that although the role isn't important now, it could be at any point, so we should be wary of who we elect. So, I feel that it is less likely that Corny is scum due to his willingness to be mayor despite his previous experiences. However, he could be scum trying to dupe us by thinking this through. However, I see that less likely, because I'm not sure that a scum would bring themselves up so early, especially with the negative connotation that the mayor had last game. Because more evidence leads to him being town, I will Mayor: Li'l Cornelius Murdock. I feel like this is a decision that I can feel comfortable with at this point in time, as he does seem pretty trustworthy, being willing to volunteer himself like that.- 249 replies

I meant metaphorically. I wasn't referring to you, but just the whole of the game. If you misinterpreted that, then I apologize. I don't know that we should be taking our chances. I think it is a better idea to elect somebody more trustworthy, even if the role isn't as useful, because you never know what will happen, and we need somebody who we can trust can look at the evidence presented on both sides, because we don't know that there will or will not ever be a tie, but it is better to play it safe and elect somebody more trustworthy. The way your phrase was worded asked why the person we elected had to appear townie. That seems like you are implying electing a scummy person as mayor. I don't know why you would do that, perhaps just a jumble of thoughts, but I have my opinion and think it is pretty self-explanatory to elect somebody who appears townie. You also have your own opinion, and you are entitled to it. While I might not agree with it, or understand it, I can live with it. I feel like we shouldn't be risking our mayoral election with somebody that we don't have a very good vibe off of yet.- 249 replies

That is what I had explained. Still, I want a mayor that we can trust. We only have one mayor until the first one dies, which seeing how the last game went will be pretty likely, but why would you want somebody untrustworthy as your mayor? Saying it doesn't matter is actually wrong. The mayor is a pretty important role. Right now it's about as useful as a pair of handerpants , but that doesn't mean it won't be useful in the future, so we should be picking trustworthy people as our mayor. We don't want to be all "Whoop-Dee-Doo, let's randomize it!" because that could lead to some trouble in the future. Does anybody else think that the Banana Pharaoh could become a recess teacher?- 249 replies

Because if we come across the unlikely chance of making a tie, and one of the nominees happens to be scum, do you really want a scummy mayor? However, that would just put the mayor under scrutiny should they choose a town member to lynch.- 249 replies

This has probably been answered, but he was scum killed. The vig was my daddy who never came back from his vacation. Sorry I'm late, guys, I was filming my own Harlem Shake video! As for this whole mayor deal, we really need to wait and see who has the strongest townie vibe to be our mayor. The role may have a negative connotation with death, and jokingly throwing votes around certainly isn't going to help with finding a suitable mayor. Sorry about the "this has been answered", I was reading the first page still. I'm soooo excited for recess!!! I'm gonna swing, then I'm gonna slide, then I'm going to stalk Li'l Pandora....... (Continues to excitedly list several recess activities) Oh, and I'm gonna play tag! Does anybody like my hat? My daddy said it's quirky, and so much more smexier than that meanie Adam's hat. IT'S SO FLUFFFFFFYYYY!!!! Who wants to feel my hat? As for the mayor (again), it seems interesting that Li'l Cornelius wants to be mayor again, even after he died last time. It seems he is more town due to his fearlessness about being mayor, but I'm not 100% convinced that anybody needs to be the mayor yet.- 249 replies

I wasn't 100% sure, I did ask both of you if it was coincidental, and Rufus said that he was in contact with you, so I was probably just lucky.

What??? Too afraid to kill your mommy? But seriously, what? Why weren't you allowed to? It seems like a joke, but maybe it sort of wasn't. As for PMing you, I was mostly just trying to set up a town block. I knew there was something very, very off when I saw you and def using PM at a exact same time, so I actually thought you were either the day investigator or the other neutral.
