  1. What makes you think there are hand movements?
  2. Any of those would do nicely. Either will do just so long as the file size isn't too big. MP3s are usually smaller in file size. Yes you are correct, but in this instance there is no mouth movement so it shouldn't matter too much. As soon as possible. You could probably buy a cheap one for 10 bucks that would do the job.
  3. Oh my word it is! Do we know who the creator is? They should know I'd like it frontpaged on Classic-Pirates.com since it's so brilliant!
  4. Axle is working on a promotional video for the It's "A Pirate's Life" competition and we need a more "piratey" voice. The line we need in the voice is: "Ahoy! Take part the It’s 'A Pirate’s Life' competition. The aim is to design a SYSTEM Pirate LEGO set and win fabulous prizes! Visit Classic-Pirates.com for more details” So if anybody has this capability then tell us right away!
  5. Now that just depends on the time and place you're setting your MOC. There are many variations of the old musket, some baring a stronger resemblance to the LEGO muskets than others.
  6. I like the originality of this MOC and I think we should frontpage it on Classic-Pirates.com in the near future
  7. Were you fast onto this one Phred! I agree, we probably don't need a third thread about ideas for future Pirate set releases just at the moment.
  8. I've got a great idea Sinner - how about you get the LEGO Group to become your coverts? I think that would work in your favour for a positive outcome to the question this thread poses
  9. Awwwww... What about one of those gold crowns instead?
  10. My Updates: 6251 Pirate Mini-figures - MISB 6265 Saber Island - USED The Saber Island won't stay with me for long though...
  11. UPDATE It was bothering me how the Creating Thumbnail Links Tutorial was buried 12 or so posts into this thread. So I split and moved those posts into their own threads then changed this thread into a discussion for Tutorials we don't yet have. And rewrote Bonaparte's first post X-D So if somebody wants to create a Tutorial then they post their ideas here. If somebody wants a Tutorial created for them, then they request it here. The Creating Thumbnail Links Tutorial has been moved here
  12. Is this one of those "what pieces outside the Pirate theme could be used" threads?
  13. Oh yes, that would be lovely. But I'd feel inclined to wear a tutu for some reason... Maybe replace the morion with a tiara...
  14. Well it's about bloody time It appears you've caught me out! Do you have anymore pictures of this creation? Ideally pictures in which I'm in fulll focus with my fabulously stunning pink wand. Hmmm... That doesn't seem like a politically correct thing to write...
  15. I didn't have time to elaborate earlier so I'll do it now. Probably a month too late. But anyway... First of all when I say the price is to steep, I mean for my finances. I'm not saying the sets aren't worth their price. A$129.99 is just too much for me in one hit and it also costs another A$35.00 to ship it to Australia. So that's $154.99 in total. There are no LEGO Brand stores in my area, or anywhere in Australia as far as I'm aware, making shipping the only method of obtainment. My other quandary is I don't understand why the sets cost US$99.99 in the USA which is A$104.99. Why I'm paying an extra A$25 for the same product when I'm already paying A$35 for the shipping? Are there hidden charges that are not already factored into the initial price? If Star Justice was released as sets which I could buy individually then from a store, then I'd definitely consider buying them.
  16. I was actually disappointed that Star Justice and Space Skulls were only released as two Factory Sets. I thought the sets looked awesome because they modernised Classic-Space and expecting them to be released as new Space theme. How wrong was I! So if a similar thing happened with new Pirate sets I'd be quite annoyed.
  17. Well thank you for that, but you could have just posted in the existing thread...
  18. Very well done sir! Did you also make the torso for that "Jack Sparrowesque" mini-figure at the front?
  19. I won't be creating anything in LEGO in the near future, but you could always get pictures for the benefit of those who do.
  20. These fellows appear as though they'd make a good "new" indigenous tribe for the Pirate's universe. We'll have to procure some of these mini-figures and get building...
  21. I've looked at the screen shots... This game certainly looks appealing so I'm definitely not going to download it because it'll be a distraction I don't need. Is there anything in the game that could be a MOCing inspiration?
  22. That Pirate's smiling face looks awfully familiar from somewhere...
  23. I find this hilarious! Particularly the way the pirates turn to look at each other as if to say "WHAT THE HELL???" Maybe this would make an interesting frontpage news item.
  24. Excellent work! *y* Dare I say there's even a desktop wallpaper based on one of those promotional images? One that's even as large as glorious 1680 x 1050 resolution?
