  1. Well, I'm hoping you're right. If this is the case, I'll be buying Spidey Chase and the TDKR set for sure...the others will have to depend on pics, but at the moment I'll probably pass on them. I'm saving my money for LOTR and The Hobbit!
  2. Some more thoughts from me : I'm sure an Arkham set will be released, because several characters are still unaccounted for. Robin, Jail-Suit Joker, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Harley Quin/Harleen Quinzel, and Winged Batman. I hope that the TDKR set isn't too expensive...I'm guessing in the $90+ range, though. And at risk of going slightly off-topic - "Hulk_Smash", you've seen the Star Wars and Superheroes catalogue sections. Any chance you can share a bit of info for The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings?
  3. The "Spiderman Chase" set sounds like a fairly cheap way to get Spidey, Nick Fury, and Venom, so it'll probably be a must-buy. I'm waiting for pics to decide on the Batman sets.
  4. Great MOC! It's got the perfect shaping and detailing. Any plans to brick-build it?
  5. It's a neat project. I think I'll have to wait to see a finished model to decide, but if it turns out good...I'd like to have the Curiosity Rover!
  6. It's nice to see a different take on the Tumbler mixing it up! Interestingly smooth and curved. And it does fit Batman! That's always a bonus.
  7. Do you mean a Bazaar for Licensed, Star Wars, Historic, etc? I really like that idea! It'd be neat to just browse through certain "categories".
  8. The box is cool. It has that Avengers "feel" and colourscheme to it. But my favourite part is the Brick Buddies! I love how creatively built they are, and recognizable too!
  9. Thanks for sharing, ACPin! It's great to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of one of my favourite builders.
  10. That is an awesome shot, friedchikenfairy! Savage does make for great pics, and you definitely did him justice.
  11. Excellent tank! Built very cleanly, it appeals to the eyes. I particularly like the treads/wheels.
  12. Sounds like a great batch of sets! Luckily, not all are ones I'll want to buy.
  13. Actually, in "Bored of the Rings," it says that a group of hobbits can take down the occasional farmer or constipated squirrel. You guys are completely downplaying Hobbits! In Moria, Sam takes down some Orcs, and endures a nasty head gash to boot! And Merry chops off several Orcs' hands and arms before being captured. (Note: both events are in the books.)
  14. Simple but creative little build. I like the use of yellow minifig hands in the nest!
  15. Where/how did you see the catalogue? Well, regardless of how you saw it, I can't wait for pictures! Even if the A-Wing and ARC 170 aren't real sets.
  16. Yes, I do know! I gave it a Google search, and "ushabia namba kee koolee" is a phrase in Jawaese (which Jawa's speak). It means, "Does it have air-conditioning?". Basically TLG wants to know if the model has air-conditioning.
  17. Quite a neat little set! Thanks for the pics. I like some of the techniques used in it. I'll have to try to get at least one copy!
  18. Fantastic designing! I love the desk, top and legs! I hope you do more small MOCs along these lines.
  19. WOW! This is the most impressive LEGO model of a real ship that I've ever seen! So massive, and so accurate to the real thing. I'm gonna spend the next little while poring over these pictures!
  20. Very cool micro MOC! All of it's done really well, but my favourite parts are the trees. I love the technique you used for them.
  21. Neat work. The one that caught my eye was the Prototype Iron Man suit. I think it's a good idea! Your version was interesting, but I thought maybe it could look even better with a grey/seemingly-robotic torso and legs underneath. Either way, good job!
  22. I mean they don't exactly fit the style TLG usually uses. The shaping on Batman's and Robin's mouths somehow seem off. Also, Robin's and Two-Face's eyes aren't the standard shape and size for minifigs. (Especially Robin's.) The Joker's eyes are perfect, though! Like I said before, I love the torsos. And I think with a bit of work, the faces could be equally great!
  23. Well, here I am updating my sig-fig again! I do that whenever I have the parts to make it look more like I do IRL. So...my latest version can be seen in my signature. Frodo's head (it's perfect!), Young Han Solo hair, and Casual Harry Potter torso and legs. I'm really pleased with it.
  24. I'm not a huge fan of the heads...they're too off-par with Lego's face designs. But the torsos are amazing!! I LOVE the amount of detail you put into them. Keep it up!
  25. Awesome! The rocky ground looks really neat. Nice job!
