  1. Well, the capacitors did not work...sadly . Any other suggestions? If any please let me know. I think it is the wheels though. Thanks,Rail Co
  2. Well it depends on what country you are in but, there is Hobby Lobby, stain glass shop (of some sort), or for that matter most hobby stores. Rail Co
  3. Hmmm very strange. You must be really lucky to get one of those!
  4. efferman, This looks REALLY good. For some reason (i don't know why) the nose looks... different. I have no other suggestion but maybe it is just me that the nose looks different. It looks SO good. Brick-on. Rail Co.
  5. This is very cool. I love how detailed the train is, but I see a lot of train wheel in the front, if you chose to use it I have a suggestion. Just add (as LEGO calls it) "Angle Plate 1X2/2X2" to the front and back. (here is the link)http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Pick-A-Brick-ByTheme (use the design ID as 44728.)
  6. You can't have to many trains! Can you?
  7. That is a very good idea but I would not know how to do this.
  8. Thanks to all who have said such kind words. If anyone has any other suggestions and comments feel free to share them!
  9. WOW! I love this MOC very detailed. I really enjoy the trains!
  10. Hello, I have tried the copper tape. I have had a problem (very minor) of it not conducting perfectly without you pressing on it. I have found somewhat of a fix (if this problem happens) 1. find where it is that it is not conducting. 2. cut a small piece of tape and fold it in half. 3. put that in where it is not conducting I think i didn't put it on right for a couple of pieces. So this should not be a problem for you. I also think it is much better than paying about $80 for a pack of 8 straight track. Rail Co
  11. Well these I actually made, but I got the idea from a guy on Youtube with the name of mirekEnd. Here is the video I got it from: I am sorry i do not know where to buy these Thanks, Rail Co EDIT:With the problem of stuttering i also have a regular 9V motor and it works perfectly fine?
  12. I have not tried to use capacitors, but it does stutter when the wheels are not clean. Any ideas for keeping the wheels clean? Thanks, Rail Co
  13. Hello, I have made a Custom 9V Motor. My motor has been put on to my 7938 Passenger Train. It is using a PF motor with the metal wheels. This is the close up of the bogie. This is how the power gets into the actual train. I am using little brass pieces with soldered wire onto it. Thanks, Rail Co

  16. Hi bricks n bolts this is a very creative way to use a cheaper PF motor. Just if I had the 12v system Brick-on brick n bolts!
