  1. SuperBagel, TazManiac, and Dannylonglegs: 1 point for each of you! Good luck to all! -Santhor
  2. Okay, thank you. Now all I need to do is think of a clever building technique... -Santhor
  3. Thanks Rick! So they don't really have to be anything specific, just (probably) higher price, lots of pieces, etc., correct? -Santhor
  4. I'm very sorry, but I still don't understand the Direct-to-Consumer thing. Is that a set that's in or (before or after) a current series with no other sets released at the same time? Anyway, thanks for this contest, the prizes sound absolutely amazing! -Santhor
  5. I'll guess it's an Atlantis, Pharaoh's Quest, and NinjaGo MOC contest with the Laersk container or train as one prize, the Vladek's Dark Fortress (Dark red) as another, and the Scorpion's Pyramid? as the last. Except for a few things: This wouldn't be the biggest prize pool ever, (perhaps several copies of large sets are being given out) it was light, not laersk, blue (maybe the Medieval Market Village), and I'm probably the only one who bought, and inevitably took apart and lost, his/her Vladek's Dark Fortress. The dark red could be Atlantis. The red color scheme plus the DARK depths of the ocean, or something. -Santhor
  6. Oops, must've missed that. And to The Red Brick, I agree, it just seems that there's something special going on this year. Maybe it's because this is the first time I've waited for the release. -Santhor
  7. I'm surprised that Lego Shop@Home doesn't have it already, with a "Coming soon, on (March 1st?)". It must be good, seeing as it's such a secret. Maybe it's double-sized? THAT would be grandiose. -Santhor
  8. Nice! I love how you put 99 in all of these. Personally, I found him to be pretty cool, kind, etc. Also, if you want to go "hardcore" on Domino Squad, I thought that modded and recolored Mandalorian helmet (like in the new BP) would look perfect for them. With a lighter gray paint job, and clear (or non-existent) visor, or course. -Santhor
  9. Okay people, who wants to give me all their Wolfpack troopers once they buy the Frigate? What? No one?? All right then, look out Bricklink, HERE I COME!! (in a few months) -Santhor
  10. Wow, thanks for these pictures! My only gripe: why is the frigate so small-ish? If that's 120 USD, then there must be something wrong. (I'll probably get it anyway, for the clones and whatnot) Also, am I the only who noticed that there are no standard clones released, or to be released, in 2011? I wonder if in the Clone Wars they'll change to Phase 2 soon? EDIT: If anyone else watches the Clone Wars, in Season 3, episode 2 (ARC Troopers) Fives and Echo from season 1 look a LOT like the two Wolfpack troops. -Santhor
  11. These are awesome! My only complaint: the INCONSISTENCY NINJA has struck here too! *deep breaths* I really, really hate when my troops can't be consistent. Mis-matched helmets, wrong-colored legs (Castle, 2007-09), etc. Oh well. Hopefully by summer extra helmets will cost less. Yay for the new weapons! -Santhor
  12. Is it just me, or is the surfer/snowboarder thing (as well as a new trend of fishermen) getting kinda old? Also, this wave looks almost as good, if not better, than Series 4! -Santhor
  13. Ah, I see. Even though in the first episode of season 2 (Holocron Heist?) when they were on (Felucia?) the wolfpack troops who were rescuing Anikan, Obi-Wan, Captain Rex and the gang still had dark red. Like said though, they're still great. If only they'd come in a smaller set... Oh, and it seems I have to brush up on my Clone Wars knowledge. -Santhor
  14. Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for the help, and I too like this way better! -Santhor
  15. Sorry if this has been said but I think Wolfpacks are supposed to be dark red...they still look great though! -Santhor
  16. I'm going to have to get some of these, if for nothing else but those sword satchels... -Santhor
  17. Okay. Time to get ten boxes of series 4 (when they come out). My favorites: the musketeer, sailor, punk, safety suit, viking, hockey player, and...well, all the rest of them! -Santhor
  18. In the U.S. at least, and on Walmart.com, the Clone Turbo Tank is marked down to a whopping $93.87 USD, the Slave 1 at $62.67 USD, the Separatist Shuttle racks up at $24.54, and the new battle packs at $11.54. NOTE: They also have a few sets at a couple dollars off, namely Plo Koon's Starfighter and General G.'s Starfighter. (I probably missed some others too) Personal Note: Leave some for me, because I need to get a bit of extra money before I go buying all the new, old, and every other set! -Santhor
  19. Good night admiral. While I didn't know him personally, I think we've all felt the blow of one of our family's passing. My sincerest condolences to his mother and brother. "The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they he did here." -from The Gettysburg Address, by Abraham Lincoln ... -Santhor
  20. Yes, when I've done a bit o' spinning, I have encountered the minifig (especially the skellies) coming off without hitting anything. -Santhor
  21. Yes, but if you have 2 of the glaive/javelin that comes in the Dojo, you can use both, keep your balance, and smash the opponents. Otherwise, any pole weapon, especially double scythes, or staff, spear, maybe even the sword would work just as well, I think. NOTE: I haven't played (I only have one spinner ), but these ones make sense to me. Fighting at a distance is (probably) the key to winning. Also, get some good cards, and a good character, and that will help a lot. -Santhor, the Spinjitzu Master
  22. My random thoughts-minifigures can't be naturally fat. Not even the new collectible sumo wrestler. Just a fact of plastic life there. I guess they protest fast food? Mine do, at least, but ice cream is okay (Grand Emporium). -Santhor
  23. That would be nice, but (sort of) like I said before, what if an innocent mail-wanter is allergic to animals (vice-versa of what you said)? Otherwise, my dog is afraid of stairs, so how would they get those pets up? However, if it is possible (I'm thinking side-by-side) that'd be excellent. (By the way, I like to use parentheses ) -Santhor
  24. That's true, but some might say that the Dojo and/or the Battle Arena are over-priced at $50 USD. (I think so, at least) *off-topic mode* However, I found the Dojo at Target (USA) for $40 the other day. It's a great set, and WAY more enjoyable knowing you got a discount. *resume on-topicness*
  25. I agree. Look at every set with a spinner; they're never good values, IMO. It'd be nice if they could take out the spinner & cards and drop the price a bit. -Santhor
