Don't worry, you're not the only one. My Target (like I said before) has very minimal discounts.
-
The new SW Pirate Tank from Target.
-
Very sad.... It will be remembered, and at least soon we will have a lovely mini version made by our good green haired friend to remember it even better.
-
Happy Birthday my silver-Stormtrooper sender! Hope you have a fantastic day.
-
How would they make a STAP mini? It's already pretty darn small.
-
I knew it had been posted in the other thread already, I just wanted to make it have it's own thread for frontpage purposes. It would have been a bit confusing for the article for this link to the same thread as the tic-tac-toe and Brickmaster set.
-
Hehe, too right. I eagerly await news of next year's Pirates.
-
Thanks to Eurobricks member Alywin, we have exciting news! LEGO is releasing a new Pirates Battle Pack, plus a coin bank. It seems to be a great way of getting the Admiral for a cheap price.
-
Just got back from my Target, and they had a few new SW sets. They had: The new Y-Wing, Pirate Tank, the Tank Droid and Echo Base.

Thanks! I've already decided to make it less uniform for my larger MOC that I have planned. This was sort of just a test to see how the idea would go over, and if anyone had any suggestions.
-
Thank so much everyone! Dennimator, feel free to use the arch idea, I've seen many other people besides me use that anyway.
-
Yep, it's some gigantic bird poop. There's nothing smaller than a round 1 x 1 plate unfortunately.

Actually, I asked my friend in Austria to get a Pick A Brick cup of them from the LEGO Store Munich. On Bricklink I found that the amount I needed (about 700) would cost around $65. So I'm glad my friend came through for me.

I recently ordered another 600 or so for a new project. He's just excited about playing soccer with his buddy.

Let's take a stroll along the river... I built this mainly to try out the water idea, which I'll probably use in much larger scale in a future MOC. Flickr page. Thanks!

Sounds like fun! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun, and take home many good experiences. Airline Travel: Dress in layers, as the temperature can vary dramatically between cities, and also just on the plane compared to the airport. Bring some entertainment; books, handheld gaming device such as DS or PSP, Laptop, anything like that. You always want to have something to do, and SkyMall doesn't provide hours of entertainment. Ideas for Germany I haven't been to any of the Scandinavian countries, so I'll just stick to the one I'm most familiar with. One city I can highly recommend in Munich. I went there in May, and it's one of the nicest cities I've been to. The public transit systems like the trams are new and excellent and make it really easy to get around. My family and I took a Free Bike Tour led by an American who lives in Munich, and it was very fun. Munich has to be the best city ever to ride a bike in, everyone seems to do it and the bike tour is a great way to ride a bike while getting some info on the various sites. My favorite part of Germany (and most of Europe for that matter) is just all of the cute little villages that we just don't have in the US. If you have the chance, just buy some bread and some toppings and go to a little village or countryside for a picnic. The food will be great and the atmosphere even better. Karlsruhe (my hometown) is a nice medium-sized city as well. If you go, go to Eis Cortina and get some Erdbeereis for me. The ice cream in Europe is almost always better than it is here. I haven't really been to the northern part of the country, so I don't know of anything to recommend there. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

The Tantive IV is looking extremely nice to me. The shape is beautiful, and it seems to have quite a few nice parts as well. It's a shame we didn't get a few more minifigs, but it's not a big deal, and I'm especially glad the price is at least semi-reasonable. I think I'll definitely try to get this one. Do you have to say this in every sentence?

My Target only has the Hailfire Droid for $3 off, a few Bionicle for $2 off Indy Jungle cutter for $6 off, and a few other small things. I was hoping for some good discounts, but for some reason Target doesn't have big sales, at least not mine...
-
My Target's "clearance sale" is only like 3 to 5 dollars off of some sets. I always think of clearance sales as great deals, but not at my Target.

Simply gorgeous! The landscaping is so beautiful with the SNOT water and the trees. It's such a fun scene. As for the building, absolutely fantastic. So many details, and the sheer size is mind-blowing. Did you build the building by itself and then plunk it on the of the water? Or are there some studs in the middle of the water? Top-notch work Aliencat.

Thanks a lot guys!

Just filled it out. Thanks Bonaparte. -
Friction. They are simply squeezed in by the other 2 pieces, tight enough so they don't fall out.
