Thanks for the review! I wish Rex had black armor, and we had the normal arm SBD. Also, sorry if this has been said, but it is supposed to look like a face. I think the cannon is a droid, with a droid controlling it. -Santhor

REVIEW: 2260 Ice Dragon Attack
Santhor replied to Dunjohn's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great review! I believe that the dragons are the ninjas' "special mounts". In the videos on Lego.com it shows them flying the dragons through a cavern, and I think the summer sets will contain two more (fire and earth). Also, it's nice to see an extra shurkien. EDIT: That weapons list is very odd. For example the silver-ish katana comes in more than 3 sets, and I don't see any NINJAGO set number 2216 (bley pickaxe), but there IS a 2116. They don't list the sword/"machete" from the Dojo, and probably others. -Santhor -
Thanks for the review! Was the collectible series 1 ninja 's head wrap new? Also, it would have been nice if it didn't 1) come with one of the gold weapons (I think of this a an army builder) and 2) didn't have so many colors on the launch pad. Why won't lego give us the push-down piece or the tan plates in matching colors with the environment? -Santhor

Review: 2504 Spinjitzu Dojo
Santhor replied to Cardinal Brick's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Perhaps their names are on the backs of their "dragon suits"? EDIT: Yes, their names are printed on the backs of their DX/dragon suits. -Santhor -
Good point. By the way, thanks The Soup Nazi, for pointing out the fire hydrant-Fire Brigade thing. Very nice observation. I can't help but wonder if it's a coincidence or if it means something? -Santhor

"Please do NOT feed the giant trolls, sir!" I love this, and all the details. The best part, IMHO, is the monkey habitat. -Santhor

Don't forget 2011 summer's chickens and goats! Personally, I don't think it will be a post office, because we already have a small post office in the GG. Also, I'd love it if it was a pet shop AND a post office, but that'd be too much like the Grocer. I don't think people would make a pet shop with a post office on top though, what with allergies and all that. However, waiting and being surprised is not a bad thing. -Santhor

Review: 2504 Spinjitzu Dojo
Santhor replied to Cardinal Brick's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Sorry if this was already asked, but it doesn't only come with one shuriken? Maybe there's a spare? I sure hope so. Anyway, great review, thanks for it! -Santhor-san -
Good point. I like the shack on the cliffs, regardless about the air-boat and the BURPs. But no ,it's not worth 80 euros. I don't own it, it just looks neat. -Santhor

Oh, I was just thinking that hair would be nice, seeing as I missed out on that black skater boy hair, and a new mold for Kai would be nice. Ah well. I'm still hoping for those bley-pearl nunchucks and shuriken! -Santhor

Sorry if this has been said before, but where are the purple and/or orange ninjas? Did they not make them, or are they (hopefully) coming later? Also, I wish we could get bley/pearl shurikens, bley/pearl nunchucks, and a brown handle-1 shade of bley connector and blade scythe. One more thing: where would one get that nice black helmet for Chopov? Thanks! -Santhor

I don't get what's so strange about NinjaGo...all it is is colorful ninjas who like getting dizzy fighting evil skeletons, and an evil guy on a flying thingy with a zapper and...yeah, I see your point. Sorry Oky, but I'm gonna have to go with Time Cruisers as weirder. That coastal set looks pretty neat though! -Santhor

A pet shop? Cool! I thought I heard that it'd maybe be a city square-type thing. Maybe that wasn't the modular, but it would be neat, I'm sure. If it is, my thoughts would be that it would contain: one smaller building, and on the back corner (like the Grand Emporium's) it would have a huge baseplate with the city square/farmer's market. NOTE: This is NOT anything for sure, just what I thought I heard, and my guess on how it MIGHT look, if it is anything more than an "I wish they'd make a..." set. -Santhor

REVIEW: 7327 Scorpion Pyramid
Santhor replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the great review. I kind of wish that on the half-track it would have a 1x2 1-hollow stud plate (forgot the specific name) instead of having the turret/machine gun to the left side. Also, I note that it has a dark bley Exo-Force robot claw, instead of an increasingly common black one. IMO, it kind of breaks up the "flow" of colors on it. By the way, I need an army of the Anubi (plural for Anubis?) now too! -Santhor -
Sorry if this has been asked, answered, or obvious, but what's "SE" on the Battle of Geonosis and Mace Windu's Starfighter? Is it Second Edition, or Special Edition? I must say, they're both nice sets. The two STAPs in MW's JS are nice, and the cannon is great in the Battle for Geonosis. However, I don't like that we always get rocket arm SBDs, and another Capt. Rex. He's a great character, but one of him is quite enough. -Santhor

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Santhor replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
You couldn't have put it better. Also, I'm hoping for some good "standard-issue" minifigs. Actually, anything that'll bring new flesh faces and cool sets is great with me. I say bring on the ships! If we don't like 'em, we can just burn them to the ocean floor! Hurrah! -Santhor -
REVIEW: 7327 Scorpion Pyramid
Santhor replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the great review! The only thing to make PQ better, in my opinion, is to have a new Kilroy (I think that's his name)-character. While the mummies are certainly worthy adversaries, a bad guy wanting the treasure for himself would be great. Especially if he had henchmen. -Santhor -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
Santhor replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Sorry if this has been answered, but when are these due to come out? 2011 Spring maybe? Thanks! -Santhor -
These look great and all, but I was kind of hoping for a purple/violet ninja. Oh well. Thanks anyway, I like the arena set! -Santhor

Pharaoh's Quest Anubis Keychain
Santhor replied to Lego_Hero's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Doesn't the magnet set come with one? That's still about $12-15 USD, but it's better than 2 for $100 or a hole in the head. (if you ask me) -Santhor -
Nice review. If you reverse his arms, he looks like a muscle-man! Hooray for raw meat and 50-pound barbells!! -Santhor

Nice review-I LOVE the "backwards hat"! Very funny! But I agree, I don't like the new shield. -Santhor
-
My only complaint is that it seems most of their weapons are very similar-two spears or lightsaber blades on a large shield-type thing. Kind of disappointing to me, because it seems a bit childish. "Ooh, I have a giant shield-blade-laser-thing! Fear me!" -Santhor

Thanks for the review. Do you happen to know why Nex and Evo are "2.0s"? Were they exclusives that I missed, or was it just to go with the others? And is there some storyline to why they didn't bring back Stringer and Bulk (my favorites)? Thanks! -Santhor

REVIEW: 7307 Flying Mummy Attack
Santhor replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the review, TheBrickster. I though the capture-claw on the bottom was another gatling gun. I think I would've liked it better that way. Can't wait to get my hands on those mummies! -Santhor, the Undead King of Egypt
