Now for my thoughts on Armada Sentry... It's a nice simple set, and unfortunately only one of two Imperial Armada sets. I think it would go well in conjunction with a much larger land-based Imperial set because Armada Sentry is too insignificant by itself. You have a solitary Imperial Armada mini-figure manning a crane and a boat but I don't think one mini-figure cuts it in a set this size. There would be greater playability if a second Imperial Armada mini-figure was included, but alas, this is not the case and the solitary mini-figure must do everything himself! For a small set the design is interesting enough, there's still plenty of accessories and the green doors are exclusive to the set - so it has some things to offer. Though it's let down once again by its lack of a small Imperial Armada flag, instead we get a pair of failing carnival flags the breeze yet nothing uniquely designed for the Imperial Armada sub-theme. I'd give Armada Sentry 2.5 out 5. To get extra marks it needs a second mini-figure and a unique Imperial Armada flag.

Well that is one possibility, surely a grappling hook would have more possibility in the world of Pirates. I'm too stumped to think of anymore at this juncture which is why I asked everyone else.

I've noticed that the ship is in a glass cabinet - does that mean it's on display at a convention or LUG or something to that effect?

The mini-figures constructing it look rather modern for builders of a XVIII century pier. They better do a good job all the same!

This is an interesting idea - but how would one incorporate this into a Pirate MOC? They'd work well for pirates boarding a merchant ship no doubt!

You're one lucky Owl. I've been looking at the UK eBay auctions at the bottom of the Pirate Forum and there's always some ridiculously good deal happening. Right now there's a Caribbean Clipper for £10.50 and 9 hours left, in Australia it would be at least £20 to £25 at that stage of the auction.

Yeah, I saw the photo. I wasn't sure if the boxes had been opened which was why I asked. Sometimes it's hard to tell in pictures.

No, it's not very reassuring when a seller ignores your questions, but he might have been really busy. However he does have 100% positive feedback so he must be doing something right.

You could suggest that but these animations take a lot of work. I had too much involvement in this one, but if we could find others to take my place then I'd be all for them.
