  1. What a cool project! I enjoyed seeing it progress. Looks like there was plenty of beer to go around. And Greenie, nice slicked back hairdo.
  2. Thanks a lot guys! Here's a little fun fact; originally the blue water was going to be lime green for a toxic swamp, but I decided this would look a little better.
  3. That's good news! The chrome Vader is a much better choice for a cover. Did it happen to show the exclusive minifigure?
  4. A quaint little pond is the perfect site for a nice leg of turkey. Thanks!
  5. I've definitely been doing my part in helping the new line stay afloat. I hope they continue them for a long time.
  6. Hmmm, where did you hear that? I'd be curious as to why they aren't selling well in the U.K.... Usually we get sort of a "set list" from someone around July, and then if last year is any indicator, they will be showing up at TRU and LEGO stores in November or so. Hopefully this year they will find their way to regular stores that early too.
  7. What a fantastic little MOC. The bike is beautifully built, and the posing of the minifig is superb. Excellent work all around.
  8. Thanks. I would like to make it move, but I think it would have to be bulked up a lot in order to do so and it might look a bit odd then. EDIT: Actually, let me clarify. The track can slide along as it is on tiles, but the track doesn't loop around so it just falls off eventually. If you were to build it larger you could probably make a longer track and have it loop under I think...
  9. Erdbeereis

    Blasphemy!

Yes, please stop posting those pictures. Once was O.K. but it has gotten a bit out of hand. That is quite scary Cutlass, certainly reminds me of the Fabuland Joker. I don't remember ever abusing a LEGO piece. Except, I chewed up one of these once. I used to love to chew on rubber things. But, that was a long time ago!
  10. I have received both of my prizes now, thanks so much ISC and Hinckley for donating them. They are all really great.
  11. Nice special edition minifig review ISC! I can't wait to pick mine up in a few days, it looks like a lovely minifig.
  12. Happy happy birthday to you! Hopefully you have a great day; to help you out in doing so, here's an Erdbeereis from me. Alles gute zum Geburtstag!
  13. That is really a fantastic set, thanks so much for the review Mania! The minifigures are top-notch; 2 brand new ones, I simply love the Gold Knight with his beautifully printed armor and the queen is excellent as well. What I really like is that TLG doesn't seem to be so cheap anymore with minifigures, the fact that this set has 2 brand new ones and one with a brilliant new head (Not to mention all of the back printing) shows that TLG isn't just giving us the same minifigures in almost every set. The design of the tower and drawbridge are also nice. They are not mind-blowing in the detail department but that being said, it looks very solid. I'll definitely want this one. Thanks again for the lovely reviews Mania, I look forward to the next installment.
  14. Captain Green Hair - 2 points (Lovely water technique.) Captain Zuloo - 1 point (He included all of the Shipyardigans, what's not to love?! Thanks for the votes so far guys! Even if I don't win, I'm honored to have gotten as many votes as I have so far. And, thanks a lot Zorro for organizing.
  15. But then you could be arrested for torture! I'm very excited to see all of the great coverage from Brickworld this year, especially this and the EB sig fig group photo hosted by Stash.
  16. Welcome to our friendly community Striker! I hope you enjoy yourself, and I'll see you around.
  17. Mine are from the Indiana Jones Jungle Cutter set. They have some really nice uses, for example you can connect a few and put plates or tiles on top to get a rounded shape.
  18. I'll look forward to seeing you and your reviews there Striker!
  19. I believe you can send P.M.s pretty much right away, maybe 20 posts or so. It used to be as soon as you joined, but I think the staff changed it to a few posts to avoid spammers.
  20. Thanks a lot guys! I enjoyed making it.
  21. That would be great for me as well! I'd love to tour Hinckley's project in minifig form.
  22. Unfortunately no, but I'm sure it could be done.
  23. I'm flying to Germany on Wednesday, So I thought I'd build something to get in the traveling mood. "Caution, moving walkway is nearing its end. Please watch your step, thank you." Thanks!
  24. Stunning work Bonaparte! So many great details; the sails and rigging are superb and the whole ship has a great shape. Lovely color scheme as well. Beautiful MOC!
  25. That's looking excellent you guys. I love the siding of the building, very modern. I can't wait to see the rest of it!
