  1. Great review, thanks very much for all the pictures and description! This set looks amazing (so much detail and thought put into it) and good value for money even though the price tag is to high for me. Just one thing though... looks like one of the printed tiles on the side of the door is too high :-P
  2. Looks like 2 1x2 grill tiles which fit nicely into the inside of the arch piece. Never thought i'd see that area of the brick used so well X-D Micro-scale castle - great idea!
  3. That's a big question but I think I would like to see more re-releases of classic sets from the 80's *y*
  4. Before I saw that it was a parts pack, I thought TLC were giving us a trans-clear house... not sure what the point in that would be but trans-clear minifigs would work well as ghosts *y*
  5. Yeah, I wonder who the winning bidders are and what they do for a living. One guy from Germany who bought a medium size MISB space set from me for around $200 was an architect.
  6. Maybe this isn't unusual but the prices for these 80's MISB Castle sets seems so high given that they are only small "accessory" sets. 6011 Black Knight's Treasure - 1985 6022 Horse Cart - 1984 6035 Castle Guard - 1987 6102 Castle Mini Figures - 1987 1695 Treasure Cart - 1992
  7. Lol, I just hope I don't lose out, that's all. He's got 5 days to reply to the Paypal dispute I started. If he doesn't then Paypal will decide in my favour. I don't think he'll be replying to the dispute claim! He stole from several stores in the area.
  8. Thanks for the Technica link, I found the set but it is pneumatic. 8846 (1999) http://isodomos.com/technica/index/8400/8446.php Now I know the year, i'll look up the description. It wouldn't have stayed in my mind for no reason! EDIT ^^^ post above: yep, that's exactly right. Thanks everyone
  9. I've searched google, bricklink and brickshelf a few times and can't find anything but i'm certain of it's existence! *alien* I haven't got access to my old LEGO catalogues so I can't give you a set number but I swear there was a Technic set that had hydraulics instead of pneumatics! Early 2000's I think. Possibly a green/black colour combination.
  10. Anthony Ricca... that sounds familiar... hold on, A.Ricca... Payment To: ANTHONY RICCA (The recipient of this payment is Verified) Seller's ID: go8911 Seller's Email: aricca@aol.com Now I know why this guy is no longer registered on eBay! Now I know why this guy isn't answering my emails! I can only hope he sent my SW LEGO before he got arrested! Luckily I added insurance to the item so that means i'm able to get a refund through Paypal? Can't believe i've bought stolen LEGO though. I don't condone that at all
  11. Ah, thanks. I was looking around LDraw but didn't find that page! I'll just build the MTT myself then if all the parts are there. Or just build what I can. Should be good practice - I haven't used the MLCAD software much.
  12. I'm starting a project using MLCad and I have found an AAT.mpd file (LEGO set 7155 built in MLCad). But I need to find an MTT 7662 built in MLCad. I've tried looking but can't find anywhere with CAD versions of this set or any other official sets. Is this most likely because some parts for this set haven't been created yet?
  13. Need a few extra minifigs? I know I do! **update** Sold for about
  14. Is anyone else interested in trying to work out what's written on the small board behind the V-19? I see the 12 months along the top (J F M A etc) and a few words down the left (Launch, Lucas, TV, Promotional Activity, Online, xxxxx, LEGO.com) I also see that it says 'Provisional and Confidential' across it but board is already in the picture... or are these pictures confidential too?
  15. What kind of shop was this?! Sounds amazing!
  16. Thanks. I did a few searches but didn't find this. Had a quick look and it should help.
  17. I apologise if this is the wrong place to ask this question! Does anyone know of an easy way to remove the paint from a piece of lego whilst keeping the brick in good condition, i.e. no harsh scrubbing? Specifically, i'm talking about the UFO grey saucer sections. I've looked on bricklink and can't find any plain grey ones. Thanks
