  1. Man... I seriously regret sharpie-ing all my classic-space and C-3PO torsos when I was little. NEVER SHARPIE! It will only destroy your parts.
  2. I know! There was a promotional poster with a bunch of darkened rock monsters on it on the back of my latest mag.
  3. Hmm... that's very interesting! I like it!
  4. Haha, that made me laugh!
  5. Wow... that's nice. I like his feet!
  6. Ditto. Two CS sets are better than one!

    Blacktron V2

Thanks, bubs! And yeah, it does look more futuristic. I would have used a classic trans-yellow windshield, but I didn't have any.

    Blacktron V2

Built for the Novvember Vic Viper pool thingy. Yay for two-pronged fighters! I never knew I had any Blacktron pieces, but when I found that nose piece in the bottom of a box when building, I knew I had to build it Blacktron. When I (finally) finished it, it looked good enough to post as a nice little swarm fighter. The nose pops off with a technic pin, by the way. Inspired by all those Blacktron sets that separate into like three pieces. Full gallery here on Flickr. Comments? Questions? Pee? -Dr. X
  9. I like it. And yeah, the SNOT's great.
  10. I like it. It's simple, but pleasantly so.
  11. I just finished what I think is the first entry in Keith Goldman's 'YOU control the action!' contest. Discharging the Fascist Hierachy Full gallery here on Flickr. -Dr. X

    B-1 Spaceship

Very nice! The wing things give it a weird (not bad, but unusual) look, and the greebs on the back are nice too. I like this MOC!
  13. Nope, no interior. Just emptyness.
  14. The JHv-21 is the last in a long line of heavy freighters from the JapanSpace Inc. Shipyards. It's cargo capacity is many times that of an average freighter, and it's speed is near the same. This particular ship, the 'Hwuing Nehj', is configured for carrying metallic ore. I'm actually really enjoying MicroSpace now, and one day when I was browsing ToyBrickBrigade (a BL store), the shape, color, and size of this ship all just popped into my head. I got a bunch of hinge plates, SNOT bricks, and some lime, and when the order arrived it was done within a day. You can see it's really progressed from it's original WIP form. During the photoshoot, my cat unexpectedly hopped up onto the workbench and intruded rudely to sniff my ship, ruining a perfect shot. Full gallery of 10 pics here on Flickr. That's all, folks! 15. UPDATE: It is now finished. Yes, there is a bridge area now, and engines, and a front, and more stuff... so ya. Will post later today when I take quality pics.
  16. Just today I finally got my Bricklink order in the mail. I could finally start building the microspace freighter I was planning, so I got to it. The order consisted of hinge plates, 1x4 SNOT bricks, a bunch of lime pieces, and some dark red 2x3 wedge plates. I already have a giant bag of 1x2 dkred tiles. A little later I came up with this, which is more or less the core frame of what I was planning: A bit later, it looked like this: And now comes the long, boring part: putting on all the dark red 1x2 tiles. Across almost the whole thing. After that, here's what it looked like. As you can see, both ends are still completely empty, so the thing is just a shell. I experimented a bit and found out that from one end to another it was 9 studs wide, so I built this little round thing, 9-wide, and it fit perfectly. I made a reverse one for the back too. That's all for now. Remember, it's only a WIP, so it will look a lot different once it's done. Any suggestions for the front and back? -Dr. X
  17. Yes! This is win, I love it.
  18. Lé thanks!
  19. Man, I know TLC is never going to make these, but they'd be as cool as hell. I've watched every single STG episode twice over now, and... *faints from lack of Picard figure*
  20. Verah nice little table! And ralph, that's got some great pictures (and great use of the Pythagorean theorem!), but it's in german. I love SNIR and SNARL!
  21. The White Fire is the personal Starship of Senator Jane De'nrin. It is heavily customized, with no (visible) armaments, but can attain an extremely high speed. It is configured with a lavish state-of-the-art luxury interior, including private bunks, a GalactiNet transceiver, and even a small spa. I normally like to build minifig scale, and for some reason microscale has always repulsed me. I've been building with Lego for 10 years, and I've never built any serious microscale MOCs. But yesterday, I was trying to build a retro-ish thing and I just couldn't succeed, so it eventually just kinda blorped out into A microspace. It could be better, but for my first microscale creation I think it's pretty good. And the SNOT in the nose is a lot more complicated than it looks from the outside, by the way. Full gallery here on Flickr. That's all, bubs! What do you think of it? -Dr. X
  22. Very nice for a first! The minifig legs are a good idea. And maybe it could use a thruster like Guss said.
  23. Thanks! And they're cannons, by the way.
  24. I know these. At Lego cons like BrickCon or Brickfest, the Lego company always attaches two of those pieces, plus a 1x8 tile, and they are custom printed too. I've got like 6 of these from Brickfest and two Lego universe ones from Brickcon. Since they're promotional and only found at cons, they are not on Peeron or Bricklink. Where did you find these? Did you get them from a friend who went to Brickfest?
  25. Thanks for the comments! And I never noticed it looked more heavy-duty from the top. Thanks for pointing that out. And I might add bigger tailfins, that's a good idea, but I'll probably never do a new cockpit.
