Avalonia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Zach Mills replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
Considering the fact that the angry face was in just about every non-licensed set in 2009-10, I'm sure you must have a one! That is quite a large payment. As if shipping isn't enough! -

Actually, he was quite happy when he turned yellow! I decided to ditch the happy face, as it's quite rare, and I wanted to make sure that people could replicate him easily if they wanted to. -

I was thinking of doing a Moc showing how the two met. You were heading up the road to visit the pearl city, I was heading down the road to buy some rum, and some bandits decided to meet us in the middle. Sound good? -

On that note, I've wanted to give your sig a speaking role in a Moc for a while, but I have yet to aquire a body for him. -
It's definately where I got the inspiration from. I made the scene almost imediately after finishing Assassins Creed 3.

How would people feel about some sort of central Avalonian storyline? I think that one of the best things about GoH is how everyone is building on the same level, in the sense that, when the challenge is issued to say, hunt for the elemental crystals, everyone does so, and so it ends up really feeling like all of our charecters are on the same wavelength. Having a small internal thing running would be awesome. I mean, how alive would Avalonia feel if we had a challenge that brought everyone to say, Benoic, and it included a couple of different sigfigs or other charecters people have created, and so on. Seeing people build mocs using other peoples ideas, even if it's just a charecter that someone else had created would be amazing. -

Wow. I just had a nap, and in said nap I had a dream. In said dream, someone had put GoH on Cuusso, and it had become an official theme. I was standing around in my local toy store panicing, because I didn't have enough money to buy the set that had my sigfig in it. Damn, wouldn't GoH make such an awesome castle subtheme? -

I think the story is just getting interesting. Though there may not be that hype that GoH had when it first started, but now that it's down to the action, I think everyone should be getting exited again. I really want to get in the game properly. I still haven't built anything substantial, and I really want to show off what I have. The second I can get my hands on a big collection of gray bricks and brown plates, I'm going to build until I can't feel my fingers. -

And so, he returns. Good to see you around DC! -
THat dude isn't actually my sigfig. I didn't really thing about that to be honest. Don't worry! I'm getting all this out of my system now. When I come to Benoic, I will bring elven shrines, not assassins!

My bad! Changed. Thanks guys. I'll build something with more meat to it next time.

I thought someone might say that, and rightfully so too. This was a quick think, mainly to test some figure posing, and to show off that cape mod. My big scene is going good, but it is stalled. I'm buying some more bricks from a local BL seller. I do want to try some new things as far as foilage goes, but I don't have the pieces to build any of my ideas.

The elven bureaucrat who's name I believe to be 'Elidor' is to traveling to the pearl city this mourning, in order to finalize a trade deal between the Avalonian government, and his clan. Unbeknown to the Avalonians, He has only the intention of murdering our leader, as the start of a long campaign to overthrow the government. His intention was to open the gate for an attack squad, so that they could take down the city from the inside, leaving Avalonia divided for them to conquer. It's no secret that Elves consider themselves smarter than men, but this particular elf must have thought than all men were idiots. Otherwise, he may have at least tried to hide the fact that he payed off Albions gate guards. I'm going to finish this before it becomes an issue.

I'm assuming that these combo's will be the standard for the AAG? I really wish I had seen this before cutting up my one and only graduate gown.

I'm sorry to Necropost, but I had a burning question. Is that me standing out the front?

Hasn't Nannan uploaded a tutorial on that technique? -
Something very odd is at work here.

Good to be back. Screw studying, I totally prefer hanging out on Eurobricks. -
I want one!

Loving the use of that planet piece, and the build is awesome, looks very Elven. I think this is about the third GoH moc I've seem which showes Elves wearing or wielding golden artifacts. Gives me some ideas.

I'm not sure which is more odd. The fact that this build seems to be a collection of techniques and charecters from mulitple builders, or the fact that an Avalonian is taking a bundle of flowers (daffodils?) to Nocturnus.

When it comes to aftermarket parts, I have spent a small fortune on them, so I obviously like them. However, I only use pieces that fit in with regular Lego, so no ultra detailed pieces made out of multicolored resin. -

Your sigfig, fighting a large spider, or a small dragon.
