A few more questions: 1. About aliens... In the rulebook it says "Every planets are open for alien builds without restrictions, except for the 3 home planets." What are the alien activity levels for on the planet descriptions? Can there be alien builds on planets with alien activity status listed as "none"? What constitutes as alien activity? Sentient species, flora, fauna? Would friendly alien builds still deplete the Corporation domination the same as hostile alien builds? 2. Concerning builds and scoring... What is the optimum size for a build? What would be the minimum size of a build to get a full "7" grade? I imagine piece count would factor in more than actual dimensions... If I'm building a fairly large multi-structure, would it be more beneficial if I post each structure as an individual build rather than a single entry?

I agree with CEO Narbilu and was going to suggest Lorstan II as well. I believe we should also move to the Hamilton Belt at the same time as Lorstan II expanding our territory in two directions. Presently, I am better prepared for Lorstan II as we are currently designing ocean research vehicles.

Nice build! The ground cover looks great! Nice to see the Masa Palm again!

Are we going to get private PM channels for each faction so we can put together our super secret strategies?

Mister S reporting for duty. My team is standing by for orders.

I'm assuming each faction starts with a domination of a single planet? Is this correct? From what I understood, you can do every job but you have to have a specialization in one which you get bonus gold for when your build fits your specialization? That is not correct?

Mister S, founder of MicroTronics Corporation which is now a subsidiary of Kawashita Group, is employed by the group as a Driver. Not only is he an expert driver of any land vehicle, he also has expertise at driving people and motivating them to operate at their peak performance. His files are classified but it is rumored that he is as skilled with a blaster as he is with a drill. MicroTronics was founded as a producer of a large transport ATV for the military but soon ventured into other types of heavy machinery both military and commercial. One of MicroTronics most popular models is its Sentinel Mech which can be customized for different uses.

Voting Thread: Warzon 5, Battle of the Deep Sands

After having a bit more time to actually read your comment, I'd say you owe me an apology for your snide comments. Do you seriously think that if I was capable of competing, I wouldn't? The most I would be able to build at present and for an unforeseeable future is 5 minute builds something along the lines of robuko's micros. You don't see me posting any MOCs anywhere else and it isn't because I don't want to but simply because I cannot. And perhaps that is what bugs me the most. Not being able to help my team out. Seeing such a disparity in the scoreboard only stirred my irritation. The builders that are building are doing their best, yet they aren't even getting a quarter of the votes. As I said before, I say again, something is definitely off. @blufiji - That is some pretty awesome sand you built there.... -

Good question... maybe that is why my interest is waning. Nothing tangible to win anymore.... In the beginning there were Lego prizes. -

I could have just spent two minutes piling bricks on a plate for at least one challenge in each book and still gotten the tags. Absolutely no proof of accomplishment there. Edit: I'm not complaining about DK winning and at this point I kind of hope they win because it will result in my character being killed off. I'm just saying that with the large disparity in the voting it definitely shows DK has an edge that wouldn't change even if everyone from all the teams built. I'm pretty sure that if one team had only one build and it was the best build of all, that team would get the majority of the votes even if every other member of the other teams built. -

I didn't know that but again you are a "MOC expert. So evidently someone thinks your builds are pretty good. I only give my self the credit that I deserve and three years of building and never winning anything proves my builds are subpar. You definitely don't get my point. Its a waste of time building in GoH because my efforts are largely ignored. I'll instead build subpar builds for my son who simply loves them. -

Out of that list of builders even though they put out great builds only Gabe is on the same level or better than Disco and MassEditor. You might be happy to counter them but it doesn't change the facts that you have no chance of beating them unless they decided to let you win by producing a subpar build. -

I don't think the issue has anything to do with number of builders on each team but rather unbalanced teams in terms of building capabilities. As long as MassEditor and Disco continue posting entries for DK, Ulandus and HC don't stand a chance as there is no one on either team who could beat either one of them. I'm not delusional enough to think I can, so I'm not even going to waste my time trying. -

Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Mike S replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
We had a discussion about this when Brunak the Chosen was wanting to join the High Council. Brunak claimed the Fallen Angel for Kaliphlin but has since been dispossessed by the desert king. I imagine that the Nocturnus/Kaliphlin borders are not clear cut boundaries but more of miles of no mans land between them. The Fallen Angel probably would fall into this territory until one of the guilds officially builds a major settlement there. -
I wonder what will happen when Leander from opposing factions meet? Approved!

Ulandus must be really short on personnel in this area to risk an allied Council member in the front lines! Approved!

Thanks everyone for the comments! I was trying to get a sparse looking tree look similar to this. But as it does not seem to be as popular as my fuller palms, I will continue using my older style. Not sure if time would have made much of a difference as my dark tan inventory is extremely limited.
