  1. A very happy birthday to you my fellow Shipyard Master. Hope your special day is filled with LEGO, and not too many Ebay threads. Sandy, I hope you have a fantastic day as well!
  2. I simply can't wait to see this! I have a feeling it'll be excellent.
  3. I always knew you were a news anchor Kim! Here's a picture of our beloved Star Wars mod in uniform, ready to go on-air. What a face-melting smile! And I MUST find out how you do your hair. "Well Jane, looks like we have a big storm brewing in the East tonight. A chance of high winds and maybe some hail as well."
  4. I would love to get it, but unfortunately it's still not available in the US. I'm very excited for it.
  5. Oh god, don't let Svelty buy that. He'll make a review saying it's my head on there. I can see it now, "It seems Erdy has sold himself to LEGO to be used a a scratching post, what has happened to his brain?...."
  6. Hmmm... Although this certainly is a great looking set, I'm not all that impressed with it as I was with the other 2 modular buildings. It's just ttoo flat at the front for me compared to GG and CC and just doesn't strike me as amazing. I'm 100% with Svelty and Holodoc on this one. It's obviously a nice set, but not as fantastic as anticipated in my opinion. I am certainly very excited to see a review, and to see some of the building techniques used, especially for the ping pong table.
  7. It may not be in every store, I've only been to the ones in Minnesota and Munich, Germany.
  8. We try to encourage people on Eurobricks, so even if something is not your favorite you should still try to present some positive feedback along with what needs work. At least provide some ideas that Soman could use to improve his creation. Keep at it Soman, I'd love to see more work from you!
  9. I think he means that we'll have a set list soon enough, and to be patient.
  10. Happy birthday to you! Hope you have a great day.
  11. For Xbox 360 it gets you achievements once you get a certain amount. It also gets you cheats that you can use, such as playing the game in a sepia tone with ragtime music among others.
  12. I don't think it matters Pirates forever. I have a Mac as well and it works fine for the writing and everything. The only thing I don't do with it though is upload pictures, as for some reason it always makes them too small when I upload. But I haven't played around with it, so I'm sure it can probably be fixed. I believe Def, one of the teachers, uses a Mac and his reviews are excellent. I hope to see you in the Academy!
  13. I believe that every LEGO store has a build a minifig, but I'm not positive. I've been to the Mall of America store and the Munich Germany store, and the Munich one had a much better selection. The Mall of America had only those stupid basketball legs for legs, but I did find a Princess Leia Slave torso. In Minnesota I got these: In Munich I found these: Build you own minifig is very weird, they have the most random parts. For example they had that indian head, and an old brown Kepi. I really wonder where they get those old pieces...
  14. That would be excellent. Another piece I really want is an inverted cheese slope. I've needed that SO many times before.
  15. Haha! That's excellent. Thanks for posting Kirk.
  16. I don't really think he was being arrogant. He just was saying he doesn't expect any exciting new figures....
  17. Just outstanding. The curved towers are so lovely, and the amount of detail put into everything is amazing. Great landscaping as well. A+ MOC.
  18. I absolutely love the series. COD 4 was the first one that I got, and it is still my favorite game ever. The graphics are superb, and the single player campaign has some really thrilling moments. Multiplayer is excellent as well, and keeps you interested in the game. A game needs good multiplayer to last a long time that's for sure. COD World at War was another great game, but I don't like it as much as I do number 4, mainly because I prefer the modern feel of 4. I am so excited for Modern Warfare 2. The snow level that I saw a video of had a similar effect on me as the "Ghilllie in the Mist" video I saw last year for COD 4. It just looks so dramatic, and as always the graphics are superb. It's interesting that Soap is now your boss. Only have to wait until November now!
  19. Just to add onto what Shadows said, I recently closed a thread where someone needed help with their love life. I don't know about you, but in my opinion that is a very silly thing to post on a primarily LEGO based site, even if it's in community. I think some threads are fun, for example the "what did you buy today" thread, and the "What's your favorite food" thread are 2 that I always enjoy reading. It's just a matter of finding the right balance of good discussion and waste of space.
  20. Strange, the US Amazon site doesn't have the new picture up yet. It's still the old cover.
  21. I know! I always thought that Kim's item was a Polar Bear Head Potty Chair or something. It's funny what a strange angle can do to your brain.
  22. That looks lovely! Thanks for the pic! I'm glad I've got mine pre-ordered already.
  23. Unless you live in the US, then it would be spelled. Chrome C3po is probably the most expensive regular minifig.
  24. Great work Zorro! You've definitely earned it!
  25. I do wonder if this will make it to S@H soon. It would be a fantastic thing to get, so shiny!
