  1. I was given mine yesterday. I felt like giving up on passing the reviewer's academy because of the sometimes-low quality of my images. After much encouragement to not give up, Whitefang gave me my title: Press on.
  2. Well thats easy...I ran out of slope pieces.
  3. Cool idea! I definitely prefer the finished one. It just looks a lot more detailed, accurate, and its a lot less angular and more curved than your rough version. Post a pic once its on your car!
  4. Thats a sweet deal for a great set. I live in Canada, and here its 95$ at any store, I've never seen it go on sale. Consider yourself lucky!
  5. Thank you for your kind words! Although, as Sandy pointed out to me a while ago, tiling isn't considered a SNOT technique. SNOT (Studs Not On Top) means that there are bricks rotated to the usual plane of building. This is usually accomplished by headlight bricks.
  6. I love this MOC! Yet another vehicle that would've been a sure winner in the Vehicle contest. Its too bad about the "land-only" restriction. I especially love the colour scheme, I didn't even know they made those slope pieces in pearl gold. Great MOC.
  7. As Legolas said definitely give Arealight credit, but still, very original figs, especially the heavy trooper and the shodow ones. Those are both very well done.
  8. Heres a little something I made about a week ago: Overall View: Knight Lookout: Battle on the front porch: C&C welcome!
  9. Awww.... thats awful. Ask KimT if he'll make an exception for this awesome MOC. (although he is a stingy old coot) Just kidding!
  10. Good MOC. It looks much better than your old one. Other than the incorrect colurs (which, as others have said, is hard to overcome), and its out of scale, although it is still a much better size than TLC's version from the MTT.
  11. Very nice! Especially since you only used one set. The overall profile is very sleek, and the thrusters on the back are very well designed. Just curious, why didn't you enter this in the Star Wars vehicle contest? You'd have a great chance of winning!
  12. Like infringing on Hinckley's banner-making rights?
  13. Happy birthday guys!
  14. Nice banner. For future reference, you could have just edited your previous post. In response to a previous sidebar I'd be all for a Star Wars month!

Very nicely done. The fact that you've added an interior without bulking up the ship too much is a feat in itself. Great work, and I can't wait for the next installment of this interesting series of MOCs.
  16. Good simple MOD. If I had the set, I would use it.
  17. Cute!? Its a weapon of war damn it! Oh, and don't worry about the gunner, hes expendable.
  18. This made me laugh. Very original idea and well designed. The rock formation and the boulder look good, as does "Sulfrix Jones".
  19. Ummm...kind of pointless as others have said. Also, the pictures are blurry and you might want to choose a more uncluttered background if you do another one.
  20. Very well done. Like a mecha of the Earth!
  21. Very well done. The colour scheme is good, and it looks pretty sleek. Good job, and I wish you luck in the voting.
  22. Whoops. I thought the republic and imperial insignias were the same. EDIT: I've just gone and looked, and the two symbols are different but they're quite similar. At any rate, I don't have any imperial logos, so it'll have to stay the way it has. @Darth Legolas: I hope so!
  23. I should hope so! Heres my entry: The all-terrain open walker. Many years after the fall of the republic, the empire sought to design new ground vehicles to replace existing ones. Designed as a replacement for the AT-RT walker, the AT-OW did not see much use in the field. It was intended as a sort of test to see what sorts of walkers would be necessary in the civil war. The AT-OW was deemed unfit for combat and was soon replaced by the AT-ST. Just a note, this is completely a custom creation, it has never been mentioned in Star Wars. Overall Shot Front View Back View Right Side Left Side Top View Brickshelf Folder (when moderated) C&C welcome!
  24. Amazingly well done! In my opinion, much better than the first (which is saying alot) . Again, your realistic looking foliage and rock formations astound me. Also, the wooden tower is good, its simple but looks very realistic. Awesome MOC! I hope it gets frontpaged like the first!
