Ah-ha! Finally spotted the 1x2 dark green plates for sure! Thanks for a great review, F0NIX! It's a very interesting set, very different from the previous in the Architecture theme but a welcome change I think.

Ah crap! I didn't know that piece looked like that. It tricked me! Well, 1x2 dark green plates has started to show up in great numbers on Bricklink so I guess they will be present in some of the upcoming sets (but not sure which one yet).

Ah, there is that 1x2 dark green plate!

"Well, I guess I try and hit the gate with my mace from the front row then." Maurice couldn't really understand why they had to smash through every obstacle they encountered, but maybe that was something their party leader enjoyed. Anyway, he let it pass for now. -
It's the fourth colour so far (yellow, light flesh and gold being the others). I'm still waiting for the first female version though.

"Very well, I will heal Tesni before we continue. Eric will regain his strength be himself I think, so I'm spared of having to heal him again." -

"Hm, so more and more enemies will appear behind the gate after every round. Is it really worth it to continue this way when we could just go right instead? If we decide to continue the fight I will attack the gate again." -

Maurice gave Eric a look of surprise and mistrust, did the Radier really expect a heal from him? "You should've stocked up on potions before you left for this quest, Eric. Well, for the sake of our mission I'll heal you, but you better start be of some use soon or I might not be as kind next time." Maurice made himself ready to heal Eric from the back row. -

"Good job! I think Namyrra should get the ether core, I already have two and she uses much more ether than me." -
I agree, light bley and orange works very well together. I also like the use of large tiles and curved slopes to get that smooth, areodynamic feeling.

Congratulations to the winners! Amazing entries and great constest, I hope we can get another Architectre contest some time in the future. Thanks to Rufus and the EB staff for all your hard work!

Interesting. I'm not a SW fan so I doubt I will get whatever set this appears in, but I wouldn't mind getting my hands on that minifig. The new skirt piece definitely fits for this fig, but I don't think it will appear in other minifigs. It's too specialized for that but it would be great if we would get a new 2x2x1.2/3 slope piece instead. Judging from the pic where she stands next to CopMike's Fabuland fig it's the same height as the slope piece, 2 bricks.

Fantastic work, Barney! I really love how you not only built a great ship, but two(!), and then placed them in a scene with the amazing sea. It really adds to the experience of the MOC, to see the ships set in their natural environment and with all the action going on captured in a special moment. Good luck in the contest, I hope and think you will win!

"These sign are really weird, I can't understand what they are supposed to mean. If we are going south it might be a good idea to ingest some enhancing substances, I think I saw something down that way." -
I come with sad news. I will not be able to come to the event this year. I mistook the dates for the event and now I've promised my work that I will start on May the 8th and I can't postpone it any more then I've already have. Really stupid mistake from me, I guess I've learned a lesson at least. Have a great time all of you who are going, I'm sure it will be awesome!

Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigures Series 6 Building Contest
Etzel replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The Irish round rowers were built during the 9th to 12th century and served as bell towers and/or places of refuge. These times were troublesome for the Irish people as Viking frequently came to plunder their homes. Even the more shy and secret inhabitants of the Emerald Isle, as the Leprechauns, made sure to take cover in the towers when the ravaging horde of Norsemen came ashore. The model is built for the Leprechaun (series 6) and the Viking (series 4) and the architecture feature is the typical Irish round tower. The tower is inspired by Derfel Cardarn's style. Although much more fragile since I didn't have all the necessary pieces. -
