  1. We can't control how people vote at that level as that would prove to be a logistical nightmare. Contestants should chose 6 images which best represent their MOC entry. So whether that includes the back of the MOC is entirely upto the contestants. Yes it would. The reason of the 6 image limit is to force contestants to carefully select their 6 best images. If an entry can't be showcased in 6 images then there's a problem. If we allowed contestants to "merge" multiple smaller images into to 800 x 600 image then where does it end? Someone could merge fortyeight 100 x 100 images into one 800 x 600 image and that would be getting ridiculous. So one image per image is easiest for all.
  2. Captain Zuloo, it wasn't your crew who hijaked that tanker was it?
  3. It was recommended in the Creative Critic Award thread that you didn't leave all your feedback for each MOC in one post. So if you're really clever you could edit your previous feedback posts to leave just enough feedback to suffice the requirements yet give you something to work with for the Mini-Contest. But, if the MOC builder has already quoted or acknowleged your feedback then there's no point posting it again now - it would just be confusing.
  4. Of all the participants of the Pillage the Village Contest the Creative Critics have the most arduous task - providing feedback for as many entries as they possibly can. This is no doubt exhausting after all these weeks so we want to give the Creative Critics a little something extra... Another Prize! The first entrant to write 20 post of feedback (has to be a solid paragraph) before Friday 28th of November will win a 6257 Castaway's Raft. Terms & Conditions Entrants must have registered in the Creative Critic Award thread to participate. The winner will be the first entrant to have accumulated 20 posts of feedback. Each post must be a solid paragraph and therefore a few short sentences strung together will not be counted. Spam will result in immediate disqualification. [*]Only feedback left between Friday 21st (00:00 GMT) of November through till Friday 28th (00:00 GMT). Feedback left before and after those times will not be taken into consideration for the Mini-Contest. The contest ends as soon as the first entrant reaches 20 posts of solid feedback. If none of the entrants have accumulated 20 posts by Friday 28th (00:00 GMT) then nobody wins the prize. [*] The Classic-Pirates.com Staff will determine whether the feedback posts meet contest requirements. Their decision is final. Who May Participate? All forum Users and Classic-Pirates.com Volunteers. (Providing they've registered in Creative Critic Award thread) Eurobricks and Classic-Pirates.com Staff may sit and watch gleefully, but not participate. The really good stuff! Entering in the Mini-Contest also has strategical benefits: The winner of the Mini-Contest is also elligble to win the final Creative Critic Prizes, meaning entrants could win two prizes! Feedback left in the Mini-Contest WILL BE counted towards the final Creative Critic prizes. So make the feedback good! Entrants ARE NOT required to have left prior feedback to enter so newcomers are very welcome! Post in this thread after you've reached 20 posts Much faster if you let us know, rather than waiting for us to scour the forum. Exciting stuff! But no doubt some of you have questions so here's your opportunity to ask...
  5. Captain Zuloo, your understanding of the rules is quite good, you must have been paying close attention when you read them. Well done!
  6. ZCerberus, it's great to see you back! Will we be seeing any MOCs from you using the new pirate pieces in the near future?
  7. Hi LegoJoe, could you please tell me the name of this entry so I can correctly title this thread?
  8. Technically the answer is "Later this year (2008)" since they've already had a pre-release.
  9. Hey Svelte Corps, can I asked how much this Brick Beard's Bounty set you back in Australian dollars (including postage)?
  10. Dear WhiteFang sir, I believe he already answered the question, so just for you I shall quote it:
  11. Perhaps it's because the 2009 sets have a different Australian release date. They might not be released there until months after.
  12. Good work Bub! The website also has authentic prices too - so no more rumours!
  13. This thread needs a poll! So now this thead has a poll. Go and vote! Go on!

  16. This is great news! Would you like to go one step further and create a pictorial review for us? I'd be dubbed an international hero no doubt!
  17. Hi Card, thank you for sharing those prices! It's great you've decided to emerge from obscurity to share useful information with us. I've made a slight edit to your post to space the information out a little more.
  18. To quote his response on the Black Betty FlickR page.
  19. Sir Andrews is quite a talented bugger isn't he? I also quite enjoyed the Monkey Island series, well the first three games anyway, the whole shift 3D in the fourth game didn't really do it for me. Oh by the way... This MOC is first in a series of MOCs...
  20. This topic is better suited to the LEGO News & General Discussion forum and shall be moved there in the near future.

  23. Thank you for taking the time to share these pictures with us! We do in fact have a Reviewers Academy in which can teach you how to write the best reviews possible - let me know if you're interested.
  24. There's another 2009 Set Review on the horizon but we're looking for more eager set reviewers with decent writing and photography skills to write reviews for the remaining 2009 Pirate LEGO sets. Any takers?
  25. We've seen these before except what you're showing us is much better quality.
