Let's try to keep this a bit more on-topic guys Okay (not ok-ey)? Nice MOC Hound! You gave it a great battle feel with all of the commotion.

I see no harm in his thread at the moment. Sure, it's a little silly, but everyone needs a good laugh now and then. If it gets out of hand, we'll close it. Plus, it's observing a really interesting thread.

Wonderful review! The pictures are lovely. This is one of the best small Classic Pirates sets in my opinion. A lot of great minifigs, and the buildings are simple but look very nice. I'll get this indexed straight away.

Another lovely review! This is yet again a fun little set with some nice minifigs and a solid build. I wish we would get more small sets like this nowadays. I'll index this.

I can't believe it's been a year already! I'm really proud of all of the teachers who made this possible. I couldn't ask to work with a better bunch of people. Here's to many more years of great reviews!

Vig. 89c The Soldiers love to hang around this area of the town, where the water is clear and also where they can taunt their prisoners. Flickr Page. Thanks!

That's looking absolutely beautiful! I must say, there's not much I like more than a nice clean looking white tile MOC. You really captured the Cloud City look with the sterile walls and the almost "airy" feel to the place. I'm eager to see new updates from you!

I really would go with the beach house. It has way more parts for the money. When I took that set apart for the pieces, I thought to myself "what a great deal this set is!". With the Shanghai Chase, the minifigs are lovely and the cars are well designed, but it doesn't really have a good "wow" factor if you know what I mean.

Really nice MOC Gambort! (Welcome to EB by the way ) The colors you used for this are excellent, you don't see too many large MOCs with dark orange. My favorite part of the MOC though are the shutters over the windows. I have one question, what are the things coming out of the windows? I assume some sort of maintenance devices... I'm not much of a train expert. Beautiful work!

Congrats buddy! You really deserved this, and I look forward to working with you.

Flipguy, there's already a topic for this, so I went ahead and merged the 2. Thanks!

Welcome to our community! I'm sure you'll love it here, and I'm looking forward to seeing you around. I'll move this to the "Hello, My name is:" forum.

Erdbeereis replied to Inconspicuous's topic in Pirate MOCs
Very nice work Inconspicuous! I really love what you did with the shooting feature; it's much more innovative than everyone's favorite flick-fire missles. I'll just move this to the Pirate MOCs forum. -
Nice haul CopMike! Did those all fit in your suitcase? What brought you to Vancouver? I've been thee once, it's pretty nice.

That is simply stunning. The detailed rigging, the beautiful sails, it's all just so magnificent. Certainly one of the best ships I have ever seen. Top-notch work Admiral!

Great review, I just indexed it. For such a small set, this is quite nice. It comes with two fun minifigs, and the skull rock is a cool touch. I never knew it had such an interesting feature, thanks for making a video of it. I'm sure this will get on the CP frontpage at some point.

Wow, that does look great on the mug. I look forward to the Islanders one.
-
Those Armada ones are the best yet. I love the font on the god, gold and glory one, but can it have the large print on the front on the shirt instead of the back? Awesome work Apache!
-
My guess for those 2 questions would be: 1) I think the battle pack should come out any time now, but one never knows for sure. It could be sometime in Fall even. 2) The Castle battle packs cost about $15, so anywhere around that price range is probably right.

Very nice review Inconspicuous! I quite like this set; it's a great way to try out the Islanders theme to see if you like it. It's great to get 2 lovely printed shields in such a small set. Thanks a lot for the review.

Happy birthday to you, and Ricecracker as well!

This is looking awesome! I hope to see some Islanders at some point. I may have to hire you to do a shirt with my sig-fig for Brickworld next year.

Really nice work ISC! Your MOCs have greatly improved. The tree on the left turned out very well, and I must say the structure of the building is superb. You did a wonderful job with the angles of the roof and the balcony section of the tower. Interesting idea with the tan tree trunk. Is it a birch? But one thing, you need some bigger posterboard mate. Is this for BW 2010? If so, good luck with the plane ride and I hope to see you there.

I'd love to see a few more that are more LEGO-like. Some other minifig shirts would be awesome, maybe Islanders and Armada even.

I thought keeping the plate non-LEGO would give it a better feel. And, it would take a while to make a LEGO plate and I only wanted to spend 5 minutes on this.
