  1. Perfect! I hadn't checked this thread again as I still have to take a photo of my original "Phantom Legion" inspiration. I just wanted to get the challenge 5 entry off my mind before the deadline snuck up on me and I had no more time to finish it. But should be soon, hopefully by tomorrow evening.
  2. I was able to finish my Challenge 5 entry over the weekend, here and also finished another small project that had been lying around- here The link box seems to have changed a bit... had to edit to get the links to work.
  3. Even though Mikel Kalores is missing, Gaius Kaleci continues his work. A dwarven golem has been engineered and given the task to search for Mikel and bring him home. Will the golem succeed or will the hordes of vampires overcome it? Edit: added more pics
  4. With Mikel Kalores missing since his expedition with the Alleenridders, it seemed that Yesil the Grelf must look elsewhere for a hero for Kaliphlin. And so it was that a resident of a small fishing town on the eastern coast of Kaliphlin received a message. And the day after receiving the message, the villager left town. A few weeks later the villager met up with Yesil in a desolate location deep in the Parched Lands. The black pyramid was built centuries ago to preserve the trees of life. The water that flows around the tree roots is rumored to contain a power great enough to turn the deserts into forests or put an end to the elemental chaos of Victor Revolword. Masa dips his blade into the pool and pledges his support to the Phantom Legion. As there is not much else to do, soldiers carve wood sculptures or dry meat strips into jerky. Forces of the Corrupt Hand are dealt with mercilessly. They are put into pillory, with a black sack stuck over their head until they give the very last bit of information they know of Victor Revolword and his plans. Masa's tent. Even in war, he lives in considerable luxury. Every day new volunteers arrive bringing manpower and supplies to the Phantom Legion.
  5. After seeing the pics, this theme is a lot more attractive to me than ninjago although each subsequent wave of ninjago seemed to get better. I had absolutely no interest in ninjagos first wave, but here most of the sets are potential buys. I really like the eagles and crocs but can't wait to see the sets in person to get a better perspective.
  6. What? Know ye not that the people of Historica be just scattered abroad during the chaos that Victor Revolword has caused? After he has been dealt with, they all shall return. But seriously, I don't think that there is really any cause to worry. I think the site troubles had a bit to do with the silence here of late as it kind of broke the EB addiction... As for me I have lots of ideas just little time. In another month or so I should have a bit more free time again.
  7. As my post was deleted, I will thank Angeli once again for hosting this and Gilence for representing Angeli.
  8. Some really awesome elements here, one of which MikeyB already stated- the beard for the hair is brilliant!
  9. Nice incorporation of your flower MOC in smaller scale! And I probably would have missed the ninja had he not been mentioned...
  10. Beautiful flower! Now I'm going to have to go find Angeli's and compare...
  11. Excellent story and vignettes!
  12. Nice entry! Looks like you might be expanding your brick collection, no? And as Kai NRG asked, is there an interior. I hardly ever go beyond this site to check out flickr streams, so what I see posted in Eurobricks is usually all I see.
  13. I agree but at least LEGO is giving us 3 different goblin torsos in the Goblin King set. I was expecting them all to be the same like in LOTR....
  14. Excellent job! I really like how you built the damaged wall. The siege engines are great as well.
  15. Brilliant build! I especially like the "wings" hanging from the ceiling.
  16. Same here. I think I will be buying multiples of this set...
  17. Balin, I think is my favorite. Bofur and Dwalin come pretty close as well.
  18. Nice job! Very much reminds me of Lego's 90's sets such as Extreme Team Challenge but in medieval times.
  19. Same here. I really wasn't a Ninjago fan but I really like Kai's robot (I might even get more than one of these). And the Temple of Light while not the most memorable, I love those spires!
  20. Looks like a perfect place to camp with the freshwater pool there! And that cow must be terrified...
  21. Nice job! I will try to keep my post the same and suggest that you break up the green and yellow bricks into 1x4 green and 1x2 yellow for the front and 1x4 & 1x2 grays for the back.
  22. Nice story and nice touch with the sheriff hamering the notice to the sign!
  23. I thought I had posted a comment here... well here goes again... Excellent job!
  24. Unless the first post has been amended, I would say yes... I've been spending what little free time I have working on challenge 5 so until I'm done that unfortunately I'm out of this.
  25. Absolutely a masterpiece! Too many splendid details to comment on....
