  1. Thanks for doing this render! It looks really cool. I agree that you can still tell it's computer-generated, but I think it's an awesome look. It seems like a view of the Tumbler as seen on the Batcomputer.
  2. Thanks for the awesome comparison pics, BaraSH! It's really cool to see the differences between the two sets. They're both great...but if I had to pick a favourite it'd be 4866.
  3. I think the bottom line is this; if it hasn't been posted anywhere, then it's eligible for the contest. But if you've posted the model somewhere, it doesn't count. If you do post your "unfinished version" BEFORE the contest starts, I don't think you can enter it in the contest. But if you have it built and un-posted, then it's good to go! Of course, I'm just stating what I think the rules are. I'm sure a mod can come and clear everything up.
  4. Awesome! It looks just like your average messy room. The look on the boy's face is priceless! And the monster is sufficiently creepy.
  5. Stunning. First of all, the outpost is great. But it's the other parts that blow me away! The water - awesome. And you built some of the best rocks and cliffs I've ever seen! Beautiful work.
  6. Sweet! This is a great MOC. I love the building, the cliff/base, the figure posing, the withered tree...and that monster thing is creepy as heck!
  7. It's great to see some from you, "The Penguin"! They're all hilarious. When's your next batch of DC customs being shown off? I can't wait.
  8. I'm about to start a Brickset inventory, so I sure hope that there's a BrickUtils-Brickset version planned.
  9. That's a sweet creation! I like that you did a Mountie. The render and decoration both turned out great. Thumbs up!
  10. Nearly missed a birthday topic! Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear DCeeeeeeeeee, Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday DC! You're one of the best builders around, so I hope you were relaxing yesterday! Nobody can work all the time.
  11. Holy smokes, Oky! That Superman-in-flight one, is one of the best Lego photographs I've ever seen! I'm using it as an iPod Touch lockscreen, if that's okay.
  12. Congrats, guys! You all deserve your prizes. Your entries were stunning! Good job by everyone who participated. Maybe I'll get in on some building action next time! (Actually...I think I will, for SoF!)
  13. Looks great! Now I kinda want one. Did you use decals or paint?
  14. That's one big project! I like it. It reminds me of something you'd see in the LEGO Club magazine or in a LEGOLAND! Awesome job.
  15. No problem, Souperlizard! I hope ya have a great time and become an active member of the community. ;)

  16. Yikes! Nearly forgot to vote. Here's my top entries: 8. Praiter Yed - 1 15. ACPin - 1 21. Rook - 1 10. Darkblane - 1 7. NinjaNin - 1
  17. Wow, these are great! Brick-built astromechs tend to impress me. The one in flight is brilliant!
  18. You should not stop! It's fantastic to see another great MOC from you every day. I like the rotating circular jet-y parts. Keep it up!
  19. I'm aware of that. I was referring to The Hobbit and Clone Wars LEGO, not the source material. (And by the way...TCW isn't that bad.)
  20. I'd say The Hobbit is more or less a "subtheme" of Lord of the Rings, kinda like Clone Wars and Star Wars.
  21. Nice one! You're becoming great at building detailed ships in LDD. From this picture it almost looks like a mech! My only criticism is that it seems off-balance. It looks like it might tip over backwards if it were built IRL.
  22. Very nice! The animation is so smooth, it's quite a pleasure to watch. I'm looking forward to more brickfilms from you!
  23. Truly fantastic MOC! I could spend a very long time listing all of the details I like about it, but I'd never be able to get them all! So let me just say this: Everything about it is awesome.
  24. Nice MOC! I like the upwards-sloping hill.
  25. Wow! I can see why you got first place. I love everything about it. The current, the foaming water, the rock-shaping, the foliage, the native islander on the side...just to name a few things.
