  1. Actually there's a another MOC ship (well there's a few) but the one I have in mind is even bigger. Don't think it ever got finished though.
  2. Dear Black Rabbit, I suggest you re-read the first post of this thread because it tells you exactly where to post your entry.
  3. It is indeed a very nice collection you have Mr Dreamweb. The only problem I can see is you don't really have enough space to display it! I notice some of your wonderful MOC ships are hidden at the back - why not bring them to the front?
  4. Mayhem ensures in China! What was the decision behind making the water clear or white?
  5. Well now, that's a glorious creaton if I've ever seen one! It's like the pirate equivalent of Castle Grey Skull - did anyone have on of those. Well the concept is simple, they both have skull entrances and open up in the middle.
  6. This game has quite nice artwork. Do we know if the first and third images from Joey Lock's first post are actual screen shots from the game or are they merely artwork?
  7. Seems like you're doing pretty well then! Not many people could afford 400 Euro for a LEGO set so their MISB future is safe at that price!
  8. How much did you acquire them for, Jamtf?
  9. If you look at the upcoming soldier's fort you'll notice there's a navy blue torsoed figure which could be a bluecoat...
  10. Erdbeereis1, congratulations - you've managed to combined the names of the Red Beard Runner, Black Seas Barrcauda and Renegade Runner, while the ship has the closest colour scheme to the Imperial Flagship!
  11. Captain Zuloo, you're crazy!!! But yeah sure, I'd give them to you for Christmas but I don't believe in Christmas
  12. A video tutorial huh? I think this is the first video tutorial we've had. Only thing though... You didn't explain how the hair is attached to the mini-figure. Obviously it's clamped onto the mini-figures head beneath the hat, but that extra little detail is always helpful. Nonetheless, thank you for taking the time Captain Cavinano! The index men shall take care of it shortly.
  13. Classic-Pirates.com has just been moved to a better server and I'd forgot to reinstate the forum.classic-pirates.com sub-domain. It should be working now.
  14. You'll notice that SuvieD is selling collection so I'm not sure why you're quoting me... He does say he's only taking offers until the 13th, which I presume is of September so this collection may no longer be for sale.
  15. You've got to subscribe to the Mailing List to receive the newsletter: http://www.classic-pirates.com/subscribe.html
  16. Large pictures will slow down the loading in any forum, so base your conclusions on the time it takes the main Pirate Forum to download. A precise loading time probably isn't necessary, but then again it could help. What may be helpful is if users included their Internet connection speed. Well Australia is about 5 years behind in Internet technology so what do you expect?
  17. Click Here to vote in more Polls!!! Does the LEGO Pirate Forum take too long to load? One of the things that concerns me is the amount of take it takes the LEGO Pirates Forum skin to load. The first time it loads on my system (i.e. after a fresh Windows install) it may take a little long, but after the images are cached it's not too bad, of course this may not be the case for everyone else. The main loading hazard is the background with the sky, horizon and sea, remove that image and the forum skin will load noticeably faster but the downside is it won't look as nice. And yes, the eBay Advetisements may add to the load time but they can be turned off at any time. So now it's your turn, share your thoughts on the load time of the Pirate Forum skin.
  18. Usually threads requesting Pirate LEGO for sale are unsuccessful. There is a user named SuvieD who is selling his large collection so you might want to contact him. Here's the thread with pictures of what he's selling.
  19. I'd prefer that not to be the case so I could acquire more Pirate LEGO for less! Not that I acquire much for myself these days - it all goes into prize pools...
  20. The hair certainly brings out the Jack Sparrowness in the mini-figure, more so than without. Exactly what type of rope is it though?
  21. This is a pirate crew isn't it?
  22. Exactly how did this creation take 3 hours to build if you weren't putting a lot of effort into?
  23. Fat Tony, I like how you've positioned the BURPs on an angle. It's something quite commonly seem in natural geological formations but I think this is the first time I've seen someone use it in a MOC. Well a Pirate MOC at least.
  24. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Santa Claus has been stripped to his underwear and is having his face burnt off! As for cluttering... Cluttering can work if it's done in a certain way, new member DNL has created a very cluttered MOC but it actually helps the design rather than hinders it. Check it out!
